Chapter 5

"Who are you?!" shrieked Theresia frantically.

An old man dressed in all black opened the veil that covered his head and face, he smiled at Theresia. Then he stretched out his hand and said, "It's me, your grandfather."

Theresia's smile expanded perfectly, her annoyance momentarily disappeared because of her grandfather. Theresia scattered hugging Grandpa Hans tightly, letting go of the longing. She hadn't seen her grandfather for the past few months, however, it was only Hans that Theresia had now. Because her father and mother have died, now only Hans' grandfather still cares about him.

"Grandpa, I miss you," Theresia said in her arms.

Hans only laughed a little in response to his grandson, he also really missed Theresia. But whatever her decision was, it was best for Theresia and the other witches.

Theresia let go of her hug. "Come on, go into the room. It's very cold here, grandpa," she said pulling Hans into her room, telling the old man to sit on the edge of the bed. Not to forget, Theresia immediately ran to close the window of her room and locked it, so that no one could see or enter the room.

After making sure everything was safe, Theresia returned to Hans and sat next to the old man.

"Grandpa, what happened? Are you okay? How are the witches there, do the vampires still bother you often?" Theresia asked questions without pause, she was really afraid something would happen to her grandfather and brother there.

Hans laughed in response, his outstretched hand patted Theresia's head gently and said, "No, everything is safe there. Grandpa too That's fine, even though vampires still often threaten me to tell you where you are, Theresia. "

Hearing her grandfather's answer, Theresia bowed her head. Theresia understood that if things weren't going well, she felt guilty about all the witches there. Because Theresia everything gets complicated if she wants to give up and give her blood to the vampires. Surely they will all be free without interference from the vampires, and even her grandfather will not be threatened at a young age.

"I'm sorry, it's all because of me. I should have given up first because the vampires will continue to tease witches if I don't surrender. " Theresia lowered her head, tears starting to fall on the back of her hand.

"No, whatever happens. You can't give in to the vampires, you understand?" said Hans holding Theresia's hand tightly, channeling warmth and strength to his grandson. Hans loves Theresia so much, he can't possibly let his grandson be taken advantage of by the vampires.

"Wouldn't if I gave up and gave my blood, they would stop bothering the witches? Everything will be fine after that!"

"Do you think vampires will be satisfied just by getting holy blood in you? If they get holy blood, they will be immortal and will rule the world. Do you want evil creatures like them to rule the world? What will happen to the world later! " Hans said at length, he held both of Theresia's shoulders. Then wipe away the tears that flowed down her cheeks.

"It's not just about witches and vampires, Theresia. It's about world peace," Hans continued with a serious look in his eyes.

Theresia sighed, then nodded, then nodded understand. What his grandfather said was true, creatures like them should not be allowed to rule the world. Theresia held her grandfather's hand with a thin smile.

"Yes, I understand. I'm sorry, I will keep trying to avoid and fight the vampires. But, what about you, grandpa?"

"I'll be fine, I just came here to tell you. The vampires are starting to smell your whereabouts, they will keep looking for you. You have to be more careful, don't let you die in vain in their hands."

Theresia was silent, is that a sign that her life will be disturbed again? Will her calm all this time be lost? If the vampires discovered her whereabouts, there would be peace in Theresia's life.

"Is everything going to be okay, grandpa?" Theresia asked doubtfully, she didn't know if she could survive or not if the vampires found her.

Hans hugged Theresia again and said, "Yes, everything will be fine. Believe me, there will come a time when you will be free from the vampires. Be patient."

Theresia nodded in understanding, smiling even though her heart was restless. "Thank you, grandpa," she mumbled between hugs.

Soon after, Hans let go of his embrace. He reached into the pocket of the black robe he was wearing, then took out a shining crystal necklace. Hans raised the necklace to his face, staring at the necklace with a sad look.

"That crystal necklace belonged to your grandmother, Theresia. She used to love this necklace very much, and it is also very precious to our family." Hans paused for a moment, wiping the tears that fell without permission. He was always sad when he remembered his late wife who had died a long time ago.

Theresia was still listening to Hans' words while staring at the necklace with admiration. The crystal necklace is very beautiful, Theresia's hand is holding the pendant in the form of a red crystal.

"It's beautiful," Theresia murmured with a faint smile.

"Not only is it beautiful, but this necklace has extraordinary power," said Teresa. Hans gave the necklace to Theresia.

"Seriously? Why did Grandpa give it to me?"

"Keep the necklace, use it when you need it. You can use the necklace to protect yourself from the vampire nation," Hans replied.

Theresia nodded her head, she wore the necklace happily. Then got up from her seat, walked to the mirror in her room.

"Wow this is so beautiful," she muttered while looking at the necklace that was wrapped around her neck through the reflection of the glass.

After being satisfied with seeing the necklace, Theresia returned an open voice. "But grandpa, it looks like this necklace will be useless," she said ending with a light laugh.

"What do you mean?" Hans asked while raising an eyebrow.

Theresia turned to face her grandfather, still with a sweet smile on her face. "Yes, because there is a grandfather who always protects me. I know even though you are far from me, you always protect me with your magic power, right?" she replied confidently.

Hans's face turned sour, don't know what was going on in his mind. Hans rose from his seat, helped by the magic wand that was always in his hand. He walked up to Theresia, looked at her granddaughter with a sad look.

"Yes, that's true. But I can't always protect you, Theresia. Grandpa doesn't know when Grandpa's life will be taken by the almighty," said Hans smiling forcefully, patting Theresia's shoulder several times.

Theresia looked confused as, to why her grandfather suddenly spoke like that. Theresia's eyes filled with tears again, she looked at Hans with a sad look.

"What do you mean? Don't talk like that."

"I'm sorry, Theresia. But sooner or later he will kill me," said Hans.

"Who is he? Grandpa..."

Before Theresia finished speaking, Hans first disappeared from the scene. It made Theresia confused and uneasy.

"Grandpa!" Teresa shouted with tears in her eyes.

Pyar...

Shortly thereafter the glass in Theresia's room shattered and made a loud noise, someone was standing outside Theresia's bedroom window. Who?
