DANTE'S POV

As I watched Aria leave with Evelyn, I felt a lot of things. Anger? Frustration? Regret? I couldn't quite define it, but I knew one thing for sure – I wasn't happy. Not by a long shot.

Linda moved closer to me, her perfume overwhelming the stuffy air of the hall. "I didn't like the way you shouted at me, Dante," she said, her voice seething with anger.

I sighed, pinching the bridge of my nose. "Maybe you should think before you speak, Linda. Your words can cut deeper than you realize."

She scoffed, flipping her hair over her shoulder. "Oh, please. Don't tell me this is all because of that... that nobody."

I didn't answer. Couldn't answer. The pained look image on Aria's face was seared into my mind, making my chest tighten uncomfortably. Without a word, I started walking back to our table, with Linda's heels clicking annoyingly behind me.

As she gathered her things, Linda suddenly cleared her throat, "It's such a pity we didn't get to meet the Griffith's youngest daughter.

DANTE'S POVFinn nodded, his eyes wide. "Yeah, can you believe it? The Moon Goddess's gift, right there for the taking. Well, if you've got deep enough pockets, that is."My mind raced. The Tears of the Moon Stone was legendary in the kingdom. Said to hold great power, it was the subject of bedtime stories and ancient prophecies. And now, somehow, it was up for auction."How the hell did the Griffiths get their hands on that?" I muttered, speaking more to myself than to Finn.Finn shrugged. "No idea, but it's legit. I double-checked with my sources."I sighed and leaned back in my chair. The Tears of the Moon Stone... could it be the answer to all my problems?"So," Finn said, breaking into my thoughts. "What do you say? Are we going?"I looked at him, then at the clutter of papers on my desk. Then I thought of the Tears of the Moon Stone, and the power it could bring."The Tears of the Moon Stone, huh," I said slowly. Finn nodded eagerly, his eyes sparkling with excitement. After a m

DANTE'S POV"Looking for me?" I repeated, taking a step backward. "Why? What's going on?"She hesitated, her eyes searching mine, then suddenly closed the distance between us. Her lips met mine in a surprising kiss. For a moment, I froze and my mind was spinning. This was not what I had expected.I should have pulled away, but then her hand slipped down, brushing against my dick, and all thoughts of stopping went right out the window."Damn it, Linda," I muttered as I grabbed her, kissing her back with a fierceness I didn't know I had in me.Her body pressed against mine, and for a moment, it felt like nothing else mattered. But then reality snapped back, and I pulled away, breathless."We really shouldn't be doing this," I panted, stepping back. "Linda, you're pregnant. This... it isn't right."She just smiled at me, and without a word, she started unbuttoning her shirt.I quickly turned away. "Linda, stop," I mumbled, my voice strained. "What the hell do you think you are doing?"Bu

LINDA'S POVI woke up to the early morning sunlight filtering through the curtains, my body still warm from last night's passion. As I stretched, I realized that Dante was already gone. A small frown creased my forehead, but I pushed away the disappointment. After all, I was the one in his bed now, not Aria.A smug smile played on my lips as I remembered the way Dante had touched me, the hunger in his eyes. It wasn't love, not yet, but it was a start. I knew I still had work to do to erase Aria from his heart completely, but I was patient. I could wait.My phone vibrated on the nightstand, interrupting my thoughts. I reached for it, squinting at the bright screen. The name that flashed up made my heart skip a beat.It was Jake, the investigator I had hired from the Black Moon pack.I answered quickly, my voice still husky from sleep. "Jake? What's up?""Morning, Linda," Jake's rough voice came through. "Sorry for waking you up, but I figured you would want an update."I sat up, sudden

