Chapter 4:
Harriot POV
I woke up feeling disoriented. I looked around and realized that I was in a beautiful room with intricate designs on the walls and ceiling, a king-sized bed and a wardrobe filled with clothes. I was brought in by Wade's Beta, Orien. I begin to reflect on the past and how my family was attacked by Wade's pack and saved by him. I couldn't help the tears flowing down my cheeks, I sobbed like a baby. I can't imagine living under a roof that had my family killed. I hope I can forgive them, I said to myself.
As I was trying to make sense of my surroundings, the door opened and a man walked in. He was tall, and muscular, with jet-black hair and piercing black eyes. He was wearing a white shirt and black pants and he looked intimidating.
"Who are you?" I asked, my voice trembling.
"I am Alpha Wade Black," he said, his voice deep and commanding. "And you, my dear, are my prisoner."
It seems I'm losing my mind. I'm surprised why I couldn't recognise his face, someone who spared my life, that's funny. At that moment I realized I needed to rest and get myself organized.
I couldn't believe what I was hearing. "Why am I your prisoner?"
I don't understand you since the day I stepped into this pack. Why am I your prisoner? Why did you have to mention me to your guards yesterday as yours?
Alpha Wade walked closer to me and looked deep into my eyes. "Because you belong to me, little Luna."
I had no clue what he meant. "I don't understand. Little Luna?"
Alpha Wade sighed. "You're an Omega, Harriet. And I am an Alpha. You are my mate, my Luna. You belong to me."
I felt my world turning upside down. I had been abused and harassed by her arranged mate and family now this Alpha, whom I barely know, He's claiming me as his own. I didn't know how to react.
"I don't belong to anyone," I said, standing up and trying to walk past him.
But Alpha Wade was quick to grab my arm. "Oh no, Harriet. You can't leave. Your life is in danger out there. I can protect you. You're safe here with me."
I knew he was right. I had nowhere to go. I was all alone in the world now. And he was my only hope.
"Fine," I said, looking up at him with my green eyes. "But I'm not your prisoner. And I will never be anyone's property."
Alpha Wade smirked. "We'll see about that, little Luna."
I plan to escape from the Red Flange pack later in the evening because I can't imagine myself as someone's property I barely know
That fateful evening, while I was out in the woods trying to navigate a route of escape, I heard a loud growl coming from behind me. I immediately knew that it was a wolf from a rival pack. I tried to run, but it was too late. The wolf tackled me and pinned me to the ground with a snarl.
I tried to defend myself, but I wasn't strong enough. The wolf bit my throat, and I could feel the warm blood flowing out of the wound. I knew that this was it, the end of my miserable life. But then, something strange happened. I started to glow with a bright green light, and the wolf backed off, scared.
Suddenly, the world went black, and I found myself lying on the ground, confused and disoriented. I couldn't move, and everything around me was blurry. When my vision cleared, I saw a man, not a stranger but looking familiar, standing over me, with piercing black eyes.
Oh!!! It was Alpha Wade.
I'm glad he came so fast to save me on time.
Alpha Wade explained, " I had sensed your distress and had come to check on you. When I saw the wolf attacking you, I set in and used my Alpha powers to drive the wolf away."
I was amazed by Wade's kindness and strength. I had never seen anything like it before. He gently lifted me and asked his beta to walk me back to his pack's territory. His beta orien took care of my wounds.
In the days that followed, I discovered that Wade was not just any Alpha. He was a compassionate leader who cared for his pack members, unlike my father, who was only interested in power and control.
—--------
I woke up the next day with body aches. I sat up in bed and rubbed my eyes. Wade change my room, my room is now closer to his. I had been brought here by Alpha's beta, Orien after yesterday's incident.
I got out of bed and looked around the room. It was a simple room with a large bed, a dresser, and a small nightstand. I walked over to the dresser and opened the drawers. Inside, I found some clothes. I picked out a pair of sweatpants and a T-shirt and got dressed.
As I was leaving the room, l bumped into Orien. "Good morning, Harriet," he said with a smile. "How are you feeling?"
"I'm okay, thank you," I replied. "Can you tell me where I am?"
"You're in the Alpha's special guest room," Orien said. "He wanted to make sure you were okay after what happened in the woods."
