MOLLY'S POV

As General Kane and I got closer, things got tense between Yaz and I. Yaz was growing inpatient with my lack of feedback. He demanded that I give him a positive update soon so we could proceed to the next part of our plan.

That was the moment I knew I had to do something, even though deep down, I didn't want to. I had to get a particular set of documents that Yaz instructed me to get from Kane's office. I had till tomorrow to get them to him. He was growing impatient so he set a deadline for me.

That night, I went to see Kane in his residence. Both of us were alone in his room, sitting on the sofa. His eyes were dark with desire and locked onto mine as he leaned in.
