It was nobody's fault but mine for asking. Why did I need to know how he accomplished all that? What was more important was that I had a dress to wear for my wedding and nothing else. But then I went ahead to ask a stupid question, and now I'm faced with curious eyes from Philip.

He was looking at me, wondering if I had any sort of reaction to what he had just said. There was no strong reaction from me, anyway. But I was, at the very least, shaken to hear that name. Not because of anything, but it painfully reminded me of what occurred before we left that environment.

However, there was just no way to explain it to Asher that there was nothing attached to the way I reacted, if he actually saw it. It wasn't a big deal on my part; there was nothing to me. But just because I have these thoughts didn't mean that's how it was received.

I nodded my head, "he did a good job. Did he buy it himself?" I asked casually as I looked through the bag again.
