—Lena's POV— We were packed up and kids were excited about the road trip, I decided to drive instead of taking a plane, the drive down is about six hours and between me and Zoey it shouldn't be a problem. The truth is that with a flight, we would've gotten there in two hours and then the drive down to the pack would've been about thirty minutes, but I wanted to postponey reunion with Leo for as long as possible. So the kids were buckled up in the back, Zoey took the passenger seat, I was going to drive for the first three hours and she would finish the journey. Zoey talked on the phone with Zeo, Leo's Beta, so they know to expect us, Zeo said that all my requirements have been met and our house is ready. —Lena’s POV— The shock was clear on his face, he looked like he had just seen a ghost. —Lena's POV— I've had a long night, I barely slept. Karla woke up screaming because she was in a new place and she was scared that she had been kidnapped, after that her brother's woke up and we had lunch and when it was time to go to bed, they all slept with me and I stayed up to watch over them. So you can only imagine after driving sic hours and barely getting any sleep, I'm really not in the mood for any confrontation today but it's just my luck that she's here today. We continue walking and I can feel him watching me, I know he has questions but he better come out and say it because I'm not going to help him. “Can I ask you something?” He asked. “It depends.” I tell him. “On what?” He asked. “Does it have to do with work?” I asked him. “No, it doesn't.” He tells me. “Then it's my personal life then, well you can ask but I make no promises to answer.” I tell him. “It’s about your children actually, is their father in the picture?” He asked me. I knew he was going to ask me this and I already prepared an answer for him. “Yes, he is. He didn't come with us because he has a big project back at work, but he'll come visit them when he has the chance.” I tell him and the lie just slips easily off my tongue.
