Chp 18 Pt. 4 Escape Attempt

We begin to make our way up towards the second level when Ahsoka has another contraction. She using all her strength to keep herself against the wall so she doesn’t fall. I can see her legs getting ready to give out from the pain when she suddenly lets out a breath and she slips a bit.
“You okay Ahsoka,” I ask.
“We need to hurry, they are getting too close together.”
Dakota pushes herself faster, knowing we are running out of time. Ahsoka needs to rest before another contraction hits her. I am concerned she will fall if she has another one, taking me out with her. It’s a long way down and I’m not sure she will survive. I might but I don’t think she would. As Dakota reaches the duct we are looking for she climbs into it on her hands and knees before helping Ahsoka. As I follow them we hear a noise below us. I peak my head down and notice a drone is heading up.
“Shit, it’s a drone.”
“Don’t move an inch,” says Dakota

AhsokaI can’t help but smile at Nico as I see him enter the room. I feel calmer and happier than that I’ve seen him. Ryan does not appear to thrilled. “You are mine, stop smiling at him.” I was too distracted watching Nico that I don’t dodge the spell in time and I fly across the room into the elevator. I walk over to them and he flinches, griping at her shirt. I back away and he relaxes again, drifting off to sleep. As soon as I am sure he is asleep I walk back over and take Ahsoka’s hand. I look at the boy and notice how much he truly looks like her. He has her thick, black hair and an olive complexion.
