I couldn’t understand why Derek was so emotional when in the first place, I thought he hated me because of what he saw. We stayed in our position for quite some time since he needed time to calm down and I let him.

We sat in the same position on the bed for what seemed like an eternity.

Maybe he finally realized that wench hit me first, I smirked. Well, I'll let him slide since he showed how sorry he is.

I let out a groan. My body was starting to feel stiff so I repeatedly patted his back to soothe him, “There, there, have you calmed down?”

While his chin rested on the top of my head, he clung to me with tighter arms. "I want to stay like this forever," he said.
