Surprisingly all the maids and guards are gathered in the sitting room. Their eyes dart towards me and Richard's direction as we make our way towards them.
The guards rush to help me with my luggage. I mutter a word of gratitude to them. An awkward silence befalls all the servants, just at the sight of Richard's presence.
My eyes scan through the familiar and unfamiliar faces, hoping that I might see Brandon but I do not catch a glimpse of him. I sigh in disappointment. My eyes accidentally land on Ella. She shakes her head at me in what looks like disappointment.
I ignore her stare and watch Richard address the servants. He clears his throat and goes ahead to say. "Everyone, we are all aware of the war at hand, is that correct?" His voice is authoritative and his presence is commanding.
The servants in the pack nod their heads and all chorus loudly "Yes Sir."

Laura's POVI step into the room. My jaw drops and a small gasp escapes from my lips. I stare in awe at how big the room is, it is just like my room back at Alpha Victor's pack house but I think I like this one better, at least I feel safer.I walk towards the queen-sized bed and throw myself carelessly on it. I shut my eyes for a brief moment and imagine Brandon when he was fighting the guards in the van earlier today. I'm not going to lie, he looked handsome and he is so strong.
