Makahi: POV
"So we need to increase our men at the borders, send two scouts to do recon in the area Alpha Terrain told us about, and we’ll be on a soft lock down for now. All women and children will have one hour a day outside, with at least two of our men monitoring them. Make sure they stay away from the wooded areas for now." I reviewed the new safety guidelines to Montego as we were planning and scheduling how to best handle these rogue wolves. It was obvious that they had banded together to attack several packs. The other alphas sounded pissed and unsettled by how organized their attacks were. They seem to have a leader controlling them. So, I wasn’t going to take this new threat lightly. A brief knock on the door interrupted us for a moment, “Enter." I said still looking at the map on my desk trying to figure out the best position to put our men. We need them to cover the entire pack land and borders. Hunter and Shadow enters my office and waited for me to acknowledge them. Looking up at them, Shadow looks a little off, but Hunter was all smiles. "Have they arrived yet?" I asked no one in particular. "Yes, they arrived a little while ago. Luna took them to the last house out west like you instructed. We deposited their things and left Luna with them." Hunter said still smiling. Raising my brow curious as to what he found amusing. "Care to share what has you in a good mood." I asked Hunter.
"Well alpha the human women our Luna invited seems...... nice." He said trying to search for the right words. I hear Shadow give a low growl at Hunter’s description of the human women. I glanced at him a little surprised at his response. “Shadow is there a problem." I asked trying to gauge his reaction. Shadow stepped forward to answer my question. But I didn’t hear a word he said because I caught the most delicious scent that I have ever smelt. I couldn’t make out what the scent was, but my wolf immediately tried to push forward, trying to get closer to that smell. Which I refused because I wasn’t about to sniff Shadow. "Alpha is something wrong? Did you hear what I said?" Shadow asked. I immediately snapped back into alpha mode again. "No, say again." I answered. Shadow eyed me strangely but repeated himself.
"I said I think it was a bad idea, allowing the human women to stay here. Maybe you can speak to our Luna to see if she will reconsider. They are mouthy and tiny, I'm afraid some of our females will hurt them." Shadow said in a rush, he looked nervous and a bit pale, which was odd to say the least. Hunter stepped forward as well. I smelt something sweet, but not like what I smelt on Shadow. I don't know why my wolf is clawing at me trying to get closer to wherever that smell was coming from. "Will you chill the hell out Maka." I said to my wolf. He growled and responded. "OUT NOW!" "You think I'm going to let you out so you can sniff Shadow? Are you nuts? Just let me find out what's going on with these humans, and I promise you we will find out where that smell is coming from." I said as a compromise. “Find!” Maka replied and then settled down. I could still feel him on the surface ready to come out. Hunter and Shadow were arguing about the human women, I can tell they are already a problem. "ENOUGH!" I growled and both men immediately stopped their debate. Looking at Hunter, I nodded for him to speak.
"Alpha, I think Shadow is overreacting, he's angry because our Luna had to scold him for growling at one of the women." Hunter said smirking at Shadow. "WHAT THE Hell SHADOW? I TOLD YOU NO WOLF STUFF IN FRONT OF THE HUMAN WOMEN. ARE YOU TRYING TO EXPOSE THIS ENTIRE PACK TO THE WORLD?" I yelled using my alpha aura. Shadow immediately bared his neck to me in submission. "No alpha, I don't know what happen, the little one with the long hair and round cheeks just rubs me the wrong way. I don't know why." Shadow said helplessly. He looked completely confused as hell. I let go of my alpha aura and he immediately stood at attention. I frowned as I thought about it, I looked at Shadow when I remembered. "Shadow weren't you supposed to be at the front entrance tonight?" I asked and his face immediately showed his guilt. Hunter started laughing. I looked at him, waiting for the joke.
