That single sentence caused the lively atmosphere to die down immediately, a tension rising in the air.

I then continued staring right at Nikon as if nothing had happened.

As the seconds ticked by, the more I couldn't see his expression the tighter my grip on the pregnancy scans grew.

I even began doubting myself, whether I had been too impulsive. Why did I think I had what it took to crash their wedding?
