Blaze's Point of View
"Here, I bought it for you," Summer stated, handing me a paper bag.
Summer invited me to dinner, so we're at a restaurant. I promised her I'd be the one to book it, and I chose the restaurant we co-owned with Agni.
"What is this?"
"It's a coat, you could wear that to the party,"
"Summer, you don't have to buy me stuff, I should be the one buying you things,"
"It's fine, I wanted to buy that for you, I think it would look good."
"Thank you,"
It was practically evening when we finished dining and went out. I made the decision to bring Summer home.
"So, see you tomorrow?"
"Okay, I'll pick you up, okay?" "Please wait for me,"
"I will, drive safe,"
Before driving away, I smiled at her. I don't like the fact that the pack was plotting an attack on the hunters on the night of the school's prom. But if I wasn't an Alpha, I wouldn't be able to stop them.
When I arrived at the mansion, our pack members were already preparing for the next day. There are guns and swords everywhere.
"Keahi, do you guys really are unstoppable?"
"Blaze, we have already planned this out; all you have to do is follow the plan; don't you want some payback? Consider what they did to Brigid. "I'm going to kill them all."
"I understand your frustration, Keahi, just please don't hurt the students,"
"I can't promise,"
I noticed Theresa walking down the stairs; she was the mastermind behind this scheme.
"Theresa, could you not do it at school?"
"I heard you upstairs already, why are you so worried?"
"I'm just thinking about the students, they're out of this,"
"I assure you, no civilians would be harm,"
"How would you be so sure,"
"I would announced it, listen every one!"
Theresa came to a halt at the stairwell to disclose the idea. We all glanced at her and listened.
"For the prom, attendees would be given roses." It'll be fastened to their chest. Red roses will be given to students, while black flowers will be given to outsiders. Black rose people are your targets, which suggests they are hunters, right?"
What Theresa said soothed me. At the very least, I know Summer was safe if she has a red rose.
*The next day*
I was already planning on picking up Summer before heading to the prom. I hired the most well-known stylists in town to assist me in getting the pack ready.
"I'd like to wear this coat, please," I said, handing him the coat that Summer had purchased me. I'm curious to see her response when she sees me wearing this.
"Oh.. don't you like the most expensive one, Sir?"
"No, I want this,"
After I finished ready, I grabbed my car keys and drove to my Lamborghini. I went out and bought a brand new car specifically for this party, and I couldn't be happier with it.
"Blaze, where are you going?" Tom asked as I stepped into my car.
"I'm going to Summer's house, I will pick her up,"
"Theresa said we were all going to the party together, as one pack,"
"Tom, I need to pick up Summer; I'll go to the party first; after all, she isn't our leader, so don't stop me." Remember? "I have to protect her."
"What if she ask where you are?"
"Just gave her reasons, C'mon you got this!"
I had a commitment to pick up Summer, and I kept my word. Why are they acting as if Theresa was our leader when she wasn't?
I rang the doorbell when I got at Summer's residence. I was carrying a bouquet of flowers for her. When Summer opened the door, I was taken aback.
She was looking really stunning today in a red gown, and the color of her hair, which was black, was a good complement to her outfit.
"Dang, you look so stunning,"
"Haha, thank you,"
"I am already seeing queen of the night,"
"Stop it," she laughed, and I couldn't take my gaze away from her.
"For you," I murmured as I handed the bouquet to her.
"Oh.. you don't have to, but thank you,"
"Are you prepared? "Let's go," I say.
I walked her to my car. We were going hand in hand, and her hands were so gentle that I couldn't let go.
"Wow, new car?"
"Yeah.. I just thought that tonight was going to be so amazing, so I went out and bought a new one."
"It looks gorgeous, just like you, the coat I bought you really suits you well."
Hearing her compliments warmed my cheeks; this girl was my weakness.
As we went to her school, we noticed that a large number of students and staff members had already arrived, and upon entering the building, the staff members were also handling the red roses. Before entering, we went to the parking lot.
"I'm nervous," she said while glancing at the kids who were entering the room. Although all of the students were dressed to their best, Summer stood out as the most beautiful student in the room.
"Why? "You're the most beautiful person here,"
"You think?"
"Yes, of course," "Hey, everything's going to be fine?" "Don't worry, I'm here," I reassured her while holding her hands.
"Thank you for being here,"
"My pleasure, queen,"
"Stop calling me a queen, you silly!" When I heard her chuckle, I grinned. I hoped she was no longer nervous.
When we got to the front door, they gave each of us a red rose, and I assisted her in pinning the rose on her chest so it would look nice.
