Still Beta Jace's POV

We are now driving to a club that one of our new friends had previously recommended. When we arrived, there was such a long line that we were thinking about leaving for another place. But then we see Alpha Rainer walking towards us with a smile on his face.

Telling you, I don't like this man. The way he peeks at Mercedes, like an eagle lurking at his prey, fills me with horror. The man does not take into account that Mercedes is in the company of her mate and that his behavior could provoke a fight between Alphas. And the little Luna instinctively feels that she should stay away from him, I notice she holds Zane tighter when that Alpha Rainer is around.

“Hey, if those aren't my precious guests,” he declares cheerfully. “Are you going in too?” I decide to answer for Zane. “We want to, but the line is really too long. This club seems to be very popular.” The Alpha nods, clearly in a good mood. "Come with me. As my guests, you are entitled to a VIP treatment”. He