ARIA'S POVI arrived at Adam's company and saw that the place was bustling, filled with people in suits and hurried voices. Everyone seemed to have somewhere important to be.As I headed to his office, I was greeted by a few familiar faces – Adam’s receptionist and a couple of his top executives gave me polite nods.I kept my head high, even though I was feeling anything but calm. When I finally got to Adam's floor, I was met by yet another friendly face, Adam’s personal secretary, Tina.“Princess Aria,” she greeted warmly. “I didn’t know you were coming today. Alpha Adam’s in his office — do you need me to let him know you’re here?”I shook my head, offering a small smile. “No need, Tina. It's a surprise visit, so I’ll just go in.”I didn’t give her time to protest as I walked past. I knew Adam’s company like the back of my hand; I had been here enough times, so I knew exactly where I was going. Finally, I got to his office, and without bothering to knock, I pushed the door open.Ada

ARIA'S POVThe auction hall was buzzing with excitement as I quietly made my way into the shadows, feeling both excited and nervous. It was finally the day of the auction, and the room was packed with all the faces I had expected and some I hadn’t.The tension in the atmosphere was thick. Everyone was here for one thing, and one thing only: the Tears of the Moonstone. From my corner, I watched them all. They were gathered in small clusters, speaking quietly but with intensity, discussing in hushed whispers about the artefact. There was a sense of desperation, almost greed, that filled the room, as if the Tears of the Moonstone was more than just a piece of jewelry. To them, it was power, magic, something that could change everything."I heard it enhances the speed of werewolves," one man murmured to another, his voice barely audible but filled with certainty. He was tall, with silver-streaked hair and a suit that screamed old money. "Stronger too. The kind of strength you don’t get fr

DANTE'S POVI furrowed my brow as I looked around the hall.Go through the catalogue? I thought they were beginning already. Why the unnecessary waste of time?Confused, I looked around the hall and surprisingly I saw Aria stepping out of the shadows. She moved with purpose, her chin held high, dressed in a sleek, dark green dress that hugged her figure and sparkled under the lights. Her presence commanded the room's attention, and she got it — all eyes were on her, including mine. My breath caught in my throat, and I couldn’t look away. However, not everyone was as captivated as I was.“Look who finally decided to crawl out from her hiding place after weeks of silence,” my mother sneered beside me, her voice filled with contempt. Her eyes followed Aria with a look that could kill. “Aria, the outcast of the Crescent Moon pack. Rejected, abandoned, and still hasn’t learned her place.”I winced at her words, my chest tightening with discomfort.“Honestly, it’s so pathetic,” my mother co

DANTE'S POVI eventually looked away from Aria as I glanced down at the seat numbers on the invite in my hand, trying to make sense of the row and seat assignments. They had arranged the seating based on net worth, a clear, unspoken hierarchy on display for everyone to see.“Looks like we are in the front row,” Arnold said next to me, nudging me with his elbow. He was grinning, as if sitting in the front row was some great achievement. “Right up there where the big players sit.”I nodded, trying to muster some excitement, but my thoughts were elsewhere. The front row seats didn’t impress me much. They were just a reminder of the expectations placed on people like us, and the pressure to always be seen and never make a mistake.Yet, Arnold, my oldest friend, was thoroughly enjoying himself. He thrived on the attention and the validation that came with being seated at the top of the pecking order. We settled into our seats, the velvet cushions plush and ridiculously comfortable. I leane

ARIA'S POVThe moment I sat down, the whispers started. Some giggles could be heard from the rows in front of me, barely hidden behind raised hands and fake coughs.Just then, a burst of laughter spread through the nearby crowd. I felt my cheeks burn but kept my chin high.A woman with a bird-like face and too much jewelry leaned in my direction. "Oh, honey," she said, her voice filled with false sympathy. "Are you sure you want to sit there? It's awfully far from the action."I met her gaze calmly. "I'm quite comfortable, thank you."Another woman, younger but with the same predatory look in her eye, added. "Guess she didn’t win the favour of Griffith’s eldest son after all.”Her friend laughed and glanced back at me with a mocking smile. “Or maybe she’s just fallen out of favour.”More giggles broke out, but I clenched my fists in my lap, willing myself to stay calm."Come on now," an older gentleman chuckled. "Let's not be too hard on the girl. Maybe she's just here to serve drinks