My heart skipped a beat when I heard the word 'Alpha.' I was scared of him, just hearing his name alone the Alpha – how he was the most powerful wolf in the pack, how he was feared by everyone, and how he was ruthless in his dealings. I saw how he defeated the wolf. He saved my life for the second time. I didn't know what to expect when I meet him.
Orien led me to the dining room, where the Alpha was waiting for me. My eyes widened when I saw him. I began to steer at his jet-black hair and piercing black eyes that seemed to look right through me. I couldn't help but feel a little afraid of him.
"Good morning, Harriet," the Alpha Wade said, his voice deep and commanding. "I hope you slept well."
"Yes, thank you," I replied, trying to hide my nervousness.
The Alpha gestured for me to sit down at the table, and we began to eat breakfast together. I couldn't believe I was sitting with the Alpha, eating breakfast in his house. I had never felt so out of place before.
After breakfast, the Alpha took me on a tour of his house. He showed me his library, his gym, and his office. I was amazed at how luxurious everything was – the Alpha lived a very comfortable life.
As we were walking through the garden, the Alpha turned to me. "Harriet, I wanted to talk to you about something," he said.
He was interrupted by Orien. Excuse me, sir, your uncle seeks your attention and says it is urgent.
Alpha Wade excuses himself from Harriot's saying.
" Orien please lead her back to her room, I don't want her escaping again."
I felt my heart rate increase. I didn't know what he wanted to talk about, but I knew it couldn't be good.
"I've been thinking about what Alpha wants to tell me," I said to Orien,"
Orien said, "Relax, you will be fine, Alpha has a good heart, trust me, it's nothing bad, you don't need to be scared."
Don't you have a clue please, "I said with anxiety in my voice."
"No Orien said just relax, please. All I can say is he has something positive to say.
He was happy that you could at least fight the wolf before his intervention, it shows you have some strength as a Luna. He sings praises of you all through the night with smiles on his face."
Now I feel a bit relieved.
"Thanks, I said with a smile. "
"You are welcome, Orien said."
Alpha Wade joined as they were about to enter Harriot's room.
I said with my face bent down, I tried avoiding eye contact with him, I said to him your meeting with your uncle was brief"
"Yes, it is," Alpha Wade said.
Alpha continued
Alpha said. "I watched you as you fought the wolf yesterday before I came to defeat him. And I think you have the potential to be a great leader. You have strong instincts and a kind heart. I believe you could make a real difference in our pack."
Me?" I asked
"Yes, you."
I couldn't believe what I was hearing. The Alpha wanted me to help him lead the pack. It was an incredible honour, but it was also a huge responsibility. I would have to work hard to prove myself worthy.
"I would be honoured to help you, Alpha," I said, with determination in my voice.
Alpha smiled, and for the first time, I saw a softer side of him. "Good," he said. "I think we're going to do great things together, Harriet. You and me… we're going to change the pack for the better."
And with that, I knew I had found my purpose. I was going to be the Alpha's Green-Eyed Luna – strong, brave, and determined to make a difference in the pack.
Chapter 5: Harriet POVI had been in the pack for a week now and learning more and more about the wolf ways with every passing day. One of the things that intrigued me the most was the idea of hunting as a pack.I had been asking Alpha Wade about it since our closeness, and he had finally agreed to take me on my first hunt.He said, "We would be hunting some number of hunters that had been spotted a few miles away from the pack's territory."I was excited but also nervous. I had never hunted before, let alone as a wolf. I knew that I had to trust my instincts and work with the pack if we were going to be successful.I replied, "Okay, Thanks Alpha Wade for this opportunity."The night of the hunt arrived, and the pack gathered together. Alpha Wade gave a rallying howl, and we all set off in the direction of the hunters. With each step, I could feel my senses heighten. I could smell the hunter's scent in the distance and hear their hooves thudding on the ground. I could sense the excit
Chapter 6After several weeks of living in the pack, I had grown accustomed to the routine of life in the forest. I had begun to form friendships with some of the other wolves, often joining them for hunts or simply running through the woods together. One day, while the pack was out hunting, we discovered two lone wolves a male and a female who had been injured in a skirmish with a rival pack. The wolves were clearly in pain and need of assistance, and Alpha Wade quickly ordered the pack to bring the injured wolves back to our pack. Alpha Wade said " Bring them in quickly"They were brought in and we dressed them properly. After a few hours, the pack spent time getting to know the new members. I asked the lone wolves to tell us about themself. I asked the lone wolves in my innocent tunes, can we know you better? "The female wolf answered first, "My name is Kaida, and he's Josh. We have been wandering on our own for a while before stumbling upon the pack."I was moved by the wolv
