One : Cailly Stryder

Driving as fast as I can feels like a race. The only difference is I'm not racing with another car but escaping a huge brown wolf. I groaned in irritation as I stepped on the gas. I drove to the other side of the road. The road surrounded by trees. Making a clean u-turn, I faced the wolf.

It growled at me but I just smirked. I hit the gas pedal. "Sorry baby!" I muttered to my car. I just bought this beauty a week ago. I frowned as I hit the gas and faced the wolf running towards me. I closed my eyes and hid my head under the steering wheel whilst holding tightly.

The wolf jumped above the hood leaving a big dent on it. Great! I pulled the reverse making the wolf fall back to the road and once again, I hit the gas pedal. I hit the wolf hard enough for it to fly a few meters away. I drove past the wolf and after awhile looked at side mirror only to see it running towards me, again. "Fuck!" I cursed under my breath.

The wolf after me brought back up, not just one but five. "Great! Just great!" I muttered, annoyed.

I'm about to hit the road again when suddenly five wolves blocked my way. I stepped on the breaks. "What the hell is wrong with this rogues?!" I spat frustrated. I stepped out of my car when two wolves lunged at me. "What the--" I jumped to my hood and also left a dent. I groaned when I saw the dent. "My lovely car."

I glared at them and they lunged at me again, I put my guard up while my senses are on high alert. I grabbed the nearest wolf's neck and flipped it sideways then I heard the sickening crack of bones. Another wolf jumped on me, digging his claws to my shoulder. I hissed grabbing his hind leg and threw him at the nearest tree. A loud thud sounded in my ear, the wolf was left unconscious in his human form. I smirked.

I turn to look at the remaining wolves. "What do you want?!" I spat, irritation plastered on my face.

"We want you dead so we can get our loot." The bigger wolf stepped forward as he shifted in his human form and spoke. Thank god he's not naked.

"Who sent you? Who the hell wants me dead?" I asked raising my brows at the wolf.

"I don't need to answer you, I just want you dead." He said annoyed. And as if on cue, five wolves ran towards me. I groaned.

I closed my fist and hit the first wolf on his jaw making him fly a few meters away. Another wolf came and pounded me. I ducked and grabbed his foreleg and threw him on the other side.

"Bastards! She's just a girl you morons! Kill her!" The man yelled at the remaining wolves. The wolves lunged themselves at me. I jumped in the air, shifting to my wolf. I heard the familiar sound of bones cracking, flesh ripping, and skin dissolving. White silvery fur came into view.

I grabbed the neck of one of the wolf using my muzzle, breaking it as I kicked on the wolf who jumped on top of me. He flew in the air and I released the dead wolf in my mouth just to get rid of the wolf biting my hind leg, smashing it to my car, he yelped in pain and released my leg.

I took the chance to bury my claws in his stomach, leaving him dead. Another wolf bit my shoulder making me wince. I snarled at him and flipped just to free myself. I succeeded and bit his foreleg, breaking the bones. He whimpered and without wasting time, I bit into his neck to end him.

Nine rogues scattered on the ground all not moving and only one man left standing. I shook off my fur, blood draining on my mouth. My white silvery fur is now covered in blood, mine and from the rogues.dead rogues.

His face showed shock and horror. I shifted into my human form. "Now, Are you going to tell me who sent you to kill me?" I spat gritting my teeth.

He regained his composure and smirked. "No. I'd rather be dead." he spat. "As you wish." I said and in a blink I was standing in front of him, gripping his neck and snapped it in one raw motion. Leaving his body on the road. I let out a loud howl just to release my irritations.

I walked back to my car just to see it a total wreck. Once again I groaned. Uncle Ben will freak out. That's for sure. I hopped in and once again hit the road.

Once I reached the driveway, a worried look on my uncle's face flashed and I sighed heavily, thinking of what to say.

I stepped out of my car only to be greeted by a worried look on my uncle's face. Thanks to inhumane speed, he's in front of me in a matter of seconds. He checked my face and my shoulders. When he saw the claw marks he burst.

"Who the hell did this to you?!" He yelled.

"Uh-uhm rogues?" I said but it was more of a question.

"Rogues! Why the hell would Rogues attack you? Wait. Rogues? As in Rogues?!" He asked emphasizing the 's'. "How many are they?!" He yelled frantically.

"Uhm ten?" I said but it was more of a question again.

"Ten! What the fuck?! Ten rogues attacked you! Oh hell!" He exclaimed, getting furious.

I held his shoulder. "It's fine uncle. It's fine. I'm fine. A few bruises here and there but I'm still alive." I muttered, rolling my eyes. He's over reacting again.

"And what is fine with that! Cailly, you could've died! Ten rogues! I'm going to kill them!" He said while he close his fist and his knuckles turned white.

