"What?"

His hand on hers tightened; even he could tell that his hold would bruise her, but he didn't care. The beat of his heart, the blood humming in his veins and the dizziness that claimed him all wanted to wipe the smile off her face.

Her wince was slight, but her crimson-stained lips held its annoying smile.

"Looking for a pity fuck from my beta? After I specifically asked you-"

He was so furious that his words came off with a tremble, so he stopped and reconfigured his words so that they did not sound like an angered plea.

"Ruby...have you forgotten who I am?"

He could feel his wolf magnify his sense of betrayal such that even though the Beta's scent was not on her, he believed her filthy words.

"Is everything okay?"

The Beta's concern sounded, and his eyes whirled to the man standing next to his truck; when did he even leave his seat?

"What the hell were you doing with my wife?"

"Oh...we just went to get flowers from the outskirts of Dermont. She didn't like the p

The small green-eyed lump ran straight into my arms from the brown-haired woman holding her as if she were baggage.“Uby!”Elle raises her hands in an ‘up’ motion; it's hard to say no to her, especially when her innocence is plastered on her face."Sally, I presume."I utter as I lift the warm bundle that immediately begins to play with my hair."Ruby?""Yes, I am the one you spoke to on the phone. I’d welcome you in for some tea, but your engine is still running.”She offers a sheepish smile to my statement, and as if that’s not bad enough, I can see luggage in the door she left open."Yes, I am in a bit of a hurry, but you did say I could still see her?"She asks. For all her crying, I never expected that she would try to skip town immediately after signing over her custody of Elle to me."For now, she will be in a boarding school for less than a year, at most ten months. But once everything settles down, then, yes, you can still see her."I answer humouredly.I will not see her aga

"Welcome."I utter again, for the nth time, with a smile. My jaw is tired.I'm used to this, but I must have overdone it when Rebecca's attempts at flirting with the Alpha took longer than ten minutes. The reason why I didn't put her in her place like last time is simple: I have learned my lesson. Her relationship with mother is complicated; she adores Rebecca in the envious sense. If I beat Rebecca at something, she loves me and gossips about her. If Rebecca excels at something more than me, Mother all but throws her a parade, forgetting, if only for a moment, my existence. That is why I loved to keep her close and help her secure more accomplishments pre-Magnolia scandal—it was liberating not having mother hovering over my shoulders.Well...that ship has sailed.Good God, I can't believe I am still sober."Ruby, hi, good to see you."My smile finds its place as I take in the Golden bouffant dress the Queen has on, tying perfectly to the Lycan’s black and gold suit; as always, his ha

She had him.Or she would have, had the woman they met earlier not mentioned her mother."Little to lose...?"He repeated, again fumbling his steps in the dance number that...perhaps five days were not enough to master."I could tell your mother."A part of him readied himself for her reaction; he would hold her in place in case she tried to leave him dancing alone. There were a few times when she reacted strongly, and from what he noticed, most of those times had to do with the mention of her mother or parental responsibility. The first was when Elle’s caregiver hurled insults at the child. She froze, and after a while, her expression turned panicky. The second time was a few minutes ago when she interrupted the woman she introduced as her friend. He typically would have forgotten that, but...he wanted to know more about her.She robbed him of that.He spun her, and the softness of her hair brushed his cheek, leaving a trace of her scent on his skin; he almost shut his eyes to experi

