I walked past her. My blood ran cold at how helpless she looked. She could not even help herself up. This was not the kind of Luna I wanted for myself. This was not the kind of Luna I had begged the Moon Goddess to give me. I wanted a strong Luna who will stand against the demons of my past but here she was, being the disgrace to my life.

“Alpha.” They all chorused as I walked past them. I acknowledged them with a nod and scanned around the room. From my peripheral, I noticed she already rose to her feet. I paid her no attention as I addressed my pack.
