Alpha Carlos Gonzalez, the Alpha of the Moon cross pack had been in New York and away from the werewolf world after his pack got burned down by enemies, the crisis had ended up killing many Lives but he had managed to survive and live in the human world with his mother.

Carlos was a forty-year-old wolf who still looked handsome and nothing of his age, he had that sexy killer body and chiseled jaw that made him stand out perfectly. One could classify him in the range of his late thirties in the human world age. The handsome Carlos was the owner of three large and well-known companies in New York, he was a freaking billionaire that girls would die for a hundred times.

Today he was clocking forty one and still had no care in the world but to focus on making more money. He was fixing on his suit to head to work when his phone began to beep.

He picked his phone up before sliding the accept button.

"Happy birthday man, don't tell me you are going to sulk at work today also?" His friend muttered. "You know I don't celebrate birthdays Joseph," Carlos said moving to his many Racks of watches to pick from.

"I know but what about you just hang out with your friends today? Moreover, I have a surprise for you," his friend muttered.

"I have a lot of things to take care of, maybe some other birthday," Carlos said.

"You say that every freaking time. Just having fun for a little while wouldn't hurt," Joseph insisted. "Alright, send the address! I would make sure I drop by after work today," Carlos said before hanging up.

"He walked toward his shoe collection before going for the dark-colored ones. He stared at himself in the mirror before adjusting his hair to the side and leaving for work.

Miriam had just finished from the market and was heading home. Her sister Eleanor had gone home a bit earlier to prepare dinner before Miriam would get back, she was about to move to the bus station when she notice a newspaper seller with a magazine that had she and Christain picture on the front.

She became curious before bringing out money to buy the magazine. A smile instantly became visible when she noticed the cheesy pick up line on the front page of the magazine. 'The Adorable Sweetheart,' it read as she opened the pages to notice the interview she had given few days ago.

She walked to the quiet side of the market to make a call. She was going to call Christian and tell him about the Magazine, she placed the phone on her ear and waited for Christain to finally pick.

After multiple rings, the voice of Christain was heard. "Hello Amor?" He said and a blush escaped Miriam's lips.

"Hello prince charming," she muttered back teasingly.

"I just finished with my meeting, where are you?" He asked.

"I just got off work when I noticed the magazine that had us in it, it really lovely Christian," Miriam muttered.

"Since you seem excited about it, I might have us featured in all magazines around the world," Christain teased making her blush. "I'm about to leave the office, why don't you tell me where exactly you are presently so I can pick you up?" Christian said but she instantly declined that she was fine.

"I'm at the market side but I think you should get home and rest, your day must have been hectic too." Miriam muttered as a black van passed but came back before halting in front of her, Miriam became anxious, she spun to run but they had gotten a hold of her.

"Christian, there are some men here to hurt me, please save me," she yelled through the cell phone but a white hankie was wrapped around her nose before she could explain further. She began to struggle as Christians began to get really worried.

"What's happening Miriam, are you okay?" He asked but he got no reply. Miriam's phone hit the floor after she had intoxicated the smell from the hankie, her phone slam the pebble ground before shattering into chunks.

she was being dragged into the van by her abductee.

"Miriam, please say something," Christain pleaded but got no feedback. He tried to call but the phone had already been disconnected. "I need to call the police," Christian said before hurriedly entering his car to leave.

After Christian had called the police he headed to the last place Miriam had spoken to him from. He came down from his car before noticing her broken phone on the floor and the magazine she had told him about.

He picked the magazine up before tossing it on the floor angrily. He rubbed his face in frustration and confusion, "those bastards who have taken a hold of you would pay with their Lives Miriam," Christain said as a tear left his eyes.

Miriam was dropped in the hotel room. She was in a very deep slumber from the effect of the drugged hankie that was wrapped around her nose. The door to the hotel room unlocked itself as the drunk looking man entered the room.

The minutes he trudged towards the bed.

He lost it. "Mate?" His wolf whimpered in his head. The burning sensation he felt was sexual and at the same time exciting. He swirled Miriam to face him before leaving soft kisses on her neck.

Just trailing those kisses turned him on as he began to pull off his buttons one after the other. He smiled before his drunken self smashed his lips on her pink and enticing looking once. He held on to her hand that had her engagement ring on it before rubbing his growing bulge on her.

Miriam whimpered a little in her sleep as He tried to pull off her dress but It was taking way too long.

His eyes darkened as his claws became visible. He tore away the dress hurriedly. The trails of sparks that ignited themselves in his body made him rip her bra too as he bent low to suck on one of her nipples.

Miriam struggled in both pleasure and pain. She tried to push the man off but she was too weak, he pulled down her panties before penetrating into her. Miriam cried and yelled in pain and pleasure as her weak self had no idea of what was happening to her.

The pain was blinding and Miriam couldn't help but call the last person she had in heart.

"Christian, help me," she muttered helplessly.

Oh my Goodness!” Miriam said, rubbing her forehead. “That’s a great defense!” Christian voiced out.“Your ex-husband is such a liar,” Doris said, wiggling her head in shame.
