The romantic moment

Wade, the Alpha of the Nightfall pack, stood on the balcony of his den, gazing out at the moonlit sky. It was a clear night, and the stars shone brightly above. As he watched the moon rise higher in the sky, he felt a sense of peace and contentment. And then, he felt a hand on his shoulder. He turned to see his mate, Harriet, standing there, a smile on her face.

"Come away from the railing, my love," she said, her voice gentle. "You need to rest."

Wade smiled and turned to face her. "I'm fine, my dear," he said. "There's something calming about the night sky, about the moonlight. It helps me to forget about the worries of the day."

Harriet smiled and moved closer to him, wrapping her arms around his waist. "I know the feeling," she said. "But I don't want you to burn yourself out. You work so hard for the pack, and you need to rest sometimes."