"Well alpha, me and Blaze were helping the humans with their luggage. Blaze was getting the suitcases out when one of them walked up to him smiling, thanking him for his help. Shadow came outta now where and said that you wanted him to man the front gates tonight." Hunter finished with a smirk. I Looked at Shadow who was standing stock still not looking at Hunter. "Explain?" I asked Shadow, his face held guilt. I was starting to think that maybe it was a bad idea to bring them here; they have my best warriors all messed up after just one encounter. "I was just trying to keep their exposure to our warriors at a minimum. I don't want them to have to deal with them unnecessarily." Shadow replied. Which was a good excuse, it was complete bullshit, but I wouldn't drag him through the coal for it. He already looked like he's been in a wolf fight and lost. Besides, I needed to ask him about the wolf that had that delicious smell.
"Hunter you're dismissed, Shadow stay behind for a second, I have some questions for you." I said sitting back in my chair. I gestured for Shadow to have a seat next to Montego. I just notice that he hasn’t spoken at all during the entire debriefing. "Shadow besides the humans, who else did you come in contact with? Any other female wolves from another pack? I asked, trying to make it seem like a general question. "Uh, only the caters your mother hired from the Mombasa pack. Why do you ask? " He asked, a little confused by the question. "I just wanted to make sure I know all the females that may come in contact with the human women tonight. You said you don't think that they will get along with our females, so we need to make sure that we control the situation." I said absent-mindedly, he nodded accepting my excuse, even though that was complete bullshit. Looking at Montego the smirk on his face said that he saw through my excuse, because he looked at me with a raised brow.
"You may go and get ready for my mother's mating anniversary. When you get there, please let her know I will be there as soon as I'm done here." I said looking back down at my map. Once Shadow left, I could still feel Montego’s eyes on me waiting for me to explain. When he saw that I wasn't offering an explanation, he came out and asked. “You want to tell me what the hell that was about?" he asked, eyeing me. "I don't fucking know, but when I find out I'll fill you in. I don't think I'm going to like where this is going already." I said, taking a deep breath trying to focus on this damn map and not the lingering smell of WATERMELON! That's what I smelt, with something else mixed in, but definitely watermelon. Now that I was able to solve that small piece of the puzzle, Maka calmed down enough for me to finish planning our new security guard schedule.
Ji’lahni: POV nine o’clock
We had just arrived at the social hall, even though we were on time, it looked like people had been there for a while. The place was decorated beautifully in black and gold, which I’m starting to think is their community colors. The tables had beautiful clear vases, with black marbles, and a gold candle, as center pieces, giving it a romantic vibe. Everyone was dressed like they were on the red carpet. Lateri told us it was formal, so we had to buy dresses for this event. I’m glad we did, because we had nothing that would live up to what we were seeing. We ended up having dresses custom-made because we just couldn’t find something that we liked. Nothing complimented our body type, which is a problem that plus size women have to deal with, besides having limited options. For example, I have a stomach, but my waist was snatched, I have hips and ass for days. My boobs were a C cup, so I love dresses that insinuate my boobs, to distract from my stomach. I loved showing off my bleeding-heart tattoo, wrapped in a chain with a lock between my breast. I also had the key tattooed somewhere else on my body, and if you ever get close enough to find it, that means you’re lucky enough to have my heart.
Tonight, I chose a lilac-colored halter top dress with a deep V that stopped right above my stomach. It was a long form fitting dress with two deep slits on both sides. I don’t mind showing a little leg as long as the dress covered the lumps and cellulite on my inner thighs. The middle was wide enough that you would only see the splits on both sides when I walked. To top it off, I had a short jacket to cover my back fat. As I said I know how to make shit work for me. The color went perfectly with my deep chocolate skin, It made my deep blue eyes sparkle. Me and my cousins all had deep blue eyes, which we got from our granny. We got our dark chocolate complexion from our papa.
As for my hair I always keep the sides cut very low, with a design on the side and the top is always in braids. The entire dress had rhinestone trimming that shined whenever the lights hit it. Now Shawna always had the perfect fat girl shape, where everything was in the right places. She chose a form fitted blood red sleeveless dress with a sweetheart neckline. Her dress was trimmed with diamond rhinestones too, but she had a deep side split. Her dress exposed her back tattoo of angel wings, that expand the length of her shoulders. Sometimes when she moves a certain way, it looked like the wings move.
