"My dear, won't you be clocking in right now?"

My father had asked me a couple of hours ago I had looked up from my laptop into his eyes.

"... so I think I'm going to be working a little overtime today"

I said to him and I could see the look of disapproval that was in his eyes as he walked over to me and then sat on the available chair looking into my eyes.

"My dear I heard about what happened at the cafeteria today,"

My fingers immediately froze on the laptop.

"How did you find out?"

he cocked up one eye brown and tilted his head looking at me with slight amusement but it was filled up with concern as well.

"My dear it's my company I know everything that happens,"

I was wondering if he knew about my ex practically stalking me from place to place as well or if he just turned a blind eye to that thinking that it was just both of us working on the project.
