Chapter 106 Terrible Nightmare

(Nikita's P.O.V.)

Alpha Lucia is still unaware with my pregnancy. I asked Manuel and Nana to keep it a secret. I didn't want to alarm Mother, and the rest of my supporters who are rooting for me.

I'm still thinking about my decisions carefully. Manuel kept insisting that I must drop the competition, but I can't do that. It will mean the whole safety of the pack. I'm afraid that the new leader would cause damage to the pack that my father had built. I don't want to destroy his legacy. I must continue it.

"What would you name it if it's a baby boy?" Nana asked. I paused in folding clothes to look at her. She's smiling kindly at me. It's almost as if she's more excited about my child.

"I don't know. I was never good in naming things that's why my wolf had a very common name," I replied hesitantly. Her brows arched.

"What's your wolf's name?"

"Tala..."

"It's a pretty decent name for a wolf. I don't believe it's common. Don't be pressured, and just tell me what your heart wants, Nikita."