Then there is Mina, she was smaller than us, but she was also shorter. She had a stomach as well but was smaller everywhere else. She wore a royal blue, long sleeve dress, that drape down the front, that exposed her nice boobs, yet hid her stomach just right. The dress was backless, which showed off her spine tattoo, of a flying dragon. The Dragon looked like it was flying up her spine; all and all, we looked damn good. The best part was the dresses doubled as our dance outfits. The bottom had secret Velcro that allowed us to remove the bottom of the dresses to expose a flowy skirt, which moved in tune with our bodies. We did it this way because we didn’t want to have to go through the whole dress change process.
We would remove our shoes and replace them with soft dance shoes that matched our dresses. As we’re walking into the entrance, everyone seemed to stop talking just to stare at us, making it real weird. Shit we looking at each other like damn, do we have something on our faces. I mean I get we were out of towners, but to stare so hard was weird as hell. “What the hell are they staring at? Are we supposed to be dancing now?” Mina asked in a whisper. She smiled nervously at everyone. “The hell if I know. Shit it looks like we’re the only black people in here, that may be why. All I know is, I’m about to just sit my ass down at the closest table, I don’t care whose table it is.” I whispered back walking slowly to the nearest table. From the front of the room, we spot Lateri running toward us in a white ballgown, that looked kind of like dresses queens wore in the eighteen hundreds. I know that dress is heavy as hell, but she running like it was light as a feather. The poor girls who were trying to make sure her train stayed straight were trying to keep up.
“There is my chocolate drops, yall look so beautiful, you’re gonna make an old lady cry. I love those dresses; they look perfect, turn around and let me see.” Lateri said beaming as we obeyed. We were blushing because everyone was still staring, but Lateri acted like we were the only ones in the room. “Just beautiful now come on, dinner is about to be served. I put you girls at the front with me, my mate, our son, and his best friend whenever they get here.” Lateri said as she grabbed our hands and dragged us between the tables. People were staring with their mouths hanging open. I hear a now familiar growl and turned to see none other than Shadow killer staring holes into Shawna’s head as we passed by him. When we reached our table, Lateri reintroduced us to her mate Antoni Crystal. He was supposed to be sixty-seven years old, but he damn sure will have to prove he’s not forty. We only saw him twice while they visited South Carolina, but he was always so nice and friendly. He clearly loved Lateri because he was always touching her or looking at her lovingly.
“Hi young ladies, it’s nice to see you again. Lateri was absolutely right, you girls look beautiful tonight.” He said getting up pulling our chairs out so we could sit. He was such a gentleman. "Thank you.” We all said at the same time, blushing like little girls do when their fathers tell them they’re beautiful. Once seated everyone seemed to go back to their conversations. “I hope you girls like the food that I picked. I wanted to have some of your southern food added to the menu, to make sure we had things you liked.” she said proudly.
“Awe, momma Teri you didn’t have to do that, we would love to try some of your traditional foods. We don't want people to think you went out of your way to accommodate us.” I said shyly. “Oh, hush up sweetie. I don’t care what anyone thinks, if they have a problem with the food they could leave right now.” Lateri said loud enough, that I’m sure twelve of the twenty-four tables heard her. We tried to disappear at that moment, but it didn’t work. So, we focused on our nice silverware until the moment passed.
“I don’t know where the hell Kahi is. I swear Antoni if he misses out anniversary dinner, I will wring his neck.” Lateri said angerly. “Now you know he will be here when he can. He had a really important meeting that couldn’t be postponed. Please understand honey, don’t be too hard on him if he misses it. You know he would be here if he could.” Antoni said, pulling Lateri in to console her as she silently agreed. “Besides you have your girls here with us to celebrate, that’s something right.” He added.
“You’re right honey, I’m as happy as a clam, because you girls are here.” She smiled just as the servers came to our table, placing plates in front of us. She wasn’t playing when she said she picked foods she thought we would like. That plate had baked chicken, baked Macaroni, and cheese, and what looked to be cabbage. It smelled and looked delicious, and it tasted great too, she really went all out. We wanted to eat everything on that plate. We couldn’t eat like we wanted, because we had to perform in thirty minutes, but I damn sure hope they did carryout plates. I wouldn’t dare ask because I do know how to act around rich folks.
