From a distance, I watched the higher-ranked women laughing and chatting among themselves. Their presence caused me to feel a tightness in my chest. I wondered why the moon goddess was so unfair to create omega blood.

These people didn't seem to have problems, and I wished to be like that: normal, happy, and enjoying life. My thoughts went foggy amidst the confusion of my feelings.
