Chapter 6

Immediately she opened the door, Anna smiled at her from the door and she quickly returned the smile too. "Come in dear." Macey said, and gave way for her to walk in. Which she did happily. Anna went into the house and Macey quickly shut the door behind her. By then Anna was already sitting in a chair in the sitting room. Macey walked over to her and sat beside her on the couch and they both turned over to each other.

"So best, you are welcome and what can I offend you?" Macey asked.

"Anything you choose to do,is totally ok by me." Anna replied.

"Ok then, I will be back in a minute." Macey said, as she stood up from the couch beside her and started walking over to the kitchen.

Macey headed straight to the refrigerator immediately she got into her kitchen, and flipped it open before taking out a fruit juice. She shut the refrigerator back and went over to her ranger and grabbed a glass before walking out of the kitchen. She returned back to the sitting room with the fruit juice and glass in her hand and went towards her friend. She immediately dropped them on the table in front of Anna and had her seat beside her. "Self service dear." Macey said,

"Ok whatever, but honestly Macey,why don't you ever serve me any drink yourself?" Anna asked, while she took up the fruit juice in her hand and started opening it.

"Nothing really, I just see it as fun, asking you to serve yourself." Macey replied.

"Hmm," Anna exhaled. "OK then." Anna sighed, and poured out the fruit juice into the glass in front of her and quickly took it to her mouth and zipped it all down her throat.

"Goodness this is really good, I never knew, I needed a fruit juice until now." Anna said,

"You should thank me then, for knowing what you needed." Macey teased.

"You are so unbelievable." Anna said, and poured more fruit juice into the glass in front of her again and zipped it now her throat.

Macey was quiet all the while as she focused on her glance on the TV in front of her. But just then, her mind drifted off to the stranger she had met at the clubhouse the previous night. She quickly took her mind off it and turned over to Anna who was still busy drinking the fruit juice in front of her. Macey thought of talking about it with her best friend, maybe that could help her feel at ease a little. She hasn't really been herself since she returned back home that morning. She had been thinking too much about the stranger and she didn't even know what to do about it. Maybe it would be good for her to share it with someone else. And it would be no other person but her best friend Anna. She thought for a while and finally decided to talk to Anna about her last night encounter with the stranger.

"Hey best, I want to talk to you about something." Macey said,

"Ok,go ahead, I'm all ears." Anna replied, while she continued drinking the fruit juice in front of her.

"Anna, it's important, please just try to listen to me and give me your attention." Macey said,

"Oh ok," Anna sighed and dropped the fruit juice on the table and turned over to Macey fully. "I'm with you now." Anna said,

"Ok well last night, I met a guy at the clubhouse." Macey said,

"No way girl, please tell me all about him, is he cute?" Anna asked, smiling.

"He is actually cute but that's not the point here." Macey said,

"Ok go ahead tell me the point, you are trying to bring out here I'm listening." Anna said, and focused fully on her.

"Well last night, he actually saved me from a drunk guy,who tried to take advantage of me." Macey sighed and pulsed, but Anna remained quiet as she urged her to continue. "The thing is we both started talking, and honestly, I like it already, and we both got  intimate, but when I woke up this morning, I couldn't find him again and there was also no trace of him anywhere." Macey said, sadly.

"Oh dear, I'm really sorry about that, but maybe, he is a business man and he had to hurry over to his office, but don't worry about that, he might probably come over to the clubhouse again." Anna told her.

"But are you sure about that?" Macey asked.

"Yes I'm sure,so don't tell me you were sad because of that?" Anna asked.

"Maybe, I was a little." Macey said,

"Oh my that's unbelievable, but though you don't really need to worry too much about it he would definitely come around the clubhouse soon." Anna assured her.

"Ok, honestly I have been thinking about it, since I got home and I could just help it." Macey said,

"Oh, I guess you really like this guy so much, he must be really good looking then." Anna said,

"Yes he is, but aside that, I felt somehow attracted to this guy, and I don't know why, I have never been attracted to any guy before, but what I feel with this particular guy is so different and strong." Macey told her.

"Ok then, I guess I will also love to see him then, I really need to see him and know what actually attracted you to him." Anna said,

"Ok, but that means you have to come with me to the clubhouse tonight then." Macey told her.