The softness of fabric softener has never felt so soothing in my life.I am used to clothes doused in cologne from the men around me; to say Beta Leon feels refreshing would be an understatement. My arms wrap around his big and burly body, pressing myself deeper into him until he is all I can smell.I wasn't crying. At least not anymore. His shirt holds evidence of my existence in the tear stain shape, the smeared makeup and... well, my snot."I'm sorry."I offer."I don't think you should apologise for being sad."He responds, and I almost laugh; I should have said that to Elle."What in God's name do you think you are doing?"My heart’s race from my chest causes my hand to fly between my breasts; for a moment, I thought my heart had left my skin.I hadn't sensed him, I didn't smell the ocean, and there was no sign that the Alpha was close or-"Get your hands off my wife."Upset.Then again, still, oceans are more dangerous than rowdy ones.**Adrian M. After the outfit change, the Alpha and I did not speak to each other, merely maintained friendly conversations with anyone else."Are you okay?"Alba asks as I place my water on the table; I am tired of feeling depressed yet surprisingly hydrated.“Why do I feel like that is a trick question?”“Trick, how?”She retorts."My answer always borders on ‘of course’, but since you witnessed what happened before, you will not believe my answer.” “And will you blame me for your lack of believability?”She asks, and I smile tiredly.“Of course not. But my next question will be, what do you want from me, Alba.”“A reaction.”“To what?”I ask with a dry laugh.“What am I reacting to?”“Ruby, your husband left you when you were vulnerable at the ball to save another woman, and now you try to save him from the retribution he would have gotten from fighting his Beta? Hi! That’s a wrap for ‘The Alpha’s Ruby Obsession’; it has been the wildest ride yet. On matters pertaining to bonuses, they will not always be guaranteed a happy ending or to give a sense of closure. Additionally, going forward, not all stories will have bonuses. On to the main matter: I want a light book for my next project, something that doesn’t make me teary while writing and also, I want to leave the woods for the big city for a while, so I thought, why not get high blood pressure and delve into the world of greedy mother-in-laws and audacious husbands in My next book, a billionaire romance, ‘Trillionaire After Divorce’. It should be out by January if all factors are cooperative; it will not be as tragic as this one, but it will still have some darkness...and tons of romantic angst. I’ll tell you this in advance: be ready to throw hands at audacities! As usual, it will be 18+; whatever will I do without smut? As always, thank you for reading, and hopefully, I will see you in

** Ruby. "Last step. Just jump. I will catch you." I whisper to Elle, who throws her little arms around my shoulders as she takes her leap of faith gracefully. "Good girl." I praise her quickly before placing her on the ground and holding her hand so we can run across the empty street. It was not in any of my plans to use the window at one a.m., essentially alerting my little sister, Elle, of something going wrong, but I had no choice; Dominic had his men surround my apartment, so if I stayed, I would be forced to sleep with men, now that I have been injected contraceptives on his coin already. After helping Elle in the car waiting for us, I hop in the passenger seat before Wanda drives off. “Thanks, Wanda.” I utter finally as we enter the main road. “Baby, this is stupid; you know Dom will never let you go.” "He will if you seduce him for me. " I utter softly, and her light and refreshing laugh lighten the mood in the car. “Open the glove box.” I do as she asks, but insi

Adrian "That's the girl." Adrian's gaze lifted in the direction his friend pointed. "The number one of business school." It didn't irk him as much as Leon, his best friend, meant for it to; after all, numbers meant nothing to him unless they were in the form of currency and had never found a soul wealthier than his family, even in the university. In fact, it didn't matter so much that he wanted to walk to her and invite her to his group, scholarship or not; she earned the right to associate with him, at least within the confines of the school. "Tell her to join us. No, tell her that she can be sitting with us instead of alone." He ushered Elaine; she was something of a kid sister to him. "What? Why? She is poor; I highly doubt that she can purchase from our section; you’ll just make her feel bad." "She stole my spot in the school, so I want everyone to know she earned the right to sit with us. Plus, we can buy her food if she can’t afford it." The notion made little sense to

The last Chapter of the Bonus will be tomorrow. ** “I didn’t ask you to protect me! I wasn’t in danger.” His sneer rises, and I wince, anticipating another slap, but instead, he clicks his tongue. “You will need to visit a family planning establishment to get your affairs in order; if you are going to start taking in men, then-” “I will get you the money!” “By tomorrow? Because your debt just went up by eight hundred thousand.” “I didn’t ask you to interrupt. Don’t give the refund let me go out there and-.” Dominic’s hand rises, and I flinch before the sound of his tongue clicking against the roof of his mouth echoes once again. “I will give you the day off tomorrow, but Maurice will escort you to the family planning centre. I’ll show you an easy way to pay me back if you are in such a rush to escape me. Now, take that coat off. You look stupid wearing it.” "Will I look more dignified to the men you intend to whore me out to?" Dominic winces, but his expression does not soft

