38. Target Acquired

Finally, after days of searching, I found her location. I jotted the address on a note, jogged down to the parking garage and grabbed one of the waiting cars. I keyed in the address and sped out onto the highway in pursuit of it.

It led me to a quaint little cottage on the other side of town. I waited in the car, searching for any sign of her. The place looked empty. After all, it was the middle of the day, so she was probably at school, and her parents must be out for the day.

I was about to pull away when something caught my eye. It was a dirtbike that was resting along the side of the garage. It caught my eye because it was nearly an exact replica of the one Darius used to have. I got out of the car and decided to inspect it further.

I couldn't believe it. The two bikes were virtually identical to each other. Only this one had ribbons of orange and purple on it, and Darius' had green and blue.

Since I was already here, I figured that I might as well see if anyone's home. I doubt
