Chapter 88 Parade

(Nikita's P.O.V.)

The first day of the competition has arrived. Everyone who has marked this date on their calendars is expected to watch the parade. All the contestants will be parading in the entire Ambersley territory. Our goal is to find fans to root for us... which I believe is the hardest part to be honest.

How am I supposed to get all of them to like me? I'm not good at waving my hand. I'm sure that no one would waste their time to vote for me.

"C—Can you help me?" Manuel asked. I moved my eyes away from the window to look at him. My eyes went down to the neck tie on his hand. "I can't tie it..." he mumbled. I rolled my eyes. He's really a piece of work.

"And you think I wear tuxedos to ask for my help?" I sarcastically said.

His ears turned pink.

"N—No... You wear dresses, and you look astonishing."

I didn't know how I would react to what he said, so I just grabbed the neck tie from him to break the awkward silence. I pulled his collar to level his neck to my face.
