"No, I can't let you go again. You barely called when you went there. What makes you so sure that you will check in?"

"I will," it's my mom, as she gets out of the car.

"And you are?" she tilts her head, and you can see it's like she's trying to find the resemblance between me, her, and Echo.

" I am her mother. The least I can do is this one right thing. Allow her time with her people and when she is ready, she will come back," she explains.

I can tell she is shocked, and trying to process the whole thing of why my mom is even here in the first place. She looks at me and I shrug my shoulder.

"Fine," she sighs, shaking her head. "I don't know what's going on, but it already looks like you going through the most," she states.

All I do is nod because I've been going through it.

"Just be safe okay? The next time I don't get what's going on, I promise to pull through without a warning,"
