Tyler was still bent, wrapping his arms protectively around the dead girl, contemplating what to do. His environment and all that came with it was silent, the moment slowly fading out.

“We have to leave. It will only take minutes for the Rogues to come for their own. They can sense that something is wrong,” Viktor beckoned.

“Where are the healers?” Tyler asked his voice firm, as well as his gaze that fell on Elijah.

“They are back at the shelter. We only came with three in case anyone gets injured.”

That was the response he needed. Tyler inhaled sharply, the scent of the girl filling his nostrils as well as a pull from her. She was his mate and even though she looked dead, he felt their bond. It was weak and almost unnoticed, but he wasn't wrong.

Viktor and Elijah knew they couldn't fight anymore. Therefore, they gave in. They followed, making sure their eyes and body were wary. Their intervention would surely come with a price, and it worried Elijah the most. Tyler wasn't a careless Alpha. He had never made a wrong decision. Not even once. Although nobody knew his origin, he had rapidly and effortlessly risen to the position of their Alpha when the old one exhausted his life span. Yet, a dead girl had pushed him to act irrationally. What was his plan? Bury her? Revive her?

Even Tyler knew that he didn't have a plan as he carried the girl, praying that she was somewhere in her body and hadn't gone beyond. He tried to look at her but the sight he once again beheld broke his heart. Her eyes were swollen, her lips busted, and traces of dried blood around the corners of her temple. On her neck was a large palm mark. This girl had gone through a lot before her death.

It was unfair that he never wished to have a mate, all the more he was happy when he never met one. Now that he unwillingly met her, it was her carcass that befell him. What an irony!

Tyler grew impatient with his strides, feeling that he wasn't fast and time was continually slipping away from his hold. He broke into a run, enhancing the speed of each foot with the help of his wolf. Nobody else mattered to him. Not his men.

Finally, he got to the shelter and rushed to the empty room that had been created as a sick bay while they were there. He cleared the table with one swoop of his hand across the table, sending everything on it to the ground. He didn't care if they got broken or not. He laid her on the now empty table, making sure that his cloak was properly very her.

“Get me the healers!” he barked.

Once more, Elijah steeped in trying his luck again if Tyler would listen. “I don't know what you're doing, but you can't use the healers. We brought them in case you or one of us gets injured.  We are staying here until tomorrow, and anything could happen. Anything at all. Please, put an end to this nonsense. How do you exactly project using the healers to bring her back to life? Look at her. She's dead,” he fretted in frustration.

“I have to agree with Elijah on this one. You know that healers can't touch the dead or their powers will be sucked. We can't risk ourselves for whom we have no idea about.”

Tyler's face became red with anger. His pulse drummed with intensity. “Don't let me repeat myself, you two. As the Alpha, I command you to go get the healers!”

Sighing in defeat, Elijah stormed out. Viktor followed behind. Tyler placed his steady hands against the cold ones of the girl. She was as cold as ice, stiff like a rock, and he could still feel some kind of energy from her. The energy that heightened his powers. His five senses were so active; touch, smell, taste, sound, and touch.

Shortly, the healers arrived. They were triplets. The most powerful healers in Tyler's pack and the trio they hardly used unless they were leaving the pack because the three were also trained fighters. Combined, their healing powers were unmatched compared to the other two healers that were in the pack. Tyler's pack had a total of five healers, the triplet was mostly subjected to treat the Alpha, who hardly had a use for them.

Their black hair and curvy body dominated the place, announcing their presence. They were a bit tall and could take on at least two men with the level of their strength if attacked. However, each had a unique distinction from the other due to their powers. Besides that, on the outside; physique-wise, you could barely tell them apart. They were dressed in the same outfits and had unique voices but distinct.

They gave a small bow.

“Yes, Alpha Tyler. You sent for us,” the oldest among them, Kaylee, spoke.

Tyler's troubled attention was torn from the girl he had been intensively studying to face them. He stood, moving close to them. “She's hurt. I need you to heal her.” His tone was serious, but his mind was uncertain. He knew that there were so many circumstances surrounding her, but he had to try. Giving up on her wasn't even an option.

“She's dead, Alpha, Tyler. We can't help her,” Katida the second of the triplet answered. She instantly hated the girl laying helplessly on the table for getting Tyler's attention. The man she has always admired.

Katida's once bright smile turned into a hard frown when she saw how worried Tyler was. He was a master at putting up poker or blank expression. Who was the girl that made Tyler worried and uneasy? It couldn't be. Could it? Only one had the power to do so. His mate. Katida couldn't decipher her thoughts, no matter how deep she pressed. She would soon find out.

Happy that the obstacle was out of the way, she flung her straight to her, tucking a few strands behind her ear. “Are you alright, Alpha Tyler?” Her voice was seductive, and she made sure to sway her hips a bit when she tried to step out of line, approaching further close to Tyler's personal space.

