DANTE'S POV

The first thing I saw when I opened my eyes was the white ceiling of the hospital room.

Blinking against the harsh brightness, I felt a strange, disoriented fog clouding my mind. It was as though I had been asleep for a long time, so long that the silence around me seemed almost unnatural, like an endless ringing in my ears.

Was this… the afterlife? Was I… dead?

A sense of unease crept over me, and as my senses slowly returned, I started to realize that I was very much alive.

The quiet in my head gradually faded, and I began to hear voices coming from outside the door, as though a crowd was gathered.

I couldn’t catch every word, but there was one voice that stood out among the rest, sharper and louder than the others.

It was my mother's.

As the memory hit me, I flinched, and the sudden movement sent a ripple of pain through my body. I groaned, barely able to lift my head, but slowly, I turned to look around the room.

The bed beside me was empty, and the room was also empty

DANTE'S POVI rushed forward, ignoring the sharp, tearing pain that flared through my chest with every step.My body protested, reminding me of every injury, every burn, and every scrape. But I couldn’t stop. Not when I saw the way Aria’s face had turned pale. She looked so small, so tired, caught in a storm she didn’t deserve. As soon as I reached her side, I wrapped my arms around her shoulders and pulled her close to shield her from the guards and the tense atmosphere. The pain hit me in waves, and I winced, clenching my teeth to keep myself from bending over. But when I looked down at her, nothing else mattered.“Aria,” I whispered, my voice barely steady, my hands trembling as I held her close. “Are you okay? Are you hurt anywhere? Do you feel sick?”Aria’s wide, surprised eyes met mine, and for a second, it was as if time stood still. She blinked, her lips parting slightly as she whispered my name, almost like she was saying it for the first time. “Dante? You’re… you’re awake?”

DANTE'S POVThe silence that settled over the hallway was heavy as my question hung in the air, lingering between Adam and me.All eyes were on us, waiting, as though they too wanted to know what his answer would be.But he didn’t say anything.Adam’s eyes met mine, and there was something in his expression that I couldn’t quite understand. A flash of something like guilt, or maybe it was frustration—I just couldn’t tell.He looked down, his jaw clenched, and it was as though he was wrestling with something inside himself, something he couldn’t, or wouldn’t want to say.My mother, who had been shouting just moments ago, was now standing quietly, looking at Adam with a suspicious gleam in her eye. Linda,on the other hand, was restless, her gaze flickering between Adam and me.And as for me? I felt a cold, creeping doubt slowly spread into my chest as I stood there, staring at the man who, apparently, had saved my life.Suddenly, my mind began to wander, piecing together every piece of

DANTE'S POVThe command was still ringing in the air when my mother opened her mouth to say something, her expression fierce and ready to argue. But before she could get a word out, I turned to her, giving her a look that I knew left no room for discussion.A low growl escaped my mouth, and I saw her flinch, her shoulders dropping just enough for me to know that I had gotten through to her. She lowered her head, though her face was tight with a barely hidden frown.I let out a scoff, feeling the frustration building up inside me. Shaking my head, I turned away from everyone and began walking back to my room.Every step I took felt heavier than the last. My chest was tight, my mind racing with a mess of emotions I couldn’t sort out—anger, hurt, confusion. I couldn’t even bring myself to look back at Aria. I didn’t want her to see me like this, to see my weakness or see that I was jealous. As I reached my room, I gave one final order to the guards stationed outside.“No one is allowed

ARIA'S POVBy the time Adam brought me back to my hospital room, I felt like I was walking through a fog.Everything that had happened today seemed to cling to me like a heavy burden—the shock of seeing Dante awake, the accusations from his mother, Linda’s mocking words.I could barely even process any of it; it was as if the ground had shifted beneath my feet, leaving me feeling off-balance, lost.As I sat down on the small couch in the corner of the room, Adam placed a glass of water in front of me. With shaky hands, I reached for it, hoping that a sip might help clear the weight pressing on my chest.Adam took the seat across from me, leaning back with that familiar, confident look, though this time there was an edge of sarcasm in his expression. “So,” he began, an eyebrow raised. “Are you still planning on going back to see him? I mean, since you’re so… love struck?”I met his gaze, feeling my face flush at his mocking tone. His eyes were searching, waiting, as if he knew exactly

FINN'S POVDante’s eyes narrowed even more, his gaze never leaving mine. “Don’t play coy with me, Finn. You’ve been acting strange. Ever since I woke up, there’s been this… tension. Something isn’t right, and I can feel it. You’re not telling me everything.”I swallowed, feeling the walls I had built around my secrets start to crack. “Dante, you just woke up,” I said, choosing my words carefully, buying myself time. “Maybe it’s all… it’s overwhelming. Maybe that’s why things feel off.”He didn’t buy it. “Maybe,” he said, though his voice held no conviction. “Or maybe you’re just trying to avoid telling me the truth. The real truth.” His gaze hardened, his voice dropping to a low, dangerous tone. “So why don’t you tell me what’s really going on, Finn?”The air in the room suddenly became thick with tension as Dante looked at me, waiting for answers I wasn’t sure I could give."Dante," I began carefully, choosing my words slowly. "Honestly, a lot happened while you were out, and honestl

