Asher's POV

I saw the confusion in his frown, he was looking at me like I was speaking Japanese and, like I was some sort of weirdo.

No one could blame me, I couldn't understand why he wasn't getting angry. He was weird, normally, he was supposed to be angry, he was supposed to blame me and scream and yell that I was being stupid, that i ruined his life, I ruined the friendship he had with Tristan just because of some sort of words from a woman who would soon turn out to be a victim of Tristan's, of course she would want to save herself. Of course she had been lying.

But he wasn't saying those things.
