Chapter Eighty-Nine

I stayed awake, well past when Hunter fell asleep, I hated it when I slept and I didn’t want to ruin the night by having another nightmare. I just laid beside Hunter, listening to the sound of his breathing and feeling like for once, things were going right in my life. I had a pack I belonged to, a mate that goes out of his way to make me feel special and friends that I have come to cherish.