FINN'S POVOnce I was sure Dante was deeply asleep, I quietly left his room, carefully closing the door behind me.The hallway was quiet, except for the faint sound of machines beeping softly from distant rooms, but I wasn’t taking any chances. I motioned to the two guards I had stationed outside his door, their expressions sharp and focused as they snapped to attention when I approached.“You both are to make sure no harm comes to him. No unauthorized person is allowed to enter. Do you understand?” I kept my voice low but firm, letting the weight of my words settle in.They nodded immediately, but something about their eager expressions made me feel the need to repeat myself, adding a subtle but very real warning. “If anything happens to Alpha Dante,” I said, voice hardened, “there’ll be hell to pay. Understood?”They exchanged a quick glance and nodded more seriously this time.Satisfied, I turned and made my way down the corridor, pushing through the heavy thoughts that clung to me

ADAM'S POVThe loud ring of my phone cut through the silence, breaking my focus as I looked over a map spread out on my desk.Finn’s name flashed on the screen, and I took a steadying breath, my mind already racing. I had half-expected this call, after the whole thing that went down today, so if he was calling me, it meant that he had something very important to say. I just hoped that whatever it was, it was good news.Swiping the screen, I lifted the phone to my ear. “Finn.”“Adam.” His voice was tense, but steady. “I need your help finding the rogue wolf that caused the accident. I can’t let him escape, not after everything he’s done to Aria and Dante.”Hearing the strain in his tone, I couldn’t help but respect his determination. Ever since Finn and I started talking, I had noticed that he had always had a way of speaking that made people listen, but now he sounded determined in a way I hadn’t heard before. “Good,” I replied simply. “But first, I’ll send you some things to get you

The little things had changed—he would look at me with a strange intensity, his words sometimes turning into cryptic questions or lingering silences. It was almost as if he had found out something, something I didn’t want him to know. But I wasn’t going to just wait around to finad out if my suspicions were right.I had to go see him, I had to know if he had done something stupid that had caught Finn's attention. As soon as I saw an opportunity, I slipped out without telling a soul and drove towards the cabin.I drove until the town disappeared, the paved roads giving way to gravel roads that clawed up through the hills. A dense stretch of forest rose around me, making me feel like the only person left in the world. And then, up ahead, the cabin came into view. The cabin was nothing much to look at, worn down and barely holding together. It felt like a part of the forest itself, hunched and tired, with vines creeping up its wooden sides l

ARIA'S POV I really couldn't believe that we were completely surrounded. I was hoping that, maybe I was just imagining things. But I wasn't.The soldiers continued to walk closer with their weapons drawn, their eyes cold and unflinching. Kieran stood in front of me, his body tense and defensive, his gun pointed at the soldier in the front.I could feel the fear in my chest, but I couldn't let it take over. The leading soldier stepped closer, his weapon raised. The glint of the blade in the evening light sent a chill down my spine."Stay back!" Kieran barked, his voice strong and sharp. He didn't lower his gun. "Don't come any closer."The soldier didn't stop. Instead, he just kept walking toward us as if Kieran hadn't said a word."I said, stop!" Kieran yelled again. The designer, Elena, stood beside him, her voice filled with panic. "You need to back off! Don't you dare come any closer!"But it was like the soldiers were deaf. Every sound, every breath felt louder, as if the very air in the room was pressing down on me.The designer didn't say anything to Kieran's question. My heart raced as she turned to face us, a smirk playing on her lips.“What… what the hell are you doing?” I asked, my voice trembling.Kieran adjusted himself in front of me, his eyes narrowing at the woman. “You should stay back,” he warned, his voice firm. The designer didn’t answer right away. Instead, she took a cautious step forward, holding the gun at her side. Kieran and I took a step back, unconsciously mirroring her movement. My palms were sweaty, and my mind raced with questions. Then, out of nowhere, she spoke.“Your Highness,” she said, her voice trembling slightly. “Don’t you recognize me?”I froze, blinking in shock. “What?” I managed

ARIA'S POV The room was quiet, but not the kind of peaceful quiet. It was the heavy, suffocating kind, filled with fear and uncertainty. I sat on the edge of the bed, staring at the door, my heart racing. Every minute that passed brought me closer to the wedding I didn’t want.Kieran paced back and forth near the window, his face tight with concentration. He had been trying to come up with a plan for hours, but nothing seemed to work. “What if we create a distraction?” I asked, breaking the silence. My voice was shaky, but I tried to sound calm. “Something to draw the guards away, even for a few minutes?”Kieran stopped pacing and looked at me, his brows furrowed. “And what would the distraction be, Aria?”I hesitated, wringing my hands. “I… I don’t know. Maybe something with fire or smoke?”He shook his head. “Too risky. The guards would panic, and the entire place would go into lockdown. It would only make things worse.”I let out a frustrated sigh, burying my face in my hands. “

