Harriet sat awkwardly on the single sofa and felt uncomfortable letting Liam stand on the left side behind her. She didn't like the thought of Liam having to stand motionless for a long time.

"How about I just stand?" asked Harriet cheerfully.

Harriet shook her head. "I want to look tall, so you sit down."
