Chapter 113: Helping Out

I watched as they left, until they were out of my sight. I had stopped eating the fruit in front of me as I was still nervous especially since Aria had refused to stop playing. She was enjoying herself no doubt but she seemed not to have paid attention to any of my conversations with Alpha Abbadon. Otherwise if she had, she would have heard my promise to Alpha Abbadon to protect us while here from danger.

"Stop playing!" I whispered between my teeth. The coast was still not totally clear. Some Beta's had been left behind to help cook the fish and I was certain they were now looking at me curiously. My new found ability to protect them must surely be of interest to them.

Luckily for me, Aria heard me once and stopped playing, as she could tell from my facial expression I was nervous.

"Did you listen to any of my conversations with Alpha Abbadon?" I asked her, still whispering as she flew closer to my face.