Chapter 7 Pov: Harriet As the days went by, I couldn't shake off the tension that lingered between Alpha Wade and myself. It was clear that he was still harboring some form of resentment towards Josh and me. I knew this needed to be addressed, for the sake of the pack's harmony.Taking a deep breath, I approached Alpha Wade in his study, determined to have an open and honest conversation. The room was adorned with ancient artifacts and books, lending an air of wisdom and authority to the space. Wade sat at his desk, engrossed in his work, but he looked up when he sensed my presence."Alpha Wade," I began, my voice steady but filled with concern. "I wanted to talk to you about Josh and me."His gaze met mine, his green eyes flickering with a mixture of emotions. "Go on," he said, gesturing for me to continue."I understand if you feel uneasy about our growing friendship. Josh and I have become close over time, but it's purely platonic. I see him as a friend, a valuable member of our
Chapter 8POV: Alpha WadeThe pack gathered in the clearing, tension thick in the air. It was a full moon, and our instincts were heightened. Everyone could sense that something was about to happen, but none of us could have predicted what was to come.As we stood together, a sudden gust of wind swept through the clearing, causing the leaves to rustle and the trees to sway. The sky grew dark as if a storm were about to unleash its fury upon us. And then, out of the shadows, emerged a figure. It was a woman, dressed in a flowing black cloak that billowed around her as if she were surrounded by darkness itself. Her eyes bore into mine, filled with a mix of determination and malice."Alpha Wade," she said, her voice cold and calculating. "We have unfinished business."I took a step forward, my instincts on high alert. "And who are you?" I asked, my voice steady but tinged with caution. The woman smirked, a glimmer of amusement in her eyes. "You may call me Isabella. I am here to take wha
Chapter 9.POV: Alpha WadeThe tension in the clearing was palpable as we faced off against Isabella. I could sense the unease among my pack, the doubt and fear that threatened to weaken our unity. But as an Alpha, it was my duty to lead with unwavering strength.I locked eyes with Isabella, her gaze filled with an intensity that sent a shiver down my spine. She was a force to be reckoned with, and I knew we couldn't underestimate her."Isabella," I spoke, my voice firm and commanding. "What is it that you seek? Why have you come here, disrupting the harmony of our pack?"She smirked, a dangerous glint in her eyes. "Alpha Wade, it's not harmony I seek. Its power. The power that rightfully belongs to me."Before I could respond, Omega Orien stepped forward, his presence a surprise. I observed him, noticing the determination etched on his face. Orien was always a quiet and reserved individual, but I could sense a newfound strength within him."Isabella," Orien's voice quivered with a mi
The aftermath of the Moon Goddess's intervention left the pack in a state of cautious optimism. Isabella, once driven by ambition and power, now walked a precarious path of redemption under Alpha Wade's guidance. As the days passed, tensions simmered within the pack, challenges arising from distrust and wounds yet to heal.Rumors circulated, questioning Isabella's sincerity. Some pack members struggled to let go of past grievances, skeptical of her sudden change of heart. Alpha Wade faced the daunting task of balancing justice with mercy, striving to rebuild trust among his wolves while guiding Isabella toward a genuine transformation.Orien, grappling with her newfound role in the pack's dynamics, became a bridge between conflicting emotions. Her unwavering support for Alpha Wade's decisions and her empathy toward Isabella served as a beacon of hope amid uncertainty. However, doubts lingered within her own mind—was Isabella truly embracing change, or was this a ploy for dominance?Me
Conquering Darkness Pov: Alpha Wade The battle raged on as Isabella, fueled by her thirst for power, unleashed her formidable abilities upon us.Standing tall and resolute, I met her gaze. I said "Isabella, you underestimate the strength of my pack. We won't go down without a fight."Isabella smirked, her eyes gleaming with confidence. "Your pack may be strong, but they lack the power that courses through my veins. Prepare yourself, Wade."Isabella's voice rang out, filled with determination. "Wade, I've come to challenge you for the alpha position. Your reign ends today."Wade's voice rang out, filled with conviction. "Isabella, true strength comes from love, unity, and the unwavering bond of a pack. It's time for your reign to end."Orien, Wade's loyal omega, stepped forward, his voice filled with unwavering loyalty. "Isabella, you may have power, but you underestimate the bond that unites our pack. We will protect our alpha at all costs."Isabella: Hah! Your loyalty won't be en
