Nova’s POV

My legs felt heavy as I ran through the woods. My head spins and the ache resonates through my whole body. I try to steady my breath, but it’s hard.

I felt exhausted and drained, yet my legs didn’t stop running. The trees blurred, and my thought fuzzed.

I didn’t know what was happening to me. I’ve never felt so powerful yet drained, almost like I had just fought a battle that has absorbed the energy out of me.

My whole body felt foreign to me. I paused, placing a hand on my head, as the striking pain got immense. I tried to reach and connect with my wolf but couldn't; the mere effort to get to her caused pain.

"Ahh,” I growled in pain.

“What is happening to me?” I cried out in pain, falling to the rock as I tried to catch my breath.

I tried to remember what had happened to me, but those blue orbs that I couldn’t point out came back to me.

They haunted my head like a living nightmare.

“Ahh..” I snarled, falling to my needs as images kept flashing through my head.
