LOGAN'S POV

When I managed to leave the Botech lab, it was late. I entered my car, then gunned the engine, driving the car as fast as it could go. My once pleasant life had transformed overnight.

I was being attacked by a man that threatened to destroy my reputation, and I also regretted not having time for the woman who cared about me so much.

As soon as I got to the Bohen's household, I pressed my hand down on the horn. The guard in detail peeped out of his window, then proceeded to open the gates as soon as he could.

I drove into the grounds of the huge mansion, then found my way up the elevator which led me to my room.

The room was pitch black and silent, that was why when I switched on the bulb and saw my father, Alphonso, sitting comfortably on my bed, I shrieked.

"Dad! You scared me."

He smiled, and I saw a brief glimpse of the man my father had been years ago, a smiley man that hadn't been burdened by the pressures of becoming a multi millionaire.