“Momma Teri the food was amazing.” Mina said after dinner was removed. “I’m so glad you liked it. We have a few minutes before your performance. I wanted to introduce you to some of the other ladies here.” Teri smiled, she got up and grabbed our hands, dragging us around each table, introducing us to everyone, literally calling us her adopted daughters. For the most part everyone was civil. There was some younger and older women who gave us nasty looks, when Lateri wasn’t looking. We just gave them our winning smile because we could care less what they thought of us. Lateri got called away while introducing us to a table filled with women that looked around our age. They all were athletic females, they looked like they worked out in their sleep. When Lateri was out of ear shot one of them decided she had something to say to us. “Damn yall not ashamed dressing like little fat sluts. Nobody wants to see all that fat hanging out.” She sneered at us, as the other girls laughed. We looked at each other and laughed too shit. “What are yall laughing for I was talking about yall.” The same bitch spoke again.
“We’re laughing because you really think calling us fat sluts, was going to somehow shame or humiliate us, in front of your little friends. Uuuummmm sweetie, we don’t care about you or your friends enough to care about what yall think about us. You tried it though, how old are you five?” I asked sarcastically, still laughing. “Cuz, I feel like she sat back here this entire time worried about three chick’s, she doesn’t know. Have you been sitting here thinking about us this whole time? When we didn’t even know you existed, until a few seconds ago, and you will be forgotten in three, two. Were we just talking to some jealous hating ass bitches, cuz?” Mina asked, looking at me. “Shit I thought so, but I real life can’t even remember. They must have been bitches; we could give two shits about. We can’t even remember what they looked like.” I said and we started laughing all over again, as we walked away from the table before we have to show our asses in here. We were not trying to ruin Lateri’s anniversary dinner.
Lateri found us standing in the back of the room minutes later. “What are yall doing way back here? Was someone rude to you?” She asked turning around, looking at the table where she left us. The girls were trying their best to be invisible. Before she could walk off and to hand them their asses, I grabbed her. “no one said anything to us. We just decided to walk to the back to wait for you because it’s almost time for us to perform.” I said, praying that she believed me. She eyed us for a few seconds trying to use Jedi mind trick on us or something. She decided to believe us, then took us backstage to get ready to perform. I suddenly became super nervous; I pray to God I don’t mess up. Oh well too late to turn back now, Let’s do it.
Makahi POV: “I can’t find her, are you sure that we checked everyone?” I asked Montego, still looking around as the catering people bustled around cleaning and preparing to leave. My wolf was clawing at me wanting to get out. He thought he could find that delicious watermelon smell faster than me. I could barely keep my focus during my meeting, trying to finalize our new guard schedule earlier. Once we were done, I came straight to the kitchen trying to find the wolf that smelled so damn good. I could literally taste it on my tongue. I still don’t know what will happen once I find her anyway. I’m not really trying to think about what it means that my wolf wants to find her so bad. “Yes, we have checked every single person that catered the dinner earlier. Your mother is going to kill you for missing her anniversary dinner. I really wanted to sample the food she picked for the human women, it smelled so good, and from the empty plates I can tell it tasted good too.
