I shook my head as I heard the secretary of the Hunter Corporation repeating the same words she had been saying for the past week. This was bullshit, crap!

I'm not a child to be tossed around like a two-year-old being promised candy. This was business. I understand they're at the top and all, but on a more professional level, it is more preferable to either tell the other party—namely, me—that they don't want to collaborate, rather than stringing me along like a toy.

The other day, my team waited for an hour, only to be told the CEO had just concluded a meeting and needed to rest. If it wasn't that, she needed to eat. I'm done with these humans.
