ISAIAH

It’s been two weeks since the day at the motel, and Zira was still locked in the room. So, she kept to herself most days, not that it was her choice. I didn’t want to keep her locked in her room, but I needed to keep her close and safe. I let her family visit as much as they could, but I couldn’t help but think they had something to do with the abortion. Well, at least, that was what Alaia thought. Zira was close to them, so maybe they did know something.

Mary delivered her food three times a day, and every time I asked about her. Mary would tell me the same thing. Zira wasn’t sleeping well, but her appetite was as strong as ever, and of course...

“She wants to get out of the room,” Mary said, but I couldn’t.

I couldn’t trust her anymore. Mary once asked if Zira could get some fresh air. It was fall now, and I knew how much she loved the fall season. She told me she loved how the cool air felt through her fur and the sound of the leaves crunching underneath her paws. Th

ISAIAH Alaia stood up immediately and started to walk away. I grabbed her wrist before she could make it out of the room. “Alaia…” “I need a moment, Isaiah. I promise I’ll be back.” She turned to smile at me before pulling her wrist from my grasp. She was blocking me, so I couldn’t feel her emotions. “Not too long,” I nodded. I couldn’t believe my ears. Zira was having a white werewolf. White wolves were rare. Legends go that long ago, the Goddess had mated with a white werewolf, and those offspring had some of her powers. Whether it was faster healing, mind control over any werewolf, or being the Alphas of all Alphas. So white wolves were not just rare but sought out for their power. Throughout the years, many were killed due to other Alphas being afraid or jealous of the power they held. My great-great-great grandaunt was one of them. She was the second oldest, and her brother was the Alpha then. He was jealous of her power and thought she was trying to take his positi

  • The Alpha's Triangle   As You Wish

ALAIAARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?!?! After all that work to get Councilman Faulkner here, of all the things right now, she was going to have a white werewolf. A white werewolf! That should’ve been me. Me carrying his firstborn. Me carrying a white werewolf. If I had something to throw, I would’ve, at that moment. But, instead, I stood up. I couldn’t stand to be in the same room as her. I needed to act quickly. There was no way she was getting out of this. All that manipulation would not be for naught, and I refuse to give up. “Our baby is just as precious, Alaia.” “Who cares if it’s competing against a white werewolf, Elaine? So, stop coming to me with unimportant things!” I snapped at her, cutting her off completely. She only seemed to make me angrier. I left the room and went back to my office. I opened the grimoire and touched the pages to draw more power. I needed more than usual to manipulate Councilman Faulkner. He was undoubtedly old and resistant to magic, but this grimoir

ALAIA “What kind of favor?” I asked cautiously. Knowing my brother, he doesn’t ask people for favors. He prides himself on doing things with no help. This alliance with Isaiah was the first time he asked for help. So, whatever he wanted me to do was serious enough to need my powers. Zack was deep in thought before he answered. “I’m sure you know we went to the Wormhole two weeks ago to follow a lead on the rogue attacks. At first, I thought it was the owner, but he had no clue that a witch had bought his men. A witch was behind the whole thing,” Zack said. I controlled my face so as not to give away my surprise. Is he really trying to accuse me of my face? I slowly opened the dresser with the grimoire, preparing myself for whatever he would do next. “Why are you telling me this?’ Zack pulled out a necklace with a rune carved into it. It was Mirja’s. He placed it on the table. “I got this from a rogue at the bar. It belongs to the witch,” Zack spit out ‘witch’ as if it lef

  • The Alpha's Triangle   Banish Her

ISAIAHI watched as Councilman Faulkner seemed to be thinking or fighting with his thoughts before he spoke. “I understand. However, I still believe she should be executed for her actions. Changing her mind doesn’t excuse the fact that she was there on her own accord in the first place. Meaning everything up to that point was premeditated. Who’s to say she won’t have another change of heart,” Councilman Faulkner said. I looked at Zira and her family. They all shared the same look of desperation. I racked my brain, thinking of some way to help them. But, even though these weeks have been hectic, Zira was...is still my friend and a member of this pack. It’s my job to protect her, regardless of what she could have done. “Believe me, Councilman Faulkner, I was thinking the same, too, but maybe we could think of something less severe. Instead of an execution, we could…,” I hesitated and glanced at Zira. “I’m sorry, Zi,” I linked her. I knew she wouldn’t like this idea, but it was the

ISAIAHI quickly moved around my desk to place Alaia behind me as Zira burst into the room. “Zi…” I could sense she was angry. “Why!” She yelled. “Why can’t I stay with my family?” “What are you talking about?” I asked, moving closer to her. “The Councilman told my mom I had to stay here. Can’t you talk to him?” “Zi, I don’t have much control…”“You’re the Alpha!”“There are certain things even I can’t control,” I said calmly. “Case in point, what just happened in there.” “Please,” Zira pleaded. “If I’m going to be banished, the least they could do is let me spend my last days with my family. Please, Alpha Isaiah.” Zira fell to her knees. I bent down near her, stroking her back as she began to cry. I heard an exacerbated sigh behind me and turned to see Alaia cross her arms, rolling her eyes. I walked over to her. “Give it a rest, Alaia. Can’t you see she’s going through something right now? Put yourself in her shoes,” I whispered to her. “I can’t! Because, unlike her, I