ARIA'S POV Just when I thought that I was done answering unexpected questions, someone else suddenly stood up, his pen ready over his notepad. “Ms. Aria,” he began, “you mentioned your identity as the Griffith princess earlier. Why did you keep your identity hidden for so long?”The whispers started again, but I took a deep breath. “My identity wasn’t something I intentionally hid,” I replied. “It was just not relevant to my work. I wanted to build a career based on my talent, not my name.”The whispers grew louder, and another reporter quickly followed up. “Did your family know about this? Were they supportive of your decision to stay under the radar?”I hesitated for a moment before answering. “My family has always supported me in their own way. They understood that I needed to find my path independently.”A woman in the crowd raised her hand, her tone sharp. “Does that mean the Griffith Alpha approved of you working as a designer instead of taking on more... traditional duties as

ARIA'S POV Standing on the stage, with the lights shining down on me, I could feel the weight of every pair of eyes in the room. The air was filled with whispers, astonishment spreading through the crowd like a wave.“Wait, is that really Aria?” one woman gasped, her voice loud enough to carry across the hall.“It can’t be,” another muttered. “The same Aria? The former Luna without a wolf? Alpha Dante's ex-wife?”A man beside them leaned in, his tone filled with disbelief. “She designed this jewelry? This masterpiece?”I held my head high, feeling my heart race in my chest as I looked out at the crowd. I didn’t need to see Linda to know she was somewhere in the crowd, her lips likely pressed into a tight line as she tried to keep her composure. The memory of her mockery earlier hurt, but now it only fueled my determination. In the midst of the whispers, I lifted the microphone, and the room slowly fell quiet, except for the occasional hushed remark.“Good evening, everyone,” I began

ARIA'S POVThe day of the launch had finally come. My heart raced as I stood in the waiting area, taking deep breaths to calm myself. Evelyn had already gone ahead to the venue full of energy as she prepared to impress the guests. I told her I would follow shortly. This was my first public appearance, and I needed a moment alone to gather myself.I adjusted the green satin dress Evelyn had chosen for me, its fabric cool against my skin. I felt a strange mix of excitement and fear. What if they don’t like my work? What if I mess up? My thoughts spiraled, but I shook my head. “No, Aria, you’ve worked too hard for this. You belong here,” I whispered to myself. As I smoothed my dress and prepared to walk into the venue, my phone buzzed in my clutch. For a moment, I considered ignoring it, thinking it might be Evelyn or some last minute update about the launch. But when I glanced at the screen, I saw “Mother” flashing, and my heart softened.I swiped to answer, holding the phone to my

  • The Alpha’s Hidden Heiress   Chapter 193

DANTE'S POVThe moment Aria left, her image stayed with me, as if burned into my mind. She had looked so elegant in that green dress, the satin flowing around her like ripples on a calm lake. Her skin had seemed even more radiant against the fabric, smooth and untouched by the world’s harshness. I clenched my fists at my sides, silently cursing myself. Months had passed since I last saw her, and not once had I tried to talk to her, not even to explain. What kind of man was I? I was always so… dumb.“Dante! Dante!”Linda’s voice cut through my thoughts, sharp and urgent. I turned to see her staring at me, and for a brief moment, I thought I saw something fierce in her eyes—a flash of anger or jealousy. But it disappeared just as quickly, making me wonder if I had imagined it.“Are you even listening to me?” she asked, her voice laced with annoyance.“Sorry,” I muttered, rubbing the back of my neck. “What did you say?”“I said,” Linda began, her tone cold, “we need to find a suit fo

  • The Alpha’s Hidden Heiress   Chapter 192

ARIA'S POV The boutique’s atmosphere suddenly felt suffocating, the air too thick to breathe. My hands clutched the fabric of the dress I was wearing, and my mind raced. The last time I had seen Linda and Dante was months ago, and back then, everything between us had been sharp edges and unspoken resentment. So why now, as they stood just a few feet away, did Linda smile warmly as if nothing had ever happened?I couldn’t move. My feet felt like they were glued to the floor as I stared at them. Time went by, and I suddenly realized that I must have been standing still for longer than I thought because, to my surprise, Linda was the one who came up to me."Aria, are you okay? You look like you've seen a ghost," Linda's voice was cheerful, her smile wide. “It’s been such a long time!”I blinked, trying to process what was actually happening. Was I imagining things? Friendly? Warm? Linda? The woman who once made it clear that she couldn’t stand me? The same Linda who was always ready