Makahi POV:"ROGUES SPOTTED AT THE EAST BORDERS!" Blaze mind linked the pack! "Shit how many?" I asked running out of the office towards the east border, taking my shirt off as I ran. I had no time to discard my pants, so they will just get shredded when I shift. "Looks like maybe fifteen or more." Blaze responded. "Hunter make sure all the women and children are in the safe houses.” “Copy that.” Hunter responded. "I need at least five guards on each border NOW, to make sure there is no more waiting to attack. “Everyone else at the east border.” I yelled cutting off the mind link. As I approached, I see Shadow grabbing a rogue wolf by its neck and snapped it like it was nothing, he hadn't even shifted yet. Wait, what the hell is he doing here, and not on the west with the human women. Just before I could ask, I see my mother running toward me frantically. "Mom why aren't you in one of the safe houses? Where are the human women?" I asked opening up my mind link again, as I b
Makahi’s POV: continued From outside, I hear shouting right before I see little Razor burst through the door, with Montego hot on his heels. He had shifted back to the little grey eyed boy. For a six-year-old he was pretty smart and fast from the looks of Montego, who look like he just ran a marathon. “What's going on?” I asked looking between him, and Montego as Razor stood next to my chair. "That little shit hit me and ran in here, he wanted to see the human and I told him no." Montego said angrily pointing at Razor who was looking guilty. "I just wanted to make sure Walahni was Ok.” He said, looking over at her with worry in his eyes. "She's gonna be just fine; the doctor is fixing her up now. Why don't you go back out with Montego, and I'll come get you once the doc is finished ok." "Noooo can I please stay for a wittle while?" Razor cried Looking at me whimpering. I couldn't fault him for wanting to be near her because I felt the same way. "OK you can stay for a few
Ji'lahni POV: What the hell is that beeping, and why the hell is it so damn loud? I groaned, opening my eyes slowly, but quickly shut them because the bright lights were blinding me. It felt like someone was drilling a hole in my head. Shit, I'm hurting everywhere, what the hell is going on? After a few seconds I was finally able to open my eyes wide enough to look around and see that I was in a hospital. But I can't remember why; judging by the pain I'm feeling literally everywhere; it’s safe to say that I got fucked up. I groaned when I tried to sit up to see if I can call or find someone to tell me what happened, but my left arm was killing me. I could barely move it without the pain almost making me pass out. "Hey, hey, don't move. Do you know who you are, or where you're at?" The stranger asked whispering. Where the hell did, he come from? Was he there the whole time? He pushed me back on the pillow, and I allowed him. I was too weak to do anything else but let him.
Makahi POV : "WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOURE DOING?" I growled as I squeezed Summer's throat, fighting with my wolf to not crush her throat for hurting our mate. Realizing she couldn't answer I let her go and she dropped to the ground in a heap on the floor. With Everyone watching she immediately got up with anger in her eyes. "What do you mean what am I doing what was she doing why was she touching you why were you so close to her. What the hell is going on Kahi." Summer raged in a loud whisper. Sighing I really didn't want to deal with this now. Honestly, I couldn't tell her anything while I'm still not sure what is going on myself. Trying to defuse the situation. "Summer I told you the doctor said she has a really bad concussion and loud noises cause her severe pain and it will be that way until we get her medication. She had just woken up and I had to lean into whisper to her without hurting her. I said leaving out the we almost kissed part.
Ji'lahni POV: "How are you feeling today Miss Nelson? The doctor asked as I sat in the chair by the hospital window. Although he still wants me on bed rest I managed to beg and pleaded with him to let me sit in the recliner for an hour. He said yes but Hunter had to carry me to and from because my balance was still way off, and he didn't want me to reinjure my arm or fall and bump my head again which could kill me. So, I reluctantly agreed. Hunter was really handsome, smart, and funny. We had gotten to know each other these past few days since Makahi decided he didn't want to see or visit me anymore. I heard from the nurse that he calls damn near every hour asking if I was ok. To say he feels nothing for me, his actions said otherwise. But I'm not in the business of forcing anyone to chose me despite the ache in my heart and the anger I feel every time I think of him and Summer together. For some reason she make sure someone just so happen to have seen her and Mak
