Nova’s POV

I paced back and forth, my mind filled with thoughts, as it had been for days. I haven’t set my eyes on Alexandra for a week now, and I am beginning to worry too much.

“Nova”

My attention snapped to the middle-aged witch that has been helping me to understand my abilities.

The training hasn’t been helping; I haven’t even unlocked my abilities yet, talk less of understanding them.

“I can’t do this; I need to go see him,” I assert.

Kaisa’s lips spread into a smile. “Walk with me, Nova,” she instead demands, turning on her shoe.

I growled following suit, “I can’t do this; it’s not working. At this point, I am beginning to doubt if I am what you think I am.”

“Nova, you’re in denial.”

My brows furrowed. “How?”

“You still believe you are an Omega.”

None of what she is saying is making sense to me, yet I wanted her to go on.

“This isn’t about me anymore; I need to save Alexandra; he needs me,” I growled in frustration.