Hi! Quick disclaimer: The bonus stories are not guaranteed a happy or ‘closure-inducing’ ending. Please read at your own risk. Adrian’s hands waste no time lowering to my ass to part my flesh apart. "You are not permitted to touch-" “‘Touch the stripper’? I know, but can't you take it as me making your work easier? I am doing you a favour.” “I highly doubt a yeast infection counts as a favour. Either lower your pants because your boxers are certainly cleaner to press against, or let me do my dance in peace.” His hot breath coats my ear as he chuckles. His hands leave my ass to fiddle with his belt and lower his zip, but mother of Christ, why are his knuckles grazing against my centre while he does this? I am certain I have lifted my hips enough for there to be no contact between us. The feel of his fingers hooking upward tells me that his actions are on purpose. But before I can protest, his fingers leave my centre, and instead, his hips thrust upwards on my bare and sensitive

“Hand me the tape, Joy.” I ask as I hold the last box in place before the garments pop out. “Just a second! Elle, don’t run with scissors!” Elle’s laughter sounds across the hall, making it exceedingly clear that there will be no assistance any time soon. With a sigh, I consider letting the box’s contents explode open, but in the nick of time, a tape gun is pressed on my shoulder. “Oh, thank God. Tape it for me; my arms are holding… the box…closed.” I drawl as surprise takes over my body, causing my grip on the box to lessen such that its contents spill out. “...Adrian?” I call as I stand, ignoring the mess I made. "So, you were going to leave." He utters as if he were merely seeking my confirmation on the matter. "Adrian.” I call with a sigh before looking for the best choice of words. “What are you doing here? We talked about-" "You were going to abandon me again?" The loudness in his voice jostles me. There is a certainty in which he asks his question that leaves me

Ruby M. Clive ‘This was fun.’ The words play again in my mind before the fatigue I convinced myself was the sex finds me. "Fun." I toy with the word again before looking at my reflection in the mirror. The makeup hid the puffiness of my face well, but the redness remained regardless of the amount of concealer used. My legs feel weak, so I let my flesh crumble to the ground as more tears overcome me. I hate how easily I cry these days, but more than that, I hate the delight that found me when his wolf recognised me. He fell asleep with his length inside me, and I couldn’t pull it out; even now, I can still feel his shape inside me. My gaze lingers on the gauze on my hand; beneath it lies his teeth marks that ooze the scent of the ocean despite the amount of time I rinsed the wound. I don’t get it; no one has ever recalled the past in my presence before, so how could he? It makes sense for his wolf to remember me; we were mates, but not him, his hatred for Clives should prevent

A groan found Adrian’s lips with ease when his hands stroking the space next to him confirmed that it was cold, meaning she had left quite a while ago.His canines tasted of blood; did he bite himself?“Fuck! That’s so embarrassing!”He cursed, recalling how desperately he begged her to tell him who the man she loved was and how easily she drew a line with him. He didn't want to wake up; the bed wasn’t even his, but he didn’t want to leave it because the moment he did, he would have to face the consequences of the deal they had made—never seeing her again. But was the deal still in effect if she wasn’t there like she promised to be?"Oh, you are up-"Ruby said as the bathroom door opened, and he took in her glowing sight that was emphasised by the steam from the hot shower. She looked fresh and clean but also dressed up. She had on her robe and a full face of makeup, all while her hair remained wrap

Adrian watched Ruby’s flesh devour his hard shaft slowly; she only used her hands to steady his length inside her.If he were any more dazed, he would shove himself inside her, but she was far too tight for such an act not to cause her discomfort, so his teeth found his lip in search of patience before he spoke.“Are you okay?”He asked when the shadow of a wince crossed her face; his member wasn’t even halfway through. It was quite the awkward question to ask, considering that he was her source of discomfort, so while a part of him prayed that she wouldn’t back out, the other prepared for what felt inevitable.“Yes…yes, I just need a moment.”She uttered.“Are you sure? We could stop-”“I am certain.”She said with a laugh that once again undid him; how did she do that? How did she captivate him with such ease? His eyes fell on her large breasts that seemed to spill on her chest before returning to her eyes.Who was he?Who was the one man who had seen her in this way?He was clearly
