04~He's Mine now

Aluma was freaking out of her mind as she was being led to the pack gate. She didn't know which one was worse dying in her pack or facing this Alpha. She had heard many tales about him and it still managed to put a shiver down her spine.

She struggled to free myself and beg Aria to kill her. How ironic, she was running away from death and now she was welcoming it when she realized that she was stuck with Randy.

Randy....just his name alone was enough to send Alpha Daniel running for cover when his name was mentioned. He was a man rarely seen but always mentioned. His feats that he had accomplished ever since breaking off the pack was legendary and second to none. And his prisoners were always pitied by the rest because he showed no mercy and not even their bones were found after he was done with them.

Rumors went around and it was probably something along the lines of, he ordered for the bones to be grounded and mixed in his food. Disgusting but that was the only option out of the numerous that he had that could be taken as manageble.

"There is no use struggling. You won't break free...Omega" Randy spat at her not even glancing at her once as Aluma got stilled into silence.

"Please Alpha...... Let me die. I did it. I killed him, that is all you need to know..let me burn for my sins." She said as a last desperate to provoke him into killing her swiftly before her soul was sold to him but he pretended that he hadn't heard her and he said,

"Take her to the SUV. Make sure that she is comfortable. If she makes too much noise, well do whatever it takes to keep her silent. We have to reach my pack before night fall. It's not wise, crying such fragile package in the night where anything can happen. What about business 2? Has it been taken care of?" He asked as one of the guards replied,

"Yes it was. We salvaged what we could and now it's in the boot. We will do what you said we should do. Aside that, that is all." One of the guards added as Randy nodded his head and said,

"You may take her first. I will ride with Kendall." He said as the guards bowed one more time and pulled Aluma our of his sight.

"Alpha Randy? A word please " Someone yelled as he turned back and saw that it was Escobar.

"What do you want now?" Randy asked displeasure written all over his face. He never lied his brother's beta and he never hid it either.

"I just wanted to ask some questions first. Hope that's ok with you." He said as Randy rolled his eyes and sighed,

"Whatever, ask. I want to leave." He said as Escobar took a deep breath, Randy wasn't making it any easier so he decided to just go straight to the point.

"First off, I am sorry about the death of your brother. I am also sorry that you didn't get a chance to meet him one last time before we burnt him. I know things weren't good with you two while he was alive but still blood is blood." He said hoping to get a reaction from him but Randy remained cold and shrugged.

"Everyone is dying one day or another. It was simply his turn. Why bother myself." He said as Escobar tried to hide the shock he was feeling. He thought that he might be able to deprive sympathy but he was as hard as rock.

"Still no one wants to feel that way at all"

"I have a feeling that you are stalling. So spit it out and spare me the fake concerns." He said as Escobar dropped the act and sighed. He knew that there was no playing around Randy at all.

"What do you plan to do with Aluma?" He said as Randy cocked his head to the side and said,

"And what does that have to do with you?" He replied.

"Well for once ,she killed the Alpha, her hand was covered in his blood and Aria needs closure. Punishment for killing an Alpha is death by burning. That is what we were doing. If you want to punish her, why don't you stay and watch the scene with us . We need this type of justice." He said as Randy replied,

"Who saw her kill my brother?"

"Well nobody but...."

"Then she comes with me. You can't kill someone just because you suspects she did it. She is an Omega. My brother was an Alpha. Are you by chance mocking your leader wasn't strong enough to protect himself from a weak Omega. You say you are trying to bring honor to his name but your actions actually condemns him. I hope you will understand my refusal to do such a thing." He said as Escobar clenched his fist tight and swallowed hard.

Randy was succeeding in making him look like a fool as usual and he was enraged. There was no need losing control over his feelings. It would not be wise to attack someone who could kill him easily attacked. And deal with him if he wanted.

"Sure....I understand but I hope your investigation would be faster. So that we can wrap this up quickly as possible

"Like I said, if Aluma is guilty, I will make sure that she is punished. But till then she is under my watch and care and she would have 24/7 watch. I am not settling her free" He said as he turned to leave as Escobar watched him go.

There was nothing that he could say or do. He was just a Beta now, and he had to step up and help Aria in ruling this pack as per his duties.

Deep down he knows that Aluma didn't do it but everything points to her.

Frustrated he made his way back to the pack.