VICTORIA The moment I saw Alaia leave the room, I followed a few feet behind. I could feel her anger vibrating off my skin. She was mumbling something I couldn’t catch as she disappeared behind her office door. I stood by Alaia’s office, hoping to find out what she was doing when I felt it. The feeling was heavy around the door, like dread creeping on my skin. It was so thick I had to step back to catch my breath. She was doing something evil in there. I felt a presence and turned to look down the hallway. There was nothing there, so I went back to the door. After not hearing anything in Alaia’s room, I returned to the room where the councilman was addressing everyone to signal Zack, and we met in the hall. “Did you find something?” Zack asked. “No, but whatever she is doing right now doesn’t feel like anything I’ve ever felt before,” I told him while leading him back to her office. “It’s something dark. I could feel it through the door.” “Don’t worry. I’ll see what I can sen

  • The Alpha's Triangle   Worry About Yourself

ALAIAI transported myself to Zack's office right as he was walking in. He was startled at first but quickly gathered himself before closing the door. "You could've given me a heads up, Alaia. It's still a little strange you can do this," he said, walking around me to his desk. "I used to do this a lot when we were kids. Thought you would be used to it by now," I said, placing the necklace he found at the bar. "I never liked it then either," Zack grumbled. "Do you remember the plan?" "Of course I do. I'll go in first to 'de-magic' the place, and then I'll pull you through. When that time comes, this necklace will illuminate." I walked over to the floor-length mirror I requested. "Place it over this mirror and walk through. Understand?" Zack picked up the necklace. "Sure. Place the glowing bit over the mirror. Just be careful," he said, looking down at my belly. As if he actually cares. I thought as I rolled my eyes. Just think Mirja will be one less person to worry about after t

I stepped back towards Mirja as he approached me, trying to get a better look at me. "Frank, leave," Mirja begged him, but his eyes never left mine. "Yes, Frank. Why don't you leave and get Nas? He knows me. I'm sure he could clear all this up," I said, trying to usher him out the door before he grabbed my arm. "No! This cloak and your scent. You…you…you were there. You...you...killed Danny," Frank said. "Why would I kill Danny?" I asked. "I was the one who paid you guys just for you all to fail. I was the one who got screwed in the end." I tried to pull my arm out of his grasp, but his grip didn't ease up. "No. I remember the figure well, and Danny didn't know many witches besides you and Mirja." Already, I could feel the power gathering inside me, ready to be released at a moment's notice. "Be careful what you say, Frank? Lies can get pe

  • The Alpha's Triangle   Epilogue

ISAIAH Water splashed on my face for the hundredth time as my son’s laughter filled the bathroom. I looked down at Arias, who apparently got a kick from throwing soap in my face. Each time seemed to make Arias laugh more. “Arias, we’ve been in here for twenty minutes. You have to let me wash you,” I said, trying to grab him, but Arias slipped out of reach. “That’s it. I’m coming in.” Arias shrieked, trying to get away from me. I couldn’t help but laugh. Who knew bath time could be this fun? After another ten minutes or so, I was able to thoroughly wash and dress Arias for bed. I laid Arias down in his crib and grabbed a book to read from the bookshelf. Arias climbed out of his crib and

I looked around the room for him, and it was empty.I was on my way to get out of bed when the door to my bathroom opened. James walked out and noticed my panicked face. He cocked an eyebrow, with a smile playing across his face.“What?”“I thought,” I said, trying to catch my breath. “I thought you were gone.”James laughed. “Where would I go?” James asked sarcastically. “You barely let me pee without hovering over me. ZACKAfter Alaia’s death, getting things back together slowly improved as the days passed. I took her body back to my pack to have a proper burial. Mirja didn’t think she deserved it. She wanted to burn the body, but I stopped before she could.True, Alaia was evil, and I knew that. However, she was still my sister, and I felt partially responsible for everything that had happened. So, I brought her home and buried her next to our parents. She was their problem. After that matter was settled, our days were filled with rebuilding the Blue Moon Pack. With the help of Alpha Isaiah and Alpha Fiona, we were now working at a ninety percent capacity. Most of the houses were rebuilt, and Bronx proved to be a responsible Beta. "Are we seriously going to go through this every morning?""Are you seriously going to force me to drink that crap," Luna Bella growled at her.Hitting the breaking point, Victoria growled back. "Drink it!"Luna Bella leaned back with a shocked expression before glaring at Isabella, who sat back, watching everything unfold.

  • The Alpha's Triangle   Gone

THIRD POV After her little laughing fit, Alaia turned her attention back to Mirja, who was trying to claw her way out of Alaia’s grip. Alaia could see her brother stalking back and forth beyond her little shield, looking just as helpless as his little mate. “You know,” Alaia started with a malicious smirk, “it tickled me when I found out you were my brother’s mate. All this time, I couldn’t figure out why you always dismissed my plans of wanting to kill him. Subconsciously, you were always on his side. You just didn’t know why. So now I’m going to enjoy killing you while he watches.” Alaia tightened the hold around Mirja’s neck as Mirja gasped for air. Alaia was so wrapped up in her fury to kill that she didn’t notice anyone entering her space until the last moment. She whipped around and came face to face with James.

I can tell he loves you,” James said to her. Zira looked at him, confused. “You’ve never called me Zi before, and why are you speaking in the third person?” “I’ll explain when I get you as far away from here as possible,” James said as he proceeded down the long hallway. They descended a few hallways before Zira squirmed out of James’ hold. “No,” Zira screamed. “I have to get Arias. I have to find him.”

THIRD POVMary gripped the bottle behind her back as the rogues glared at her. She tried controlling her fear as she approached them, but it slowly took over as she felt her legs shaking slightly. She wants me to check on the baby.”Mary tried to step through them, but the she-wolf held her back. Mary was able to get close enough to spray the pheromones on the she-wolf.
