Naya's POV
Zach and his father continued staring into each other's eyes, like they could hear their thoughts. I was confused for a second, and I was about to snap my finger in front of Zach's face, when he slowly turned his head to look at me.He didn't say anything to me. He just dropped my hands and walked out of the room, brushing his shoulder against his father's. "You can go, Naya. Just come back early, before next week, at least." My father-in-law said, before leaving the room, the way Zach also left.I was still rooted to the ground, when Raiden tapped my shoulder and told me that we had to leave immediately. I was happy that I was going back to my house for a while, but at the same time, I was a bit said because I had planned to spend the next few days with Zach, before leaving him."Are you okay?" Raiden asked me, after waiting for me to finish packing the bag that I had been packing for some minutes. I have him a quick nod, while puttingNaya's povIgnoring raiden's numerous screams, I dashed into the dark forest, going after the wolf. I continued running until I could no longer tell where I was again. "Um...wolf?" I called out, knowing fully well that I sounded so stupid. I didn't remember that wolves can't talk, and even if they could, I was sure that the one I was going after couldn't.The rain still hadn't stopped, so it was pretty hard to see where I was going. I could no longer hear raiden's voice again. Things were becoming scary really fast, but it seemed like I couldn't retrace my steps again. I turned away from the tree that I was standing in front of, and I tried going back, but everywhere suddenly looked the same."Is anyone around? Help!" I screamed at the top of my lungs, but I was answered with the chirping of a few birds that looked like they were mocking me.God, what have I gotten myself into? I asked myself, while trying to think of what to do. It seemed like I was the only one in the world. Even th
Naya's POVThe forest was getting thicker and the day was getting darker, even though I could swear that it wasn't even evening yet. It felt like the universe was against me. The whole atmosphere was so cool, but instead of it to make me feel better, it was doing the opposite. It was giving me a feeling, one that wasn't good.I scanned everywhere with my eyes, but I could see nothing but wet leaves, tall trees and a few birds. It was so weird. I was the only human stuck in the middle of a forest that probably had things that could kill me in a matter of seconds. Just thinking about that sent shivers down my spine. I just hoped my situation never had to get to that stage, because I didn't have my Zach to protect me."If I die today, I love you Zach," I whispered to myself, while trying to clear the little bushes in front of me. I was sure that I probably didn't mean any of my words and I just said that I loved Zach because I wasn't sure if come out of the forest alive. Loving Zach was.
Naya's POVI was gone, I really was. For a moment, everywhere was dark. Two seconds later, I saw that I was in the middle of a field, a big one. I was alone there, I couldn't see anybody. it felt like I was the only one in the whole world, in MY world. I started looking around, but I didn't see anything, but weeds and a few hays here and there. I was stuck, I couldn't move. The world was a field and it didn't seem like I was going to leave there anytime soon.I tried moving my legs, but I looked down to find them rooted to the soil. It was so sticky. I tried pushing my legs out with force. When I tried that, I fell down flat on my face. It was so annoying, because my face was literally in a puddle. After cussing at the universe in my mind, I tried standing up. I did, but the view I was welcomed with, almost made me fall down on my face again. This time, I wasn't in a field. I was at the edge of a cliff. Everywhere was dark this time and I could barely make out the remaining part o
Naya's POVTwo days? I instantly squinted my eyes to hear the man properly. Did he just say that I've been in his house for two days? No, that can't be possible! It can't!"Sorry, wha-" I started saying, but at that time, my eyes started feeling weird. I held on to my head, but it didn't work. The man stretched his hand forward again, and without arguing this time, I took the cup and downed the content at a go. Before taking it, I thought it was water, but the bitter taste staying at the top of my tongue, told me otherwise."What was that?" I asked the man, while trying to look at the cup. I could see tiny drops of black substance at the bottom of the cup, but I couldn't make out what it was. I gripped the cup firmly and I started moving it to my nose to smell it, but before I could do that, I was stopped by the man's hand.He snatched it from me and kept the cup many feet away from me. Even though I had no strength to argue, I still wanted to know what I just drank. "I need to know.
