The pack’s lab is quiet today; Gus, Logan and I are waiting for the pack’s doctor who’s in the other room. He’s running the test on the werewolf, while making us wait in this room. I hear the streaming of pale coffee, and the tapping of the receptionist who’s tapping harshly on her laptop.

“Bullshit.” Logan exhales angrily, at least, we feel this same level of anger for that wolf that tried to attack Astrid, just earlier this morning, I already told Logan and Gus about Astrid.

“You remember her now?” I had crossed my hands.

“Holy shit, no wonder she looked so familiar. I knew I felt something for her.” Logan had said.

“Excuse me, brother?” I was stupefied.

He had kept his mouth shut and didn’t say any more words.

“How long does the screening take?” Gus raised a brow, his hands tightening around the white coffee cup that he hasn’t taken a gulp, his nervousness radiating around the air. Poor Gus.