ADAM'S POV The airport was buzzing with activity when I arrived. The bright lights reflected off the polished floors, and the noise of people rushing to catch their flights was overwhelming. I adjusted my bag on my shoulder and glanced around, looking for Finn. A dozen bodyguards surrounded me, their presence heavy and serious, as if we were preparing for war.Just then, I saw Finn leaning against a pillar near the private jet terminal. He looked up as I approached, his expression unreadable.“You’re here,” he said simply, pushing off the pillar and walking towards me.“Of course I’m here,” I replied, my voice tight. “We don’t have time to waste.”Finn glanced at the group of bodyguards behind me and raised an eyebrow. “You really think you need all of them?”I gave him a sharp look. “I’m not taking any chances, Finn. If something’s happened to Aria, we might need them.”He didn’t argue, but his expression said enough. He thought I was being overly cautious, maybe even paranoid. But

ADAM'S POVI was sitting at my desk when the news hit me like a punch to the stomach. The words on the screen didn’t make sense at first, and I had to read them again. “Alpha Mason of the Astral Pack to marry Aria, the Griffith princess of the Blood Moon Pack tomorrow.”The Griffith princess? Aria? My sister? My heartbeat thundered in my ears as the weight of those words sank in. Aria was getting married? To Alpha Mason? “No way,” I muttered, leaning forward, my hands gripping the edge of the desk. My thoughts were racing so fast that I could barely keep up. Why would she agree to a marriage like this?I grabbed my phone and quickly searched for more information. There were already articles popping up, but they all said the same thing: Aria Griffith is set to marry Alpha Mason in the Astral Pack.“No,” I whispered under my breath, shaking my head. This couldn’t be right. I didn’t waste another second. My fingers flew over my phone as I tried to call her. I pressed her name, held

KIERAN'S POV The wedding was set for tomorrow. Tomorrow! The word echoed in my mind like a warning bell. I didn’t have more time. If I waited even a moment longer, it would be too late. Aria would be trapped forever tied to that monster of an Alpha. I couldn’t let that happen. I wouldn’t let that happen. My plan was dangerous and messy, but it was all I had. Sitting outside the palace in the shadows, I watched carefully, observing everything—the guards, the maids, their routines. It was just after sunset when I spotted her. A young maid walking towards the side door of the palace. She was alone, carrying a tray. Perfect.I moved quickly, staying low, my steps silent. When she turned the corner, I was already behind her. Before she could scream, I grabbed her from behind, one arm around her mouth, the other holding her firmly in place. “Shh!” I hissed. “I don’t want to hurt you.”She kicked and squirmed, her tray clattering to the ground, but I tightened my grip. “Stop and liste

KIERAN'S POV I paced back and forth in the shadows of the old inn, my mind spinning in every direction. How could this happen?Just hours ago, I had been racking my brain for a way to rescue Aria, but nothing made sense. Then, out of nowhere, I heard the strangest news: Alpha Mason was getting married. At first, I ignored it. I didn’t care about his ridiculous celebrations. What did a wedding have to do with me? But then I heard something else. The bride was the Griffith princess of the Blood Moon Pack.I froze the second I heard it. The Blood Moon Pack was legendary, one of the largest and most powerful families among werewolves. Their influence stretched far and wide. If Mason was marrying into that family, it meant one thing: power. But then another thought hit me. Aria.Could it be?I shook my head at first. No, there was no way. I had spent days trying to figure out where they took Aria. There was no mention of a mate or a wedding before now. It didn’t add up. Yet, deep down,

ARIA'S POV I sat on the edge of the massive bed, staring at the walls around me. The room was far too big, far too fancy, and yet it felt like a prison. My mind was a tangled mess, with my thoughts crashing into one another like waves during a storm. What should I do? How do I get out of here?Pacing the room restlessly, I clenched my hands together. My body ached from all the struggling earlier, but I couldn't bring myself to sit still.I instinctively reached for my phone, driven by desperation. My heart dropped when I realized it was missing.Had the soldiers taken it from me when they dragged me here? I let out a frustrated sigh and ran a hand through my tangled hair. “Of course,” I muttered to myself bitterly. “Why wouldn’t they?”The silence of the room was unbearable. I rushed to the door, banging my fist against it. “Hello? Is anyone there?” My voice was loud, shaking slightly, but no one answered.I banged harder. “I know you’re out there! Don’t pretend you can’t hear me!”

ARIA'S POV The man stood at the far end of the room, his tall figure casting a long shadow under the dim golden light. His face was unforgettable, not because of its strength but because of the scar. A jagged line started at his forehead and ran down to his mouth, pulling one corner of his lips into a permanent sneer. He looked terrifying, like someone who had lived through a war and walked out more dangerous than ever.I swallowed hard as his piercing eyes locked onto mine. His stare felt like a weight pressing down on my chest. Slowly, he began to move, each step measured, like a predator closing in on prey. My breathing quickened, but I forced myself to stay calm.“You’re the princess of the Griffith Pack?” His voice was rough, broken, like every word scraped his throat raw.I froze, the words catching in my throat. Could he tell I was scared? I tried to keep my voice steady. “Yes,” I said, barely above a whisper. His gaze narrowed, suspicion flashing across his scarred face. “P
