Chapter 6

I opened my eyes and luckily for me the room was dark.

"Come back to me Zara, please," I heard Wyatt plead in a whisper.

"I'm here. How long was I out for?" I asked and he pulled me into his body, crushing me in a hug.

"Almost a day. Stop scaring me like this Zara," he asked and I could see the fear in his eyes.

Fear of what?

"Oh I don't know. Fear that he might lose us. Use your brain," Liv scolded.

"Lose me? Pssh. That's not it."

"What happened? Why did you suddenly faint?" his blue eyes staring into my soul.

I didn't know if I should tell him or not. So I kept it to myself.

"Nothing really. Just tired and I guess my body just shut down," I shrugged.

"Well try not to scare me like that again, especially Stella. She couldn't stop crying," my heart dropped at the image of Stella crying because of me. I nodded.

"Would you like anything?" he asked as he got up from the bed. I shook my head. He ran his hand down his face and walked out.

"Can you be a little less harsh on mate? For my sake please?" Liv whimpered.

"No. He doesn't deserve any kind behavior. I will be as hostile as ever with him. He killed everyone I loved," I replied angrily.

She responded by burying herself in a ball and hiding.

Wyatt's POV

"How'd it go?" Miles asked with Remy by his side.

"It seems as if she's complying but she isn't," I answered and gave a long sigh.

"How do you know?" Remy asked raising an eyebrow.

"Because I don't feel her accepting us," I said and suddenly I heard the soft footsteps of Stella behind me.

"Is Z okay now? Can I go see her?" she asked. I had a soft spot for children, no matter how annoying they were. Only Remy and Miles knew because that would change my whole bad alpha status. Not that I cared, I just didn't want people to think I was weak.

"Yes Z is awake and waiting for you," I stooped to her level and told her. She hugged me and that struck me by surprise.

"Thank you Wy Wy," and giggle. She ran up to Zara and I turned around to see the two idiots smiling at me.

I went to my office and all the work made me tired.  Suddenly Stella's scream filled my ears immediately then Remy ran came in directly afterwards.

"You need to see this," he spoke hastily.

When I arrived Zara's room my eyes almost bulged out of their sockets.

"Don't even bother trying to pull her down. We've been thrown across the room," Miles informed me.

Zara was in the air with this green light power surrounding her. Miles' warning didn't matter to me anymore. I tried pulling her down and instead it was like I was second skin to her. But then I couldn't pull away. I look up to see Zara looking down at me with green eyes and her hands at the side of my face and her mouth moving but I couldn't make out what it was she was saying.

I started feeling pain all over and after what felt like forever she released me and she fell. I stood up quickly recovering after that weird encounter and waited to see if she was okay and would wake up. Even the guys stood there frozen bewildered. She finally opened her eyes and sat up.

"What happened? Why are you guys in here?" she asked.