Everyone was staring at us; there were so many photographers on the red carpet, and they were all photographing us from different angles.
"I didn't know there will be a lot of people coming tonight,"
"Yeah.. me too, this is the first time they're allowing guests outside to the prom,"
"Oh really,"
Theresa really organized this ahead of time, huh? I was wondering whether the pack was already here, but I haven't seen any of them yet.
"Let's go find our seat first,"
Summer's classmates were sat next to us. It was the first time I'd ever met any of them, so all of us were somewhat astonished to meet me. I had to hide behind Summer since Sam was so chatty.
"Was she always that talkative?"
"Hahaha yeah, sorry was it too much for you?"
"Yeah it is,"
The celebration had begun, and everything was going great; but, as the night progressed, the arena became increasingly crowded, and I could see the pack. There were also a lot of hunters, as I noticed a lot of black roses merging in with red roses individuals.
"Do you want to dance?"
"Uhmm.."
"C'mon"
Summer didn't wait for me to say no; she just took my hand and led me to the dance floor, where Keahi was laughing with Tom. They irritate me.
Summer's gown was ruined when a girl knocked into us with a drink in her hand. We were both taken aback by what occurred.
"Oh no! "I'm sorry," the girl promptly apologized.
"No, it's okay, I'll just go to the bathroom,"
We returned to our seats, and I offered Summer a handkerchief to wipe the wine from her gown.
She went to the restroom, and I sat at our table waiting for her. Sam was also present.
'Isn't she taking too long?' While I was waiting for her, I got up and went to the girls' restroom. When I glanced around, she was returning to our seat. I checked her garment and was astounded to see what was on it.
A black rose. Why was she wearing the black rose given to the hunters? I dashed over to her.
"Where was the red rose they gave you, Summer?" Why was that a black rose?
"Uhmm.. It was ruined while I was in the restroom, so I requested a replacement, but the professor told they only had black rose, so I took it."
"What, No, Let's exchange roses, now!"
The mayhem began as soon as I said that. No, Summer wouldn't be safe if she is wearing a gown with a black rose on it. What should I do?
Blaze's Point of View I removed the black rose from Summer's chest. People began shouting and fleeing as they heard gunshots in the middle of the a party. "What's happening?" Summer questioned me, but I chose to disregard her inquiries and seize her in order to search for a room in which we could hide. I discovered an empty classroom far away from the party; I hope no one finds her here. I was thinking about leaving her here and helping the pack. "Stay here, don't go there no matter what, okay?" I told her that we could still hear screams outside. "What? "Are you going to leave me here?" Summer yelled. I have a responsibility to help the pack, which comprises of many more hunters than we do. I needed to make certain that everyone was safe. "It's dangerous out there, I'll check how I could get you out of here," "Promise me, you'll be back," "I promise," I kissed her forehead before leaving the room, "I will make sure no one sees us." One hunter tried to shoot me as I wal
Summer's Point of ViewThe school was so calm the day after the chaos that no students were on the field. That night may have left them all terrified. While we were making our way to our rooms, Sam remarked that the atmosphere had changed. "There's a different vibe right now," she said. Regardless of what transpired, school resumed. The teachers didn't appear to care about what happened, and the gymnasium was closed because there were still a lot of obvious damages. One of the students was overheard saying, "They said there are werewolves last night," while I was in the locker room.I'm curious where Wilder was; he left me in an empty room to return to the gymnasium. Was he also seeing werewolves? "Summer, the professors wants us at the auditorium!" Sam yelled. When we got at the auditorium, there were already a large number of pupils present."We're announcing to close the classes for a week, because of what happened last night, I want you all to take a rest and freshen your minds.