"Oh! No need to worry, I fended them off. I left no one breathing." I said, proud of myself. He became shocked. I raised my brow at him. "You thought me well, Ben." I rolled my eyes at him and he grinned. "Sure, I did great." He said grinning even more. I rolled my eyes at him. Bipolar people are so weird.

"You hungry? Sure you are." He lead me inside the house.

Since my parents died, I chose to live here with uncle Ben, my mother's brother while Sam, my brother took the Alpha position in our pack.

Staying here for ten years was amazing, They treated me like a princess, Giving me all I want. But I'm not a spoiled brat because I used to work on my own since I graduated college three months ago, now I am working in a top architecture company as the company director. Got that position since Uncle Ben owns the company.

We reached the kitchen and he made a beeline to get boxes of juice and anything he would need. I grabbed an apple from the fruit basket and took a bite.

"I'll make dinner for us, I bet you want to take shower. You smell." He teased, scrunching his nose for effects. I frowned, rolling my eyes. "Right." I stood up on my seat and walked out of the kitchen and went to my room.

As I reached my room, I closed my door and stripped off my clothes. Once I was fully naked I went to my bathroom. I turned on the shower and hopped inside. I relaxed under the warm water while I rinsed myself of dirt. "Heaven." I breathed out.

The event earlier replayed on my mind.

"We want you dead so we can get our loot!" The man said.

"Who wants us dead?" Aleck, my wolf asked in my head.

"I don't know. Do you have an Idea?"

"How will I know, I am just your beast." She smirked and I rolled my eyes at her.

"We need to know who--" I was cut by the knock on my bedroom door.

"Cailly, dinner is ready!" Uncle Ben shouted then I heard his footsteps padding away. I sighed heavily.

"We'll find it out." Aleck said before settling herself at the back of my mind. I nodded my head to agree with her.

I left the bathroom and went inside my walk in closet to find a nice comfy outfit for the night. I grabbed a pair of baggy pants and a tank top together with my undergarments. I wore it in a snap. I checked myself on the large mirror on my closet and smirked. "Better." I walked out of my room going downstairs to see my Uncle seating on one of the stool on the kitchen table.

Taking a seat across of him, I snatched the sandwich that was placed on my plate. I took a big chunk of it then I grabbed my phone, it was ringing. I checked the ID Caller. "Sam." Knotting my forehead, I lifted my gaze to Uncle Ben who was busy munching his own sandwich.

"Did you tell Sam about what happened?" I asked confused.

He shook his head. My brows furrowed even more. Answering the call.

"Hey!" I greeted him.

"Cai!" Sam's voice boomed loudly. I distanced my phone from my ear.

"Hey, Slow down. You're going to blow my eardrums out." I frowned while he chuckled.

"Hey Cai." He said, now more calmly but the excitement in his voice couldn't be hid.

"What's up?"

"I want to you to come home." He beamed excitedly.

"Why?" I asked him.

"I want you to meet someone. I found my mate! I want you to meet her!" He exclaimed excitedly, his voice letting me know how happy he is. I grinned.

"Oh. She didn't rejected you yet. Yea?" I teased, he gasped loudly.

"Don't come. I changed my mind! You might give her that idea! I won't let you!" He exclaimed, I burst into laughter.

"Oh! Sorry brother. I'm coming and yeah, I'm gonna give her that idea!" I teased even more. He became silent once again.

"No! No! We're fine here. Just stay there!" He protested. Once again I laughed loudly.

"I am just kidding Sam! I am coming. I'll be glad to meet your mate." I heard him sigh in relief.

"I know you Cai. You do what you say. Like you remember one of your classmate back in your preschool? 'I'm gonna kick that ass butt' then the next day, you really kicked his butt. Imagine you were just eight that time. And remember when you were in your senior year, uncle told me you--" I rolled my eyes and cut his word.

"Yeah! Yeah! I do remember that. But I am just joking around you. I'd love to meet my luna, you know. And sister-in-law." I grinned, I can already see his full blown smile on my mind, shaking my head.

"I'd love to see you too! Finally I convince you to come. I should've found her years ago." He exclaimed.

"I'll be there by tomorrow, so cut the drama. Okay? Bye."

"Sure thing. I missed you baby girl." I rolled my eyes. "You too big brother."

We bid our goodbyes and ended the call.

I turn to look at my uncle who is smiling goofy at me. "I think you should pack your things now and get some rest." He suggested. I jump to my seat just to give him a tight hug before running towards my room. Pulling out my luggage, I started throwing my clothes and stuff.

Once I was done, I threw myself on my bed and crawled on top of it. "I'm gonna miss you pillow, you too blanket." I said.

"Crazy." Aleck spat, laughing at my head. I huffed and drift to sleep.