Naya's POVThe man continued leading me into the house, but my mind was no longer stable. I didn't know why I was feeling so many chills, getting scared of the next day. What could be the relationship between the man's son and I? Most importantly, why did I care so much about him? It was weird, I was weird and I couldn't hide it. I placed my hand on my chest to balance my breathing, but it didn't work. After a while, I held on to a wall, while watching the man walk into a corner of the house. I shut my eyes for a while, while balancing my breathing. I was feeling so overwhelmed, but I didn't know why. It was weird and I hated feeling that way so much.I did that for about a minute. After that, I was okay and I followed the way the old man passed. I wondered why he didn't even notice that I was no longer behind him.The plan to run away from the old man's house kept on ringing in my head, but I knew that I had to stay for the meantime to at least, get some answers and thank him, becaus
Naya's POVIt was a box, a brown one. It was a big one and it looked like it had so many things in it. I turned around and I started walking towards it to check what it was. I was about to get to it, when the door suddenly swung open. I turned around instantly, to find the man standing at the door, with a small frown on his face. I really hoped he wasn't aware of what I was about to do.I looked at the man again and I saw that the frown was gone, and it was replaced with a small smile instead. "I can see that you like the clothes," the man said and I looked down to see my right hand clutching onto the hem of the bright coloured blouse."Um, yes. It's okay." I replied and he replied with a small nod. He started walking towards it. I didn't know why I subconsciously backed away until my back touched the wall. "I have a question!" I said and the man stopped in his tracks, with a slight turn of his head."Where did you- how did you get my size? The clothes." I asked nervously, while point
Naya's POVThe question kept on ringing in my head for the next minute. I didn't know the answer to give him, so I just nodded my head. He didn't seem convinced. That was understandable, I wasn't convinced either."What's your name?" He asked, and I whispered out my name. My voice sounded strained and my hand moved to my throat. I asked for his too, and I could hear the pride in his voice when he said, "Gareth." It was an ancient name, but looking at him, I could understand why that was his name. He said that he was a priest and I wasn't the only person he was accommodating in the woods. That was reliving to know, at least. I wasn't the only stupid person getting lost in the woods, after being told not to.After that little chat about his son, I didn't know what to do again. It was just noon, but the day was a bit dark, like it was about to rain. I really hoped that wasn't the case.
Naya's POVWhat gave him the audacity to say that? He just met me thirty minutes ago, and he was already speaking like he was my father or something. I continued rambling on in my head, not saying a word to Liam again. I hated him already."I have to leave. My husband must be waiting for me." I turned my attention back to my meal, bit wanting to see their reactions. "You're married?" I heard Liam say, while Gareth only sighed.I didn't know if it was my mind playing tricks on me, or if I really heard Liam mutter, "that's disappointing," under his breath. No, it was probably my mind."Yes, happily married." The look on his face told me that he didn't believe me. I didn't believe myself either. The rest of the breakfast was consumed with no one uttering any other word. The only thing that was running through my mind was how Liam was Gareth's son, they looked nothing alike. I didn't want to ask either o
Zach’s POVZach was about to deal with Anna, when she fumbled under the pressure and told him that she was going to tell him about their superiors, because she wanted to save her life, but before she could talk, she started bleeding from all her orifices, it was a terrible sight to behold.Zach stopped in his footsteps and looked around the vicinity, because the moment Anna started bleeding he could feel a terrifying presence near the pack house, he immediately disappeared from where he was standing, all the people around had no idea what was going on, but they could feel an oppressive air in the surrounding.Zach came back just as he had left, but his face was gloomy at the moment, Zach turned his head and looked at Anna who was lying on the ground on her last breath, he knew that there was nothing he could do to save her at the moment.Anna raised her hand at him, as if to grasp the last straw that could save her, but before she could raise her hand completely, her hand fell down, s
Zach’s POVZach could keenly feel that he was neither a living nor was he dead, he was just in between, when he closed his eyes and stopped breathing a month ago, he felt like he was in a dream state and was surrounded by darkness all around him, no matter where he looked all he saw was darkness, and he was walking on muddy ground, he felt like he was sinking to the ground. The more he walked around the place looking for a source of light, the quicker he was sinking into the muddy ground, so he stopped walking, there was a source of light that he saw ahead of him, but the more he tried to reach toward it, the quicker he sank into the ground.Even though everyone thought that he was dead he could hear what people were saying around him like they were whisper to his ears, he did not pay attention to all of them but he could pick up the most important.According to the tradition of the werewolves, werewolves with high position like himself were to be buried after a month of their death,
Naya’s POVNaya was in danger of dying at the moment, her limbs could not keep up with the speed of her brain in order to move to the side and escape Anna’s lethal attack. She closed her eyes waiting for her neck to be punctured by Anna’s long nails, she could still hear the frantic howls of the werewolves behind her, she was sure that it was her family members that were rushing to save her from Anna, a line of tear fell down her werewolf face, she did not want to die, but what could she do?If she had a little longer to train in movement and fighting in her werewolf form she would have been able to put up a fight against Anna, if nothing else. But she did not feel the pain of having her neck punctured even after some time, she also noticed that the whole area was eerily quiet, she wondered whether death was this tranquil, if it felt like this to be dead then it would not be that bad, she decided to open her eyes to look around to see what the afterlife looked like. When her eyes open