The full moon shone brightly over the pack's territory, casting a soft glow on the festivities below. The pack had gathered to celebrate their victory against Isabella's attack. The air was filled with laughter, music, and the delicious scent of roasted game.Alpha Wade, still basking in the triumph, scanned the crowd for Harriet, his heart yearning to see her smile. As he made his way through the pack, he couldn't help but notice the joyous expressions on their faces. The unity and resilience of his pack members were evident in their celebratory dance and cheerful conversations.Just as Wade was about to reach Harriet, he felt a gentle tug on his arm. He turned to find Orien, his loyal omega, wearing a concerned expression."Alpha Wade," Orien said, his voice filled with urgency, "I have important news. We've received word that a neighboring pack is planning an attack."Wade's heart sank. The joyous atmosphere around them suddenly felt fragile. He knew he had to act swiftly to protec
The festival was in full swing, and the pack was celebrating the victory we had achieved. I looked around, and I saw the happiness and joy on everyone's faces. But even in the midst of all the celebration, there was one person who held my attention. My mate, Luna Harriet, stood by my side, her eyes shining with pride. We had been through so much together, and now we were standing here, victorious. I looked at her, and I knew that I was the luckiest man in the world.I reached out and took her hand in mine. She looked at me, and I saw the love in her eyes. "I'm so grateful for you," I said. "You've been my strength and my inspiration through all of this." She smiled, and I felt my heart swell with love. "I'm the one who's grateful," she said. "You're the one who gave me the courage to keep going, even when things were difficult." We stood there, lost in each other's eyes, as the music played around us. At that moment, it felt like we were the only two people in the world. I leaned in a
Alpha Wade POVThe attack came without warning. We were not prepared for it. The enemy was swift and strong, and we were outnumbered. But we were not afraid. We had each other, and we would fight with everything we had. I fought alongside my son, Fionn. He was a fierce and skilled warrior, and I was proud to fight beside him. I saw the determination in his eyes, and I knew that we would not give up. Together, we would protect our pack. The enemy was relentless, but we were not deterred. We fought with a ferocity that I had never seen before. We pushed them back, inch by inch. They were strong, but we were stronger. I saw Fionn fight with a courage that I had not known he possessed. He was fearless, and his resolve was unbreakable. As we fought, I saw the enemy falter. They were losing ground, and they knew it. Their resolve began to waver. And then, something unexpected happened. In the midst of the battle, I saw a group of enemy warriors grab Juniper and drag her away. My heart sank.
The sorcerer, known only as the Dark One, approached the alpha of the rival pack. "You have nothing to fear from Alpha Wade," he said. "I can give you the power you desire if you will join me." The alpha was tempted, but he knew that something was not right. "What do you want in return?" he asked. The Dark One smiled. "All I ask is that you give me your loyalty and your soul," he said. The alpha hesitated, but then he agreed. He was blinded by his desire for power. The Dark One's power grew, and he began to spread his influence throughout the land. He gathered the following of those who were willing to do his bidding, and he sought to overthrow Alpha Wade. But Alpha Wade was ready for him. He gathered his pack, and they prepared for battle. The day of the showdown arrived, and the rival pack met Alpha Wade's pack in the Valley of the Ancients. The two sides faced each other, and the Dark One stood in the center. "Surrender now, and I will spare your lives," he said.Alpha Wade stepped
Tela pov. Fionn and I had been together for many months, and our relationship had only grown deeper. We spent every moment together that we could, and our bond was unbreakable. Our love for each other was unlike anything I had ever experienced. One night, as we lay together under the stars, Fionn turned to me and said something that would change our lives forever. "Tela, I want you to know that I love you with all of my heart," he said. "And I want to spend the rest of my life with you."I was overjoyed to hear Fionn's words, and I knew that he was my soulmate. But then, I felt something else. A fluttering in my stomach, a warmth in my body. I could hardly believe it. I was pregnant. I turned to Fionn, a smile on my face. "Fionn," I said, "I have something to tell you." He looked at me, his eyes full of curiosity. "What is it?" he asked. I took a deep breath, and I told him the news. I was met with silence, but then, Fionn's face broke into a smile. "We're going to have a child?" he