Blaze's Point of ViewSummer asked me to Sam's house party; if I want to protect her, I must accompany her. I noticed Keahi seated next Summer as she went to get her beer. I dashed over to where they were and stopped Keahi in his tracks. This jerk Keahi bought her a drink, I deduced. Was he attempting to meet Summer? What on earth was he thinking?"Let's go back to our table, Summer," I gave Keahi one last look before exiting the counter. "Why are you so upset, Wilder?" Summer questioned."Nothing, I was just trying to protect you,""Guard me? Uhmm.. I just wanted to bring to your attention that this is, in fact, a party. So it's logical that we'd meet new people.""I know, but that guy, he seems like a not nice person,""How did you know?" "Do you know who he is?"Yes, Summer, I know Keahi better than you, but it wasn't what I would say. I don't want her to be affiliated with any of them, Brigid or Keahi."Do you want to go out?" "It's getting late," I say. I didn't answer Summer
Summer's Point of ViewI couldn't sleep because Blaze had revealed that he was the one who had previously saved me. To be honest, I wasn't surprised. I was relieved that it was him. I was relieved to discover that they were the same person. He had already left after that. I don't know what to do right now because my parents aren't home; they're on a trip; they left after the prom and said they'd be gone for a while. I have no idea where they are; they are always like that; they haven't brought me on any of their vacations since dad stated it was for work. I'm alone for the rest of the night.*The following day*I awoke with an atypical routine; we still don't have class today, so I texted Sam and asked if she wanted to hang out at Tom's Bar, but she declined, citing a hangover from the night before. Whatever, I just go there by myself.I waited until it was late at night to go to the pub. I'm not sure why I wanted to go there while being traumatized by the fight that occurred when we
Summer's Point of ViewWhen I woke up, I realized we were getting close to our destination. I could see the river walk immediately, all the lights were switched on, and there were only a few people here. After witnessing this place in person, I felt as if I were dreaming. After parking the car, I made a hasty dash for the fountain, and Blaze did nothing more than follow me as I ran around like a child. This location was at the top of my bucket list, and I was overjoyed to be strolling here right now. Because I was smiling so openly, I felt like my mouth was about to be ripped off."You seem to be very happy," Blaze said as he approached my side. "I am, this was one of my dreams," "I'm glad you like it here,"All I saw were lights of various hues that shone brightly. Because I was taking so many photos, my phone was dying. We were both hungry, so we went to dine near the river walk. There was only one restaurant open by midnight, and there were only a few people inside. We handed t
Summer's Point of View"You only book one room?" As I entered the hotel room, I murmured."Yeah, why?""And one bed?" "Yeah, are there any problems with it?""Yes, big problem, Blaze we're not in a relationship or something so why would you like me to share the bed with you?""Does that make sense?" Okay, if you're not comfortable, I'll sleep on the couch," he answered flatly.I was aware of my limitations; yes, he was attractive, but I do not intend to take advantage of him in any way, nor do I want him to take advantage of me in any manner; yet, I was astonished that he booked only one room and bed and considered that to be acceptable. But I also don't want him to sleep on the couch."It's fine, we're not staying here for too long anyway, we can share the bed.""Cool, I'm going to sleep now, alright,"Blaze didn't even change his clothing before going directly to bed and falling asleep. I took a shower before getting ready for bed. He completely blew me away. I was hoping there are
Blaze's Point of View"I'm so dead," Summer exclaimed. We had just returned from our getaway when we noticed her parents waiting outside their home. She hurriedly opened the door and went to them, and I discovered she had not texted them to let them know where she was going."Oh no, this is bad," I thought.I followed her; I believe I should be the one to explain to her parents; after all, it was my idea. When they saw their daughter, her mother's look softened, and his father breathed a sigh of relief. "Mom, I'm sorry, I didn't know you were going home today,""Oh my God, Summer, you still need to tell us when you're going somewhere so we don't need to worry like this," his father said. They are correct; parents should always be aware of their child's whereabouts. As I approached them, his father stared at me.I was going to say a thing when his father came up to me and grabbed me by the collar, his eyes filled with rage."What did you do to my daughter?" He murmured this while clin
Summer's Point of ViewBecause of what I did, I was grounded, and Dad never stopped criticizing me until Mom stopped him. They seized my phone, so I was just lying in bed staring at the ceiling.I went downstairs and observed that it was unusually quiet; I'm guessing that they had already gone to bed. I crept out to their room to retrieve my phone, which was on top of the table next to my parents' bed.I did get my phone back and was ready to leave their room when it began to ring loudly. I dashed upstairs to return to my room and answer the phone."Summer!""Sam?""Yeah, it's me,""Why did you call?" "You do realize I'm grounded, don't you?""Yeah, I know, you said your phone was taken?""Yeah. I went out to retrieve it and then got your call,""Oh, that's cool. "I have something to tell you,""What is it?""I got news that there's a new barista at our favorite bar,""Tom's bar?""Yeah, check it out to see who is it, aren't that exciting?""Are you crazy? "I couldn't do it.""Oh, c'm