Naya’s POVNaya had gone to the back of the house to change back into her human form, because she did not want to appear in front of the werewolf community naked, but when she arrived at place, she remembered that she did not have any clothes with her to change into even if she transformed. For fear of appearing naked, she decided to ask her siblings to help her with some clothing from her room in the house, but even after some time she did not hear from her siblings. At first she thought that they might be in a meeting with the rest of the werewolf community on how to fight against the vampires, but after an hour had passed and she did not hear from her siblings, she decided to head to the front of the house and see what was going on.Before she even arrived, her nose picked up a strong smell of iron in the air, when she sniffed in order to discern what the smell was, she felt the nauseating smell of blood, and it was in a very large quantity.Naya immediately started having a bed fe
Naya’s POVNaya’s’ emotions had gotten over her, so she transformed into her werewolf form when she thought that the female clad in blue at the forefront of the vampires was Anna, who was Zach’s ex-girlfriend that plotted against her and used Luke to kidnap her before they put the virus into Zach. That was also the virus that was threatening her pregnancy at the moment, if not for the fact that her unborn baby had the remaining virus transferred to it, she would not be at risk of her and her baby dying, because the baby was way stronger than normal babies in the womb.So how could she control herself, when her arch nemesis was right in front of her, that was why she lost control, she was trying to jump over the gate and tear her into pieces, so that she could revenge.Mr. Alistair and his sons had surrounded Naya, they were trying to calm her down, so that she does not make any mistakes that would cost her life.Mr. Alistair said “Naya calm down, don’t do anything that you are going t
Naya’s POVThe twist and turns that had happened in front of Zach’s pack house were really unpredictable, the blue moon pack that was about to be removed from being the number one pack in the North, but not only did that not happen, they were now back to being the overlord of all the werewolf community, and the other big three had been killed off, even though their pack houses were still around and the pack members were still alive, the real figure heads in charge of the packs have been killed, so taking care of the rest of the pack would be quiet easy, it was really surprising, Naya could not wrap her head around what had happened, but she was really happy for the Blue Moon pack. She wished Zach was around to see this glorious day, but there was no problem, when everything is settled here, she would focus her attention entirely on reviving him, she then remembered who their enemies were at the moment, they were the creatures that she hated the most, the Vampires. She soon set her min
Naya’s POVNaya and her family members went to the Zach’s pack house, they were there for the meeting that was being held against the Blue Moon Pack, because they are being suspected of eradicating two packs in the Northern vicinity, just when they thought that there was no evidence to prove that the Blue Moon pack really did annihilate John’s pack, Mr. Chris called the last surviving member of John’s pack, and he was pointing his finger at Louis as the person that was responsible for the attack on his pack. There were a lot of twists and turns today, and finally Mr. Chris said that the Blue Moon pack were no longer worthy of being called the hegemon of the Northern vicinity, he was trying to take away their title, Mr. Montgomery wanted to deal with all the packs that were standing against them in his own way, when they heard a loud shout coming from the woods. All the members of the werewolf community immediately went on guard, they were surprised that they did not notice the intrude
Naya’s POVNaya saw that things were going awry in front of Zach’s pack house, the situation was tense and it looked like a fight was going to break out at any time, so she decided to step up and explain what happened, that got the Dark Knight pack to be eliminated, she saw the gloomy look on Louis face and he was telling her not to say anything. She was wondering why he was acting like he was going to say something against the pack.Naya decided not to pay attention to him, so she looked at the former Alpha’s of the big three and said “sir this is exactly what had happened” she started narrating how she was plotted against during a festival, at first she did not want to air out her dirty laundry to outsiders, but if she believed that it could help alleviate the condition of Zach’s pack, she would do so willingly, she was telling them all about what had happened that led to the annihilation of Luke’s pack, but while she was telling them, she did not notice that the three former Alpha’
Naya’s POVNaya had followed her father to the Blue Moon pack, for the interrogation that was going to happen soon, she learnt from her brother that there were four big hegemon packs in the werewolf tribes and Zach’s pack was one of them, even more shocking was that, Zach’s pack before the war with the vampires were the only true hegemon in the werewolf circle, and that all the other werewolf packs had to take orders from them, she never knew about this information, now that she heard about it, she was surprised. When the other big three finally arrived, Naya stopped asking her brother questions and moved closer to hear what they were talking about with Mr. Montgomery. When she arrived near the gate, it was already filled to the brim with people that were standing behind the people from the big three, Naya could hear what they were talking about because her sense of hearing had been enhanced, so she listened carefully in order to understand what was going on.She heard Mr. Montgomery’
