* Dorian's POV *

" I also have no idea, they're probably just trying to pick a fight for absolutely nothing but we're always ready for war and we're going to give them what they want " Elder Sebastian replied.

" Unless an enemy of ours promised to pay them heavily if they win a war against us since no one has ever done that but it's so foolish of them, " Elder Akanksha said.

" But seriously why would they start a war against us when they know we've never lost in a war before? "Another Elder, Elder Albeit asked.

" They probably think they have what it takes " Kaden scoffed.

All this while, I was listening but never said a word as Adalwolf kept saying weird things in my head that made sense to me.

" It's her. It's her. It's her " It kept repeating.

" Adalwolf! Stop! " I cautioned in my head as I felt my eyes twitching.

" You shut up! It's all your fault! Now, she's going to make thousands of innocent people die for your mistakes! "

" It's not a fvcking mistake! I did the right thing! " I said out loud before I could stop myself and they all stopped their discussion to turn to me.

" You still won't acknowledge your mistake! Now we're all going to pay for your sins! " It says before going off.

" Alpha Dorian, are you okay? " Elder Sebastian asked as I tried twitching my eyes to its originatheirolor.

" I'm fine, you all can leave except you two," I said and then shut my eyes, placing my head on the table and they all exit the room as ordered while Caddel and Kaden waited behind.

" Are you okay? " Caddel asked softly, patting my hair gently.

" Do you want me to get Ashina? " Kaden added.

Ashina is the one to always tame me to calm down whenever my eyes twitching starts.

" No, I'm fine, " I said and forcefully switched my eyes opened and it was back to normal.

" You care to tell us what usually causes this? " Caddel asked still maintaining that soft voice.

" It's nothing, " I said, my raspy voice coming out firmly.

Kaden sighed lightly, knowing I wouldn't open up to them as usual.

" So, we should ask Luna Daciana why she stopped the war on our behalf. I mean that's like a blow to our face " Kaden said and Caddel nodded in support.

" Yeah, we should do that, " I said.

" But before then, I have to see someone. " I continued. " Alone " I completed.

" Alright then, we shall excuse you then, " Caddel said and with that, they both exited the room we were in.

Some seconds later, he appeared before me, sitting on the chair opposite mine, looking as old and wriggling as ever.

" His Highness requested to see me? " He asked tho it wasn't necessary.

" Is there a way you can stop Adalwolf from having this weird feeling ing?" I said, going straight to the point and he only chuckled lightly.

" You know that's not possible My Lord," He said, playing with weirdly long fingers.

" But I want you to get rid of them! Hisgetds weirdly gets to my head! " I snapped.

"'cause he's right " The old monk replied.

" So, she is planning things? " I asked confusedly.

" I can't assure that but if that's what Adalwolf is feeling, then that's it, " He said and I sighed frustratedly.

" What does she want with me? " I muttered.

" She's dead! " He dropped the bombshell and I snapped my eyes to him at once with widened eyes.

" S.. she.. "

" You caused her death! " He said.

" H.. how. I.. "

" She has a cruel fate, Alpha Dorian. You caused her death and that's the truth. Seems someone's taking revenge for her, not just someone. someone powerful " He said and with that disappeared into the thin air before I could tell him to wait.

" I'm always right Dorian, I hope you always believed me and this wouldn't have opened, " Adalwolf said in my head and I shut him down once again.

" It's not clear my fault, is it? I was just a kid " I mumbled under my breath.

" You two get Luna Daciana here " I mind-linked them.

Some minutes later, the door opened widely and Luna Daciana appeared in her usual long robe sweeping her feet as usual with Caddel and Kaden behind her, but this time around her guard wasn't with her, making me wonder where he was.

" You have been requesting my attention lately this day making me wonder if we're friends," She said as she sat on the seat opposite mine, the same seat the old monk had sat in.

I don't if she felt an aura on the seat as she glanced at me weirdly before sitting anyways.

I smiled lightly at her earlier question. " Of course, we're friends Luna Daciana, you're my guest which makes us friends, I definitely can't be your enemy " I responded.

" You can't be so sure," She said and something in me made me feel she meant that and I guess that something was Adalwolf.

Could he stop reading weird meanings to everything? Except for the fact that he's always right and accurate.

" We heard from a spy of us at the neighboring kingdom who was about to start a war with us that you had them withdraw easily with a threat? " I questioned at once, going straight to the point.

" And is this your way of appreciating me? By interrogating me? " She asked flatly, confirming our doubts.

" It was you? " I asked unbelievably.

" You're welcome " She replied with a tiny scoff through her masked face.
