Chapter 133

Stella's pov

I opened my eyes, squinting a bit as the sunlight poured into my eyes. I sat up and looked around, there were vibrant trees around me and the air smelled like summer. The air was warm but the cool breeze that floated amongst the trees was soothing.

The trees were massive and expansive, forming a massive canopy and hiding away a good portion of the sky. I found myself smiling, an expression that felt foreign on my face. When was the last time I smiled?

I couldn't remember but what I did remember was the reason I didn't, my father. I suddenly seem to remember all that had happened and how I was supposed to be assassinating an innocent girl.

The atmosphere under the shade suddenly turned stale and the air smelled of misery. I sighed, I had no choice, I had to do it,... for my father.
