But still, when the f*** did that idiot turn into a detective? I had that thoughts running through my head but never uttered any of them. I do appreciate their efforts and according to what Daciana had said I'm pretty lucky to have friends as good as this.

Letting out a tired side escape from my lips, I dived my hand into my hair, roughing it thoughtfully. “What the hell is happening to this pack?” I said in a whisper. Caddel stared at me, looking confused about what next to say.

I know he wants to put a smile on my face, but with the current situation going around, I just can't think straight.

“I'm not bothered about the throne anymore. For all I care, she can have it. But I don't want this pack to go into jeopardy. I have sacrificed so much and done so much for this pack to go extinct just because of that lady. I need to look
