Alexander’s POV

As I step inside the apartment with the kids, I look around, noting the considerable changes that have been made in it. It was soaked to the brim last night, but it’s now back to normal, and only the repairman is left in the kitchen, fixing the tap.

Earlier, I had called for some of the servants from the main mansion to clean up the mess from last night. My goodness, the state they found everything in was alarming! But thanks to their hard work, the apartment now looks fresh and inviting. I’m grateful I didn’t keep any important documents here; that would have been a disaster!

With most of the furniture replaced with new ones, it almost feels like I am in someone else’s place. It’s noon now, and I can’t help but wonder where Sophia is. I haven’t seen her since we left her place. It’s like she’s locked herself up in her own world, separated from us.