The soft rays of the morning sun painted the room in a warm golden hue as Lana cradled her newborn daughter, Kaylida, in her arms. She was a replica of her father, Tyler but had gotten her mother's hair. She was the best gift to the United pack, loved by all.The little one cooed gently, her tiny fingers grasping at the air. Tyler stood beside Lana, his eyes filled with awe and love for the precious gift they had been blessed with.Nine months had passed since Kaylida's arrival, and the family decided to celebrate by going on a picnic. They invited Kamala, to join them. The tranquility of the pack's garden provided the perfect setting for a relaxing day under the azure sky.As they set up their picnic spot, Lana saw the memorial stand nearby. It bore the names of fallen loved ones: Elijah, Kaylee, Katida, and many others. A wave of bittersweet memories washed over her, and she felt compelled to honor their memory.Lana turned to Tyler, her voice filled with emotion. "I'm glad we decid

Several months later...Months have passed with Tyler and his community doing nothing but rebuilding. He had Kamala brought over to join them. The land has brought together several packs focused on making the King's pack unmatchable.Lana agreed to have everything attributed to her past buried as it was a long time. A few times, she heard from Jack and Alpha Raven.Amid the reimagined Pure Crescent pack, a vibrant tapestry of unity and diversity unfolded. The once desolate lands had transformed into a breathtaking haven of life and serenity. As Tyler and Lana strolled together, their footsteps accompanied by the gentle rustling of leaves and the sweet scent of blooming flowers, their eyes beheld the beauty that surrounded them.Fields of wildflowers stretched as far as the eye could see, their colors blending harmoniously, painting the landscape with hues of crimson, gold, and azure. The air was alive with the melodic chorus of birdsong, and the delicate whispers of the wind through t

Afterward, he clasped her against him so tightly, it was to the point of pain. She needed it and wanted him to squeeze her even harder. They had no idea how long they remained like that, hearts thundering together, his hips softly rocking. Hours might have passed. When the now aggressive air began to flog their skin through the open window. "Is there a bathroom here?" Tyler questioned.Lana nodded pointing to the closed door on the left.Tyler didn't pull out. He carried her, with him buried deep in her straight to the bathroom. It was a simple one with a shower head, bathtub, and toilet area which was demarcated by a transparent glass. There was a cabinet with toiletries and towels and a bug full-length mirror.Tyler carried Lana under the showerhead, switching in the water with a free hand. The water from the showerhead began sputtering. Nonchalantly, he gave both of them a rinse without pulling away.Lana giggled, her breathing hoarse. "You do know that we need a proper bath after

Like an addict yearning for her drugs, Lana shuddered as Tyler teased.Once she managed to reach the heavy weight of his cock, he rasped, “Use it.”She rocked her hips up as she pulled his shaft to her. When the head made contact with her pussy, he bit out a curse, his length jerking in her hand. Panting, she ran the crown up and down between her swollen, flaring lips.“So slick,” he growled. “So ready for me.”As she petted her clit with the bulbous tip, his towering body shuddered with need. “Enough teasing. Wanted this too long.”He covered her hand with his own, fitting the crown against her entrance, pressing forward just a fraction. As soon as she knew without any doubt that she was about to have the best moment of her life that has been denied for months, she relaxed. He pulled their hands away, then began easing deeper, wedging the broad head inside. Her gasp was cut off by his lips, hungry and insistent as he sank his cock farther. Each inch forced her to stretch more and mo

The whole place was still in a frenzy as the dead and injured were being carried out. As Lana swayed her hips ahead of Tyler trying to help in whatever way she could, Tyler pulled her aside.Cupping her face with both of his hands, he brushed his thumbs over her cheekbones. “I need you," he whispered against her ears, and his breathing quickened."I need you too," Lana replied. "However, the pack needs us more. We need to put things in place. We have to decide where everyone would settle before we can have our moment," Lana reminded him as she ran her slender fingers through his now lengthy hair. The last thing as having a haircut and trimming his beard has been at the far corner of Tyler's head due to the whole commotion. He burrowed his stare into Lana's eyes, smiling proudly at her. He couldn't believe that he had almost given up such a wonderful soul due to anger. He was beyond glad that they found their way back to each other. With a calm face, he wrapped his hand around Lana's w

As the smoke cleared and the victorious warriors gathered, Lana and Tyler stood on the grand balcony overlooking the battlefield, the weight of their recent triumph heavy on their shoulders. Annik knelt by their side, his eyes reflecting a mix of embarrassment and anger. The gathered wolves, both from the Pure Crescent pack and other clans that had come to their aid, watched with bated breath, their attention fixed on the trio who had emerged triumphant. The wounds of the battle were evident on their bodies, but their spirits burned with newfound hope. With a commanding voice that resonated across the assembled wolves, Tyler spoke, his words carrying the weight of authority and compassion. "Today, we have emerged victorious, not just as separate packs, but as one united force. We have proven that when we stand together, there is no darkness we cannot overcome." A chorus of howls echoed in response, a symbol of unity and agreement from the wolves who had fought valiantly side by side