ARIA'S POV My day started with Evelyn arriving at my house. She barely let me finish my morning coffee before dragging me out the door.“Aria, we have two days until your big launch, and we have to find you the perfect outfit. Something bold, something unforgettable.”I rolled my eyes but let her pull me along. “Evelyn, it’s just a launch. I don’t need anything too extravagant.”“Just a launch?” She stopped in her tracks and turned to glare at me. “Aria, this isn’t just a launch. It’s your debut! Everyone will be looking at you. You need to look like the star you are.”Evelyn took me to D.M., the most luxurious boutique in the city. Even from the outside, the store screamed luxury. The glass doors sparkled, and the golden lettering of its name shone in the sunlight.“Evelyn,” I said hesitantly, “this place is... a bit much.”“Exactly,” she replied with a grin, grabbing my arm and pulling me inside. The moment we stepped in, staff members greeted us with warm smiles and excellent mann

  • The Alpha’s Hidden Heiress   Chapter 190

ARIA'S POVThe next day, I thought Evelyn might have forgotten all about the idea of a launch. After all, she had a habit of getting overly excited about things and then moving on to her next big idea. But when we met up, I quickly realized I was wrong.Evelyn greeted me with an energy that could light up a room. “Aria, I’ve been thinking about it all night,” she said, sitting down across from me.“Thinking about what?” I asked cautiously, though I already had a sinking feeling.“The launch, of course!” she exclaimed, her smile widening. “It was all I could think about. We have to do this, Aria. It’s going to be incredible!”I sighed. “Evelyn, I thought you were just throwing the idea out there yesterday. I didn’t think you were serious.”“Aria, you can’t keep a piece like ‘Tears of the Mermaid’ hidden.”And just like that, I found myself cornered, her eagerness too overwhelming to ignore. “I really don’t know if I can do this,” I said, fiddling nervously with the edge of my notebook

ARIA'S POV The gentle hum of the plane engines was a soft background noise, and the dim cabin lights made it easy to drift into sleep.I leaned back against my seat, exhaustion weighing heavily on me. Everything from the past few days replayed in my mind—Kieran’s fierce battle, the feast, his final words as we parted.I wasn’t sure when I finally closed my eyes, but when I woke up, Adam was gently shaking my shoulder.“Aria, wake up. We are home,” he said softly.I blinked, trying to shake off the sleepiness. The sight outside the window confirmed his words: the familiar tarmac of home greeted me, and standing there were my parents and Ryan. The moment I stepped off the plane, my mother rushed forward and pulled me into a tight embrace. Her arms were warm and trembling slightly as she held me close.“You’re safe,” she whispered, her voice thick with emotion. “You’re finally home.”Tears welled up in my eyes as I hugged her back. “I’m sorry, Mother. I didn’t mean to worry you. I prom

ARIA'S POV The palace was quiet now, but the air felt heavy with everything that had happened. Alpha Mason was gone, and the rebellion was finally over. Kieran was still standing on the grass where the final fight had ended, his shoulders straight, but his eyes distant. His victory was clear, but there was no celebration in his stance.Adam and Finn stood a little away from me, deep in conversation. They were talking about our return home. “We need to leave soon,” Adam said, his tone firm. “Aria has helped Kieran just as she wanted, so her mission is complete, and it’s time to go.”I heard Finn agree, but my attention wasn’t on their words. My gaze lingered on Kieran, and I felt a tug in my chest. He looked alone, even with so many of his people surrounding him.“I need a moment,” I said softly, walking away from Adam and Finn before they could stop me.“Kieran,” I called gently as I approached him.He turned, his expression softening when he saw me. “Aria,” he said, his voice low