Summer's Point of ViewWhen I saw Blaze at our school, he said he was also studying here and handed me his class schedule, and guess what? We attend the same classes."Wow, I guess I will be seeing you everyday now,""Yeah, isn't that fun?" "I guess,"Wasn't that great? I'd be able to see him on a daily basis. We started going to our classrooms; Sam had a different class schedule than us, so she went to her class first, while Blaze and I went to our room together. I sat in the back to avoid being noticed by my classmates; I disliked being the center of attention in school. However, I had become so well-known that I couldn't even hide in the back of the room.Blaze took his seat as well, but I wasn't surprised when he sat beside me; I had expected it. Every girl in our class was staring at him because he was new to our class. He then smiled at them one by one, which irritated me so much that I rolled my eyes at him.He was perplexed by what I did and asked, "Why?" "Did I make a mista
Blaze's Point of ViewI rushed straight to the mansion in search of Brigid, the wolf Summer mentioned being her wolf form. I noticed Keahi interacting with our younger pack members. "Keahi, have you seen Brigid?""She said she would go out," "Where'd she go?""I'm not sure, maybe Tom's?" or for a stroll?"He has no idea, and neither does her sister. Okay, I need to find her before everyone else, so where would I go if I were Brigid? Let me check in at Tom's pub for the time being.Going out here was difficult because this mansion was far too large. Even though I had lived here for decades, the size of the property always bothered me.When I got out, I drove directly to Tom's bar, where I noticed Brigid as soon as I walked in. I was here earlier getting drunk, but she wasn't, so assuming she was attacking Summer's pals earlier, I grabbed her and dragged her out of the pub. Because she was strong, she did not move and refused to accompany me."Don't make it harder for the both us, com
Summer's Point of View"You guys go drive back home, I need to go to someone." In spite of the fact that I was ready to exit Sam's vehicle and head into the woods, I have to go see Blaze."Summer, we're not going to leave you here." "Just do what I say,""It's dangerous, bitch,""Yeah, I'm aware. That's why I want you to leave,""Let's just go, Sam." "I believe Summer has this," Amber chimed in."No, I'm not leaving her here." You go!" I was so tired up with their disagreement that I decided to get out of the car and walk to the forest. I knew Sam wouldn't let me approach the woodland alone, so I was relieved when I heard the car door open again and realized it was her."I told you not to follow me,""If you're going to die, we're both going to die, okay."We heard the vehicle drive away; those idiots were scared as hell. As we enter the woods, Sam clings to me; it was quite dark. Our sole source of light was a flashlight from my phone; I'd been to the mansion twice before, so I sho
Summer's Point of ViewWhile we were enjoying dinner at their mansion, Blaze stated, "If you agreed to marry me."After hearing it, I nearly choked on my food. What the heck? I laughed because I assumed he was joking. "You're not serious, right?" "Hahahah, of course not, remember I am still courting you," "Hahahaha correct,"I decided to return home after we finished our dinner. We ran across Keahi while walking outside the house; he was staring me down. His atmosphere today was odd rather than pleasant."You did not mention you're having a guest today, Blaze." "No, this was not planned." "All I want to do is show Summer our mansion." They were just chatting, but I could sense their tension. Keahi soon walked upstairs and stopped bothering us, so we continued walking away. "What car do you want me to use?" When we arrived in the parking lot, Blaze inquired. There were so many car alternatives that my eyes were wide open due to how beautiful these vehicles are. I chose the Lambo
Blaze's Point of ViewI returned to the mansion after dropping Summer off. What she said has lingered in my thoughts. To court her? That's something I've never done before. Because when I ask a female out, she generally says yes right away. So the entire court experience was new to me."Hey, Tom," "Yow, Blaze," Tom was pouring drinks to the visitors; he was a bartender even here. This guy must adore his work. "Do you have any idea about courting?" "Courting? "What the hell was that?" "Yeah, that's what I was saying," "Is this with Summer?""Yeah, I asked her to be my girlfriend but she said that I need to court her first and work hard for her yes,""Oh, I see, that's new hahaha, anyway good luck for that Blaze," Tom said as he touched my shoulder in encouragement.I turned to Keahi for additional help; Keahi was an expert at flirting and could practically steal a girl's heart. "Keahi!" Because the music was too loud, I yelled."What? Are you blind? "I'm very busy," As I previo
Blaze's Point of ViewIt was so early in the morning, and everyone in the mansion was so busy. The pack and laborers were so preoccupied with decorating the guests' residence. Oh, it was Brigid's birthday today, so we were throwing a big party tonight. I haven't decided on a present for her yet; how about a new car? or perhaps a new house? But I've always purchased her mansions in every nation over the last decade, so I guess I'll have to come up with something fresh. "Blaze, aren't you going to help?" While supervising the entire team, Keahi yelled at me."I can't, I'm sorry," I exited the house and got into my car. I had no intention of accomplishing any of that; I was simply going to the woods.'Do you want to go out, Fernis?' I had a conversation with my wolf.'Hell yeah,''All right, let's get started!'We arrived at the lake in the center of the forest, and Fernis quickly took control of my body; he was just running around, pleased to be free. The woods reminded me of our play
