"Caroline, the water is quite chilly. Get up." I heaved a sigh as I sat on the edge of the lake and watched Caroline move her feet through the water of the nearby lake while leaning against a tree. The sky was getting darker. It was not due to the fact that the time had passed, but rather because of the poor weather. And there was no rush on her part to depart from this location.