"Yes, I will gladly do that." Anna replied,with a smile. And they both laughed together and started talking about other random things, while Anna resumed again with her fruit juice as they both went on and on talking. As they both remain seated on the couch.

But after they had both talked for a while they both focused their attention on the TV and started watching the movie on display in the TV. They sat there watching the movie until it was finally noon time. But they didn't bother standing up either as another movie was now on display. But Macey stood up immediately after her stomach clummed, reminding her she needed to eat something. She sighed immediately and got up from where she was seated. She thought of just ordering pizza as she was kind of too lazy to cook. But somehow she knew that was a bad idea, and she wasn't hungry for pizza but home made food. She sighed and slowly walked over to the kitchen, but by then Anna was already done with her fruit juice and all her focus was now on the TV.

Macey went into the kitchen and glanced around as she thought of what to cook. She sighed and went straight to her refrigerator and flipped it open. She took out some veggies and meat, and went back to the sink. She was going to make meatballs sauce and spaghetti. She proceeded to take out the spaghetti and broke it into small pieces and put it into the pot and turned on the gas. She added some water into the pot and put it into the gas, as she went on slicing the tomatoes, onions and peppers into smaller pieces, while she waited for the meat to melt off the ice in it.  She checked out the food she was cooking, and started adding all she needed into the food.

Soon the food was ready and she turned off the gas, but then her stomach clummed again. But this time she didn't feel it that much because the food was ready. She quickly dished out the food into a big bowl and took it over to the dining room. She dropped it there and went back to the kitchen to take out two breakable plates and cutleries that she was going to use in the dining room. She set up the table before returning back to the kitchen to take up two bottles of water. She dropped them on the dining table and left for the sitting room. She actually saw Anna still seated on the couch where they were both sitting before she left to make lunch and her eyes were still very fixed on the TV.

"Anna, come and have lunch with me, aren't you hungry?" Macey asked.

"I'm hungry but give me a minute, I will be there shortly." Anna said,with her eyes still fixed on the TV in front of her. She was actually enjoying the movie and doesn't want to leave the sitting room now. But she was also hungry and not too much. The fruit juice she had drank did well in helping her hide the hunger but she could also eat something.

"Anna, I know you too well, and I know you won't leave this sitting room,if I go over to the dining room without you, and also know I'm not leaving her until you get your ass up from that couch." Macey said,

"Oh my goodness, you are such a pain in the ass Macey." Anna frowned.

"Wow, it's a good thing,so just get up already." Macey said, standing in front of her and making it difficult for Anna to see the TV.

"Ok fine, I'm standing up now." Anna said, and started getting up from the couch. While Macey just smiled as she watched her do that.

Macey wrapped her arms around Anna and they both started walking out of the sitting room. Soon they were both in the dining room and they both helped themselves with a chair and sat. While Macey started dishing out the food as they both started eating immediately. They both remained seated in the dining room as they ate their food in total silence. But all the while they were eating Anna tried to eat faster so she could return to the sitting room. While Macey mind went again to the stranger she had met back in the club last night. She could only hope to see him again tonight and she just hoped what Anna had told her was the truth. She doesn't mind asking him why he just left her that morning that way without even bothering to drop even his contact or some information for her to be able to reach him. She sighed and tried to continue with her food. She just actually couldn't just wait for night to come again,so she could go over to the clubhouse again. She just needed to see him again that night and she just couldn't wait to see him. She also needs to figure out why she was also drawn to him that way, right from the very first moment she set her eyes on him.

They were both done eating within a while and Anna quickly left the dining room and went off to the sitting room. While Macey stopped up from her chair after which she was also done eating. She cleared out the dishes and took them to the kitchen, before returning back to the dining room to clean it up.  She arranged the chair back into their place and returned back to the kitchen and started washing the dishes. She arranged the dishes back into their place after washing them up and cleaned up the kitchen before leaving.

She understood the reason Anna had left the dining room earlier before she could even stop her. She knows Anna would have helped her on normal days, but she could tell Anna was really in love with that movie she was watching in the sitting room. So her actions were justifiable so she doesn't need to get upset that Anna Left her to do everything all by herself. She could tell that Anna really loves the movie, so it was good she let her be.