Makahi's POV:"Don't you agree sweetie?" Summer said putting her hand in mine. I had no idea what she just said I couldn't tear my eyes away from Ji'lahni. I was furious that she allowed Hunter to touch her. I wonder what else they have done. Did she let him kiss or something more I asked myself getting more and more pissed thinking about it. "OUCH! YOU'RE HURTING MY HAND!" Summer yelled. "Oh sorry. Montego just got some news of another rogue attack." I said, which wasn't a total lie there was another attack, but I knew about it already. "Oh, my goddess where? is everyone ok?" My mother asked ever the loving Luna. "It was Alpha Bronnan's pack. There was no wolves lost but some were injured pretty badly." I said trying to focus on the task at hand. "Oh, that's sad we should reach out to see if they need anything honey." My mother said and my father nodded eyeing me suspiciously. I guess he didn't buy the whole story. "Anyway, as I was saying it obvious that me and my friends
Summer’s Pissed! Summer’s POV: “UUUGGGHHH!” I screamed. I can’t believe he stayed with that fat human bitch. I should rip that bitch throat out. Opening my mind link to my best friend “Hey brit, are you busy?” “No what’s up. I thought you had plans to have dinner with Kahi?” “I was but that fat bitch Ji’lahni decided to surprise everyone with her release from the hospital. So of course, all everyone’s attention was on her, including Kahi. I don’t know what the hell is going on with him lately. He has been distant; we haven’t had sex in weeks. He’s always making excuses.” I can’t help but think it’s those human cows that his mother brought here.” I sneered. “Yea you probably right. He may be stressed out with the attacks, and those bitches getting attacked, only made it worse. He has a lot on his shoulders.” Brit said, she may be right I sighed, because I can’t get over the sight from the other night. When I walked in, she was touching Kahi like she wanted to kiss him. “You
Ji’lahni’s POV:Just to let yall know, getting stabbed in the chest hurts. That shit hurts like a motha fucka, you couldn’t tell me I wasn’t about to die. Makahi said he had to mark me and make me drink his blood so I would heal. Although I still had the stab wound in my chest, it wasn’t bleeding and it was slowly healing, I mean really slow, judging by the fact that it still hurt like a bitch when I take deep breaths. Makahi got us both to the entrance with Mylan right behind us. She immediately handed Teri to me, and I cried as I finally got to hold her in my arms. Makahi wrapped his arms around both of us. I looked around about to cuss Mina’s ass out for not bringing Tru over fast enough. But when I looked around, I didn’t see anyone. Lynn ran up to us with Montego right behind her. She immediately hugged me and Teri so tightly she grunted and passed gas. I was still looking around for Mina. Lynn must have also realized we were missing Tru and Mina. “Where is Tru and Mina? I asked,
Battleground’s POV: The witch was starting to panic. The dark one was free but has abandoned me, because she had failed him by not killing the alpha or the Omni twins. She needed to get the babies and get out of there. The dark one was not coming to attack the werewolves now, because he had not built his strength. He would need to feed to regain all his strength. The ground began to shake again. The witch was alone now. She had no one to help her escape. The vampires were starting to flee. Her warriors were still loyal and fighting. But they were no match for the werewolves, so they were not able to help her. She was surrounded. “What the hell is that? Is it an earthquake?” Montego yelled. “I don’t know, but it can’t be good, so we need to break this damn force field now.” The alpha said, Mylan jumped into the air with her sword and stabbed the sword into the force field and pulled down, propelling down the side of the force field as until she reached the ground with Lynndoria follo
The Realm's POV:“Now, I won’t lie, this is going to hurt a lot.”Mylan said to Lynn, who nodded and braced herself with the help of Ji’lahni and Mina, who was still holding her.Mylan placed her hands on Lynn’s forehead and started speaking in some ancient language no one recognized. Once she said the last words, the sky opened up and we heard a loud screeching sound, then beaming white light broke through the clouds. The bright light took on the shape of a dragon flying around the sky above us. “Somebody please tell me I’m not seeing a dragon ghost?Nope, it’s not no damn dragon ghost flying around in the damn sky.” Mina said, shaking her head and snapping her eyes closed. If she opened them again and that ghost dragon was still there, somebody would be handing her black card back to her on her fucking way outta this place.&
