I dropped from the cab and hurried into the castle. I just received a phone call informing me that Logan was injured in an accident, so I decided to come and check on him. I wonder why he did not even care to tell me

I walked into his Chambers then further to his bedroom. I didn't bother knocking, it's not like I am supposed to anyway, it's my future bedroom.

Blake, his Beta was sitting beside the bed while Logan was laying on it. Blake excused himself the moment he saw me. I don't get along with him and there is no doubt that he does not like me either.

"Babe," I called as I sat beside him, close to where Blake was previously seated.

There was not much evidence of the injury visible as it had almost healed up completely.

"What happened?" I queried.

"It's nothing Lucy, I am alright," he replied and gave me a fake smile. Yeah, that was definitely a fake one.

"Don't tell me it's nothing Logan, you were in an accident, tell me. How did it happen?" I qu
