I shifted uncomfortably on the sofa, not exactly sure what to do. The room suddenly felt awkward as Dominic stood politely, looking seriously hot in his tight cut jeans and that t-shirt that didn’t leave anything at all to the imagination.
“Erm..” I said quietly and looked down, “would you like to sit down?” Dominic smiled and nodded his head.
“Thank you,” he said as he sat on the sofa right next to me. I could smell the leather and fire smell again and wondered if it was his aftershave or something. I didn’t know what, but it smelt absolutely beautiful. I wanted to move closer and take a deep breath of it while running my hands down his thick biceps. Oh my god Theia, I thought to myself, what is wrong with you. I needed to move away, for I did something embarrassing. I went to stand up and Dominic held out his hand when I wobbled a little.

(Theia’s POV) I looked in the mirror and groaned. It had been a couple of days since Dominic had come over and I had fallen asleep on him, and embarrassingly drooled all over him. (Theia’s POV) I woke up all snuggled in thick white bedding. I reached out across the bed and it was warm but empty. I opened my eyes to confirm that I was indeed alone. Looking around the room, I could see, from the floor to ceiling windows, that it was still the middle of the night. I found a led clock on the nightstand on the other side of the bed which confirmed that it was just after 3am. I sat up in bed and looked around further. My mind flashed back to my dream the other day, and the similarities to what I was seeing and feeling, right down to me being naked. I pulled myself out of bed and looked around for something to wear. Right there on the floor, much like in my dream, was Dominic’s white shirt. (Theia’s POV)After Dominic and I finally completed the mate bond, I felt like something important was slotting into place. Maybe this puzzle piece wasn’t so bad.
