The dining hall is packed, and all sense of authority leaves me immediately at the sight. At least 1,000 werewolves are seated, watching us as we make our way to the raised table that faces all the others.
Our chairs face everyone, and we are going to be seated alone, separate from the pack. I will have to address that after with the twins. I don't like the thought of the members being away from us.
Jackson grabs the back of the middle chair and pulls it out while Jason holds my hand while I sit. I slightly blush, but I refuse to look down. If I look down, it will be a sign of weakness. I let my eyes travel around the hall, taking in the faces. I place a welcoming smile on my lips that is returned by many before they lower their eyes respectfully.
