"You are... Sir Orcenal... Silverlane...?"
In the sky, Cecilia froze. Ethan sensed an abnormality in his sister and wanted to ask, but Cecilia suddenly cued her Alpha Wyvern to leave.
Ethan didn't understand. "What...? Why are we leaving? We can... still..."
"No."
Cecilia shook her head. She looked at the silver-haired man's angry expression and firmly refused. The Alpha Wyvern flew up to the sky through the layers of clouds.
They disappeared as fast as they appeared.
On the ground, Orcenal Silverlane turned to Harriet. His flat face was familiar, and his eyes narrowed. "What were you thinking, Little Lady?"
Harriet laughed in excitement. "Sir Silverlane!"
Now she was sure that the invisible barrier that protected her earlier was his doing. She jumped down her guard wolf's back and walked fast to him.
[20 years ago]"She's not my daughter, right?" Orcenal asked seriously. When he passed the hallway, he saw the little girl walking by with perfect posture, bowing her body toward him.He couldn't help but wonder..."She's not," Helena said, not even glancing at him from the paper she reviewed."Then whose child is she?" he asked again."Not yours," Helena answered flatly.Orcenal clicked his tongue. He tried to calm himself, and he managed to do so. "You... plan to never tell her who her father was?""It doesn't matter," Helena said coldly."It does."Orcenal stared sharply at Helena, and finally, that woman turned to him."She wouldn't need her father to become the Empress," Helena said flatly.Orcenal closed his eyes. "You know you are a monster, right?"
[Who's that man...?]"LIAM!"KIEEEEK!Liam turned back as he heard his grandfather call at him. He dodged one of the Wyvern's attacks. The next moment, he jumped high and landed on top of another Wyvern. He then proceeded to rip its head off.GRRRAAAARRR!!!Liam stopped for a bit. He tried to see what happened next from Harriet's eyes without getting distracted."What happened?" his Grandfather shouted, jumping down from the top of the fort wall. He could hear Liam suddenly shouting Harriet's name.Warf![She's fine. She's fine.] Liam said like he was reassuring himself. He felt his chest constricting. It was hard to breathe, harder to move. He just stood there, paralyzed."Liam?" his Grandfather called out again. But the giant white wolf didn't answer.[I was wrong, I shouldn
The night sky on the eastern coastline was flickering with light. The seawater sparkled, and the waves crashed against the shore with a loud sound. The wind blew strongly, making the white sand on the beach move with a dancing rhythm."ARCHERS!"Ezekiel screamed at the top of his lungs. He had already lost count of how many times he yelled that word. The Wyverns had no end. Their numbers were too big for the <Aura Archers> to handle.Euclase's soldiers fought bravely, invading the enemy's ships and killing their enemies. Different from the previous war, where they fought farmers and civilians, now they were fighting real soldiers.Their strategy was simple. They would destroy all the ships in the fleet before they could reach Euclase shores, then they would consider it a victory.Since the second wave came after the first got surrounded, Ezekiel decided
Silence.Ezra looked at Heinrich's soothing and serious face, knowing that he was only worried about her. But she refused to answer him. "You should focus on the war. Go.""I'm sending my army to your husband as we speak," Heinrich seriously pestered. "I want you to tell me what you are worried about, or I won't leave. Did you see your own face? It's like your face is saying that tomorrow will be the apocalypse."Heinrich was worried because he knew how Ezra knew something no one else knew. She had repeated her own life 7 times, and he never saw her this afraid.Ezra looked up at him, didn't know what to say. But then, she gave up. If it was Heinrich... then she could say it."I'm... pregnant..."The second Ezra said that word. Heinrich lost his breath.Ezra looked up at him, seeing his eyes widen and witnessing the man's world change rig
[1 week ago]"Mirai!"A middle-aged woman tried her best to chase a red-haired young man. "Mirai, stop!"But the young man didn't hear or care about his mother as he continued walking away. He ignored her shouts. His hair was messy with sand, but it was still beautiful like an angel had landed on earth in human form. The young man wore simple black pants, leather boots, and a white scarf covering his chest. This castle was far from empty; soldiers and servants went about their daily tasks. Then, finally, he stopped at the base of the stairs leading up to the main hall, where his mother caught up to him."Where are you going, Mirai?! What are you going to do?!" the middle-aged woman shouted. The young man turned around slowly. "Stop yelling."His mother's mouth opened wide in shock, but he didn't even notice. "You're m
NEW BATCH OF WYVERNS!WATCH OUT!The beach slowly fell into chaos. The soldiers on the shoreline were shouting and screaming as they tried to get away from the approaching monsters, while those that hadn't made it out yet were scrambling to find something to fight them with."MAGES!"Heinrich screamed, calling out to his personal army. He was right to choose this place to defend because he could not convince the other world leaders to help with the war on the Euclase. While Axias himself was focusing on defending the other points of the Continent's Eastern Shore, he spread his army to so many parts that he left his only son to protect against the enemy's main army. After the last war, Euclase was in a constant crisis. Axias trained more men and grew his army, but at the same time, he didn't spare anything for his own son. He was such a strict father...
"You came."Axias talked to a very familiar middle-aged man standing on top of the deck of his magnificent fleet. He was his brother, the Grand Duke of Euclase."How could I not?" the man said, smiling. "As a man in charge of the Empire's maritime military, it's the only thing I must do."He looked up at the clear, dark sky and laughed loudly as if he'd been waiting for this moment forever. "You, too, don't have a choice except to receive my help, right?"Axias rolled his eyes, but he also smiled. If this man didn't have his back, he would never be able to dispatch his army only to the east of the continent."Don't worry about the west. Most West Continent's powerhouses had reached an agreement to not attack us, and they told me, specifically," Eoin said."Because you spent most of your life in the western seas... right?" Axias asked."No
The sun rose, but the sky still glowed red. The morning air carried the scent of smoke. A battle had been raging in the night.A group of soldiers ran across the beach. They wore armor, and some held shields, but most carried spears. Their faces were dirty, and their hair was messed up.Some of them stopped, breathing heavily. They stared at the horizon."We're lucky the Wyverns didn't come here... I heard they attacked the North and the Crown Prince's Army...""Yeah. But still..."The Army from Serpentes had successfully invaded the beach of Padparadscha. But it would be hard for them to invade further. Padparadscha had hired mercenaries and dispatched all of their <Aura Masters> to the war.Not to mention, their Duke and their Young Lord had also led them himself."Don't worry. If even Young Lord Mirai and the two Young Masters ar