Jilahni's POV: Now what the hell is going on? All of a sudden, every damn vampire, warrior, and werewolf dropped to the ground holding their ears, every shifter changed back to their human form. “What the hell man, you need to warn people that you’re about to shift. Wait, fuck all that! Why the hell is purple shit flying outta Shawna's whole body?” Mina asked, as we unsnapped our harnesses from the wolves, who shifted back into their human forms after fallen to the ground with us still attached to them. Once we got up, I looked in the direction of where Shawna was. We could see Shadow lying on the ground along with Hawk and the zombie bitch, who was on the ground holding her ears. Everyone was holding their ears in pain. “I don’t know, but we have a chance to go get the girls.” Lynn said, as she took off in the direction of the girls. The vampire had fallen to the ground with the girls next to him while he cradled his ears. The witch also didn't seem to be affected by wh
Shadow's POV: Shawna, I called out to her. I saw Shaid walk up behind her just as the vampire, who looked like he was about to attack her, stop in midair or moving in slow motion, just as Shawna turned around, Shaid struck her and snatched the babies, then gave them to the vampire. I was running now just throwing warriors and animals away, not bothering to kill or fight. I needed to get to Shawna. Shaid went back to Shawna as the vampire ran at human speed towards the witch, who was now saying some kind of spell by the looks of the clouds that were gathering. Shaid picked Shawna up by her throat just as I got closer. “SHAID STOP DON’T DO THIS!” I yelled just as Shaid drew her hand back and glanced at me. Her eyes widened in shock at seeing me, then quickly turned back to Shawna, bringing her claws down just as I got in front of Shawna and wrapped my arms around her just as I felt Shaid's claws enter my back. “NNNOOOO!” I heard Shaid from behind me just as I heard a gunshot. I turned
Mylan's POV: There are just too many of them. The women were surrounded by more than twenty warriors and animals. The girls are still too far away. Shawna is pregnant and fighting Shaid. Shawna is the only one close enough to reach the girls right now and she is fighting Shaid. I’m injured, but vampires won’t kill me, but that doesn’t mean they don’t hurt like a bitch. The alpha, Montego, and Blaze are surrounded by a horde of vampires. Looking out over the war in front of me is heartbreaking. The werewolves are outnumbered, but they fight with the strength and courage of a thousand warriors. The witch that started this mess is slowly making her way to the girls. If she succeeds in raising the dark one, we are all going to perish. Which is why I have made my way into the castle in search of where the dark one is being held. Once I find it, I tend to reinforce the spell used to trap him, so no mat
Urrale’s POV continued: “Gregor! Get your ass out here. We need to get to those pups NOW!” I yelled, fighting off wolves. “You don’t have to yell; I was just having a little snack.” The pale vampire said, with a smile. He grabbed a wolf and threw it against a tree. “Fine, I’ll get the little dogs.” He said and blurred and reappeared right behind the tree where the babies were laying. Finally, one thing is going my way. Now all I need to do is perform the spell and release father. Shawna’s POV: “No, no, no, no, we can’t let him take the girls. We have to do something.” I said, looking around for anyone who could help get the girls. “Shawna, stay back, do not move. He’s a vampire and his bites are poisonous, and it will kill you.” Hawk whispered from behind me. He approached the vampire from behind but that was useless. The vampire turned around as soon as Hawk was close e
Makahi’s POV: When I saw my mother, she was fighting the Vampire in human form. I could tell she had some serious bite marks and deep scratches. I reached her just as the vamp drew his hand back ready to strike her for the second time, but I caught his fist in my hand and crushed it before throwing him into the tree behind him. “Mother go get the girls and get them out of here now, I got this.” I said, not even taking my eyes off the vampire, who was hissing at me cradling his hand waiting for it to heal. My mother immediately shifted to heal and headed in the direction of where she saw Fiona running with the girls. “I see you take pleasure in hitting women, but you should ask yourself if she has a son. Because that lady definitely has one, and you've pissed him the fuck off. I said, repeating Ji'lahni's words from earlier. He jumped up and blurred, disappearing. I stopped and used my ears to pick
Shadow’s POV: “I’ll be up in a minute once I kill your family, then I will cut that pup out of your stomach and drain it while you watch, then I'll allow my friends to drain you to death.” I heard Shaid say, there was a sick feeling that stirred in my gut.
