I walked out of the living room and out of the big house. When I got out, I could see the cars lined up already. They were probably waiting for me to come out. I could feel my phone vibrating endlessly. That was Chloe. She kept on calling and calling. But I had no intention to take any of her calls. It made no sense to me. Why would she send such a weird message to me? Out of all nights, it had to be the night she clearly knew that I was going to the pack's party with Alpha Zeus Ludendorff that she would want to meet with me. Well, that was not the issue. If she really needed to see me, she would be at the Alpha's welcoming party. But no! She would not do that. She just wanted me out of the event tonight.