Alpha Wade POV.One evening, I was sitting by the fire with some of the pack members, when I noticed that two of them were arguing. I recognized them as Fionn and Grayson, two of the younger pack members. Fionn was upset about something, and he was shouting at Grayson, who was trying to calm him down. I stood up, moving towards them. "What is going on?" I asked, my voice firm but not angry. Fionn turned to me, his eyes red and his fists clenched. "It is Grayson," Fionn said, his voice shaking with emotion. "They have been stealing food from the stores. I saw them taking food last night, and I confronted them about it. But they denied it." Grayson stepped forward, their hands held out in a gesture of peace. "I did not steal anything," they said, their voice quiet but firm. "I would never do such a thing. Fionn must have been mistaken." Fionn looked at them, his face filled with anger and disbelief. "You are lying!" I held up my hand, silencing them both. "There is no need for this,"
Alpha Wade. There was a time, before I was Alpha, when a stranger arrived in our territory. The pack was wary of this stranger, as we had never seen their kind before. The stranger was a wolf, but they were unlike any wolf we had ever seen. They were small and frail, and their fur was a strange shade of gray. They approached us slowly, their eyes wide with fear.We gathered around the stranger, our hackles raised and our teeth bared. But the stranger did not attack, instead they held out their paw in a gesture of peace. We were unsure of what to do, so we turned to me for guidance. I approached the stranger, my curiosity outweighing my caution. I sniffed at their paw, and they did not flinch. I then sat down, still keeping my guard up, and gestured for them to speak. The stranger began to speak, their voice trembling with fear. They told us that they had been cast out of their pack, and that they were seeking a new home. They told us of their journey, of the dangers they had faced an
Fionn POVI returned to the pack with Tela at my side, eager to share our new knowledge and wisdom. But as we approached the den, we could see that something was wrong. There were angry voices raised in the argument, and we could feel the tension in the air. We hurried to the center of the pack, where we saw a group of elders gathered around the Alpha. Their faces were drawn and their voices were raised in anger. I could feel a sense of dread settling over me. What had happened? "What's going on?" I asked, my voice breaking the tense silence. Alpha Wade turned to me, his face lined with worry. "There has been a disagreement among the elders," he said. "There are those who believe that we should stay in this territory, and there are those who believe that we should move on. The pack is divided, and we are at a stalemate." I looked around at the faces of the pack, and I could see the division that he spoke of. Some were angry, others were afraid, and still others were hopeful. As I loo
Fionn and Tela were discussing the events of the battle, when suddenly, they heard a commotion outside the den. Fionn raced outside, and he saw something that made his blood run cold. A large group of humans was approaching the pack's territory, and they were carrying strange weapons. Fionn's instincts told him that this was a threat unlike any they had faced before. "We must prepare for battle," he said to the other wolves. "We must protect our pack at all costs."As the humans drew closer, Fionn could see that there were at least a dozen of them, all armed with rifles and other weapons. Fionn could feel the fear rising in his packmates, but he knew that they must stay strong. "We must fight as one," he said, addressing the other wolves. "We must use our numbers to our advantage. Stay together, and fight with all your might. For our pack, and for our future." The other wolves nodded, and they formed a line, ready to defend their home. The humans stopped in their tracks, and a tall ma
Alpha Wade POV. The adults were in a state of panic, but we knew that we had to remain calm and level-headed. We had to come up with a plan to protect our pack. The humans had weapons and technology that we didn't have, but we had our intelligence and our instincts. We were determined to use those to our advantage. The adults started to come up with different ideas and strategies, but none of them seemed like they would be enough to defeat the humans.I looked around at the adults, and I could see the fear and worry in their eyes. Then, I saw a small group of the youngest pups, playing in the corner of the den. They were oblivious to the danger that we were facing, and they were just enjoying their childhood. At that moment, I was hit with a wave of emotion. These pups were the future of our pack, and I knew that we had to protect them at all costs. I had to find a way to keep them safe.I took a deep breath and addressed the pack. "We cannot defeat the humans in a direct confrontati
